This team Is just never in sync with one another. It’s either one or the other and then come crunch time they crumble. McDermott should be fired today
-
Bunch of absolute ***** chokers starting with this coach
-
Can diggs ever seem to get open in a big game
-
You can see how big of a fraud this guy is based off his tone and demeanor in his pc’s from past years compared to this one. He’s been overly nice recently compared to priors. It’s phony as hell. Just be who you are then. He knows he’s in trouble. He even played the victim card in his apology. Fake. The softness of this team comes directly from him. I do think he’s a decent guy and a solid coach but we are never going to win it all with him it’s over

I’ll have to watch Micah again but my thought was he was adamantly defending Sean. But have Josh and diggs spoken about it? I haven’t watched their pc’s the past couple days but that is really telling that they haven’t commented imo

He sure sounds like a GM that supports his coach. The brain trust here tells me that Beane will recommend firing himBeane and mcd are connected at the hip. If McDermott goes so will beane

Does anyone think he still would survive this if this story had come out before the stadium deal was signed? Absolutely not.

If you think over the years we’ve been getting screwed by bad officiating before, wait till you see what probably happens now. Dunne is a punk for putting out this hit piece, but Sean said what he said and admitted it. And just embarassed the organization in a really bad way. He needs to go it doesn’t seem likes it’s recoverable.

McDermott looks wide eyed and nervous like the walls are closing in in that presser. His tone in general has been way different this year in his pressers if anyone has noticed. He used to be dismissive, dictatorial-like towards reporters in the past. He’s been lighter this year

Is anyone shocked?
He came to Buffalo trumpeting a "physical run game" to play in "snowy weather".
He'll tell you himself that he's seen it all, done it all, thought of everything, knows what it is supposed to look like, in his same low-volume, generic platitude, monotone style.
The team is managed exactly like a Defensive Coordinator as Head Coach would be - picks and resources devoted to the defense, a franchise QB given one big time weapon and a cast of low round misfits (Allen said it again yesterday referencing how Buffalo feels like Wyoming - literally yesterday).
It's clear that we have peaked with him as a Coach, but Buffalo is going to hold onto 2017 and breaking The Drought. All I can hope as a fan is that the Bills add more brainpower to the offensive coaching staff to compete with the other best coaches in the world, and Allen stays motivated to stay in Buffalo because he is fond of reminding everyone how small and uninteresting the city is in every interview he gives.
Terry loves him, calls him a faith based leader. All we can do is pray for offensive investment.
Which interview did Josh say Buffalo was uninteresting?
-
Mike Francesa on his podcast today said he spoke to someone who is very close to Allen and said it was Gabe’s fault and he broke the wrong way. Make of that what you will.
-
Which is right where belichick should go if he leaves New England.
-
Vikings loss has to be on there too

I brought up McVay before and other had similar sentiments, but at the end of the day these dudes have massive egos and if it was a truly viable scenario there's no way he's passing up the opportunity to coach a team with the best QB he's ever had in Josh Allen.
This is has also been my argument that if/when Terry Pegula does dump McDummy...you'll see every big name out there lining up and begging for an interview in Buffalo because of Josh Allen.
Ben Johnson is another name tossed around and remember he said no to the Carolina Panthers last year. If Buffalo comes calling not only is he saying yes but probably not bothering to interview with any other team.
I just don’t see him and his supermodel wife moving to Buffalo, at all. If it were even a possibility obviously I hope it would happen. We have an owner with deep pockets so you can never say never. A josh Allen and mcvay led offense would be unbelievable. Ben Johnson is much more realistic and would probably jump at the chance I agree there

What has Sal said that shows he and/or the organization has turned? Could someone share that?

There was speculation Sean McVay was going to resign last year, maybe he does this summer?
Yeah if mcvay were available he would have to be the #1 choice or close to it. But let’s be honest, that guy is not coaching in Buffalo ny after leaving Los Angeles whether josh Allen is here or not

I’ve been thinking this for a few weeks now. He doesn’t look as explosive as he has in years past. Likely because he’s aging. Is he still very good? Yes. But you can’t say that this is the same diggs as 2020 because he isn’t. We are about to be a in a bad spot with this roster with nothing to show for it
-
As our next coach? Absolutely not. As part of the staff of the next regime? Possibly

They likely reviewed it quickly and decided the call would stand...it's called an Express booth review and usually happens when there is clear evidence to either overturn or let it stand without going thru a review
Yes I understand and know what that is. It that moment it should not have been an express review. It should’ve been stopped and looked at
-
I thought it was a clear fumble too. He turned with the ball. I’ve seen it go the other way 100 times. How it was never even reviewed is laughable but expected after the joke that was the officiating today

We could run the table and make it but we won't. We find ways to lose games.
Hyde and Poyer are old. Diggs is getting old. Tre and Von are huge cap hits. Milano is a question mark.
This team needs a year to collect assets/talent while we wait for an opportunity to clean up the cap and try to build out another team for Josh.
We can even address coaching if we give it a year.
Agreed but it can’t be with McDermott. It should be more than blatantly obvious to anybody he should be fired. It all came to a head now. Over and over again his defense cannot get a stop in a big moment. That’s all that needs to be said. We are not going anywhere further with him

McDermott should be the next coach fired. Case ***** closed. It’s not even debatable anymore

Why is sherfield even in the game at this point
