3500 was the benchmark for passing and 1000 for rushing and receiving decades ago to be considered "elite". Now, it's more like 4500 and 1500 respectively. I think to be considered a true "Dual Threat" QB you'd have to establish a standard of let's say 4000 yds passing and 600 yards rushing with a 40 TD total over a sustained period of time. Ironically our boy is the only QB that consistently hits those numbers. Is he the greatest now? I'd say no. But 2 more years like his last 4 and he will be without a doubt.

I don't like him either but I won't deny that he's an exceptional CB. Even without the help from the refs he'd still be a Top 3 corner. The penalties just put him on a different level above everyone else, and that's what the numbers project.

Maybe Mahomes would've faired better due to his elusiveness and improvisation under McDermott. But, you can't tell me with the talent JA possesses and the offensive scheming Reid designs that he would have not excelled under his tutelage. Anybody here with some sense would agree Mahomes is the best, but like Purdy and Hurts he fell into a real nice situation compared to most rookie QBs that fall into "rebuild" situations.

Physically Josh can do everything Mahomes can do. Can Mahomes do everything Allen does? Can he run like Josh? Can he truck players like Josh? Can he jump over players like Josh? Josh is a victim of poor coaching and defensive meltdowns at critical moments. I don't care what anyone says, Josh would have 3 rings by now if he had Reid and Spags. Of course its JMHO....

I also fully believe Kincaid will eclipse 1k. With all the newbies on the roster JA will be relying on "his guys" and Kincaid is gonna be that safety valve.
