The thing that strikes me about it is to see how much Rivers has progressed since his first start. Even just counting this year, JP has seriously regressed. You can't say he is at the same competency level as the Pats or Miami game. The play-calling is only bad b/c it's not being executed worth a sh--, and it starts with a QB that Fairchild has lost some confidence in.

I'm not a mind-reader, but the way Nate was treated last off-season was a slap in the face to him. As I've said before, if Nate had any interest in staying in Buffalo, he would've signed a contract last year. That he'd risk career-ending injury over signing a contract that would set him for life tells me he wants out. The position/outlook for this team has to weigh on his mind too. In coaching, the faces have changed and the losing schemes have stayed the same. 'Change of scenery' is what other people say. No matter how many Benjamins are on any contract proposal, I don't see a scenario where Nate signs. And this is the last time I'm going to respond to this crusade of yours.

Find a kicker who is perfect. Lindell has been an excellent kicker for the past two seasons. And yes, I will bring April into it. If he felt that Lindell wasn't good enough, he would've replaced him either of the past two offseasons. Sorry, but there's a reason why April has an office at OBD and you have a couch in front of your TeeVee. BTW -- Have you ever tried to kick a FG? That wasn't exactly a wild-miss kick; if it were, you might have a point. But even then, it would still be just one kick. As mad as you are at Lindell, I guarantee RL is 100 times madder at himself. The problem kickers have is that they get so few plays per game. Same reason why you don't cut a RB for one fumble when otherwise, they are put up strong numbers. Like I said before, people are upset, this is gut-level.

If you think the D and ST can show up like this EVERY game just to have a chance at winning, you need to get your head examined. Taglibue said it before this season that what Buffalo needs to do to get competitive is solve the QB problem. But what does he know?
