Let’s see some Josh runs. More 19’ offense and less pretending this guy is drew Brees
We need another Cole Beasley if we want ‘19 Josh I think

The signs have been there for a while not just this year and the damn is starting to break now. Still a while to go but not looking good

What makes you think the Seahawks (who are very much in the playoff picture) are willing to part with DK Metcalf or Lockett? That’s delusional thinking
Just spitballing names that could (possibly) be available. There’s still a couple weeks before the deadline

Beane needs to be on the phone for offensive help. Jeudy isn’t helping us much. What about dk metcalf? Hell I’d even take Tyler lockett. Somebody has to be available. I don’t care. We can’t keep going with the offense the way it is

Not out the woods yet

Finally a 50/50 ball goes our way

Why didn't we go for two there? What's the difference between 4 and 5? 6 brings in two FG or a missed PAT.
Because if it were 4 and they get a td a fg only ties it

Daboll probably isn’t going to get away from the run this drive. Man up defense

Say what you want about dorse tonight but that was a great playcall
-
Von isn’t even a year removed from the injury. Can’t expect him to be vintage von right now. He may never get that bend back either

How many times can something like this happen to one team

We are still desperately missing Beasley circa 2020 from this offense. Or any other consistent second option for that matter
-
I’ll say it again this defense can still wreck games when the front is healthy. Leaning more towards if beane makes a move at the deadline it should be offense and double down on it
-
Aj is balling
-
That was pretty close gotta see that again

Josh having to go nuclear after all the injuries sounds a lot like last year. I’ve almost come around to the thinking that if beane makes a move he should just double down on offense and just try to outscore everybody. If the front 4 is healthy the defense could still wreck games. Too many times the offense stutters when it shouldn’t.

Maybe he is there to help out Elam sorta like Derek Anderson did josh. I chant imagine or hope they are getting him ready to see a lot of actual playing time
-
The best they could come up with is 35 yr old josh Norman off the couch?

Beane has been pretty clear - he wants a long-term contender.
We have good depth at LB and CB, and good players stepping in for the injured guys. To actually get better players in those positions would require some real capital, and compromise longer-term team building.
I could see us raiding a practice squad or 2 for better depth in case some of the replacements get hurt - but that's it.
I understand that thinking I do, and I want to be good long term too but when you whiff on a guy like beane has in Elam so far when you really need help at that position, what good does that do you sometimes. We looked like maybe the best team in the conference vs miami until tre went down again. If we could get someone on either side of the ball that could really help us, this might be the time he has to pull the trigger. We don’t really have time to wait with a lot of this roster

Gabe missed one critical catch that cost the team a FG chance but he also came up with some plays. I liked what I saw from him. The issue in my mind is establishing a power running game from under center to be less reliant on Josh throwing the ball. This was not the type of game where we could overcome a bad drop like that. I like gabe but Gabe is so hot and cold it’s unreal. That was an easy completion for a first down and he killed the drive.

Diggs was completely out-wrestled by a 5ft 9 CB at one point.
Even so, diggs was the only consistent playmaker today and that’s a fact. It’s not the first time either

Honestly almost laughable that this offense has been THIS inept. There’s been bad teams with backups that have moved the ball better than we have. There’s no way you can keep Dorsey around the way it is right now. McDermott can go too enough is enough
