No not making an excuse for Zay but when your comparing him to other wrs who clearly have a better qb throwing him the ball, it's hard to compare. Zay has had some bad hands this year for sure..

But look at goodwin this year compared to playing with tyrod etc...

Or, you could say look at Goodwin when he managed to stay healthy and devote himself to football instead of track in the off season. Either way.

If the Steelers win today (already up 10-0) does it take away any incentive from the Jags to beating the Titans? (Someone please let me know if that's correct.)

So if next week's gage is that meaningless, would Doug Marrone tank a game in order to keep the Bills from the playoffs? The only reason I can imagine he wouldn't is it would negatively affect his W/L record.

    Tank? No. Rest starters? Possibly.

I'm sure Doug would rather win this game and not see his team limp into the post season on a 2 game losing streak.

For the last few weeks, there were several threads on how we were going to get back at him....on how the " hood " wanted to exact revenge.....None of that happened yesterday....Gronk ended up having his typical game....and no one got up in his face.....

Are you on the side of " let's be the bigger team " or are you upset and surprised there were no repercussions?

I'd rather have my team act like professionals rather than a bunch of thugish punks. We aren't the Seahawks.

  4. I will admit I liked the signing and even defended him the first few weeks of the season. I was wrong.

It seems he has lost weight (believe it or not). He doesn't have the power that he did a couple years ago. Today I watched him barrel into a defender and fall down. The defender didn't even rock back. He's a power back with no power at all.

What's A-Train up to these days? Even he would be an improvement.

Are you even a Bills fan?

You aren't acting like one. lol

You're right. Most Bills fans take to whining and crying after a loss.

So far questioned on fanhood and cussed at in this thread. No doubt by the clowns the fly through flaming tables.

    !@#$ off.

It wasn't the call ON the field. The problem was the secret viewing session in NYC. And yes, I could easily sit and watch replays to decide these challenged calls.

Wow, what holly jolly language you have there. You must have awesome wisdom and knowledge.

Tony Romo made some very astute analysis during the game in a polite way when talking about TT.  Gave credit where due but also made criticisms that pointed out his weaknesses.

Honestly used to hate Romo when he was with the Cowboys. His commentary however has won me over. He's smart. Wonder if he would be open be being a QB coach?

Hate to say, but we don’t deserve to be in the playoff. I know it been since 1999, but I want our team to make it when we are good not “omg let’s hope if that team lose, so we can make it”. TT is driving me nuts. And our D ain’t really that great or good. They above average

My word, your logic is way worse then Taylor's QB play. And I don't like his QB play.

  9. I went Jacksonville/New Orleans

Both have a nasty defense, both have a strong running game. Jacksonville dismantled Pittsburgh once this year and I don't thing New England is that far ahead of either of those 2 teams.

I would have picked the Eagles but...Wentz. I would have picked the Vikings but the Keenum storytale must have an ending.

    Saints 27 Jaguars 16

I've been going back & forth on whether this is worth a thread, but every game I get more & more ticked off that this hasn't been addressed by the coaching staff.

Can someone at OBD tell Brandon Tate to NOT take the ball out of the endzone? It seems like several times each game he hurts our field position quite a bit, setting back an already weak offense even further. I'd rather see him kneel 100% of the time & start at the 25 yard line than take it out every time HOPING he breaks away for a big return, only to get stuffed at the 15. Just last week he averaged 12 yards a return -_-

For the year, he's averaging around 19.8 yards a return, and considering how often he returns it from the endzone (or right outside endzone, instead of letting the ball bounce in), that puts us further back than had he just knelt down. He hasn't had a TD on a kickoff return since 2010, in 8 seasons he's only had less total yards twice, he's averaging his lowest career return average ever (previous low was 22.1), and his longest of the year was 29 yards. In fact, he's only had 5 total returns of 25 yards or more all year.

Every game I forget about it until it happens...then it happens again....and again. I keep wondering why the heck someone doesn't tell him this is hurting the team! Does anyone else share similar concerns & frustrations?

Not really a fan of his. He takes a lot of chances fielding punts that he shouldn't, doesn't seem like a real threat to take it to the house. I see why he was deactivated a few games early in the season.

I would hope the position is upgraded in the off season. I will add, however, I like what he has done with his limited opportunity as a WR. Made the one awesome play that lit the team up and a couple other solid grabs.
