I think that having Super Bowl experience is much more valuable than Stanley Cup Experience
1. One game vs Seven
2. Much more hype, media scrutiny and buildup to the game
3. All on the road vs being at home and having games in your own building

.. and any other posters. please take down your listing if
a) tix are already sold
b) you don't need tix anymore
c) the game has already been played
Thanks - it makes it so much easier for those looking to buy or sell tix to not have to sift through outdated listings
Go Bills - can't wait until the Listing title is "Super Bowl TIx Needed!" or "VIP tickets needed for Bills Super Bowl Parade"- 1

Selling individual games or entire season
NO FEES so better deal than Stubhub or Ticketmaster

I was at that home game against the Raiders which was Joe Collier's last in Buffalo.
I remember listening to that game while at Chestnut Ridge Park - we lost 48 to 6

I’d give Beane a B+ for this draft. I think overall he added a lot of nice, cheap, quality depth to this team, but did he add any quality game changers to this team like MHJ, Nabers or Odunze? I’m not saying he did, but I’m not saying he didn’t either. Beane essentially cut a bunch of old and overpriced players from the roster and added a bunch of youth. Well done, imo.

Josh Allen will be 28 years old when the season starts.
The absolute prime of his career.
Yes. There is a reasonable explanation for all of Brandon Beane's offseason moves. Why he surprisingly cut Mitch Morse (along with several other veterans). Why he decided not to restructure all of Allen's contract, and did almost nothing in Free Agency. Why he traded Stefon Diggs and took on tons of dead cap. Why he decided not to move up in the draft this year for a Top 3 receiver. And I'm sure many of the level-headed and conservative critics are applauding those moves.
The problem is that ALL of Beane's decisions are geared to help us in 2025. But nothing has been done to give the Bills a better chance at winning the Super Bowl in 2024. Our roster is significantly weaker than any point in the last 3-4 seasons, with much less depth across the board. Can anyone honestly compare our talent level versus the Chiefs (again), Bengals, Texans, Ravens... or even the Jets, and think we will be a serious contender in the AFC this year?
We only get so many cracks at this thing before Allen's best years are behind him, and we seem to be content punting away this upcoming season and reloading for the future. Maybe we can argue it was the "smartest" thing for the franchise. But personally, I think it's depressing.
We were over the cap and most of the players that were let go were a combo of
a) too expensive
b) on the down side of their careers
c) apparent malcontents
d) coming off injuries
We traded down JUST 5 spots and ended up with a 3rd round pick and much better draft positions - I think a pretty good move
I am sure Beane's plan is to use some of those later picks to get us back into better position in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and we can end up with hopefully 4 or 5 starters out of the draft

pick 12 and not a single Defensive player picked - All QB, WR and OT
Tells you where GM's prioritize

Seen him play in the Rockpile 1970.
Was at that game - think were shut out 19-0
IIRC, we once had a 4th and 52 from our 2 yard line

Anyone who thinks they can complete a single pass (that is not a shovel pass) is totally delusional
You have no ideal of how
a) how much chaos is going on with each play
b) how fast and athletic the defenders are
c) how you would probably not even be able to see past the line of scrimmage
In HS, me and 2 friends played 3 on 1 against a 6"5 scrub who was on the NBA Buffalo Braves. We could not get a shot off as somehow he was able to cover all 3 of us at once (and yes we were spread out - one on each base line and one at the foul line)

That could just be the laws of probability at work. If every team just threw darts at their draft board, at least some would have good results.
I've always thought the best draft strategy, at least for teams drafting high, would be to trade down incrementally for as many second-round picks as possible, and do the same from the other direction, trading up into the second round. End up with, say, six or seven second-round picks. The odds of hitting gold seem much higher than just two high picks.
Totally agree (but would say the 2nd and 3rd rounds) - that way you are getting a whole slew of theoretically good players and all on relatively cheap contracts

The 2021 QB class has been an absolute disaster
2 of the 5 First round QB's already traded: Wilson and Fields likely to be as well
Fields is only one of the 4 that will actually be garner more than a mid to late round draft pick

Of course I could also see going after AJ Dillon or drafting someone late like Isaiah Davis in the draft to give us a "bigger" back.
I think we only draft/sign Isaiah's who are WR's!

Exactly. It’s not like he’d be worse. I think the main criteria the team is looking for in a Bills backup QB is that he’s very cheap. Maybe we can draft someone with a late pick.
Why waste a pick on someone who will hopefully never play
and if he is forced to play, do you want to entrust our season to a late round inexperienced Rookie qb

Brian Brohm takes the cake for me. Two starts, 0 wins, 0 TD's, 5 INT's, 51.9 completion percentage. He had a 9.6 INT percentage, higher than Nathan Peterman's. Peterman at least won a game...
He decided to stay in college for one more year - had he come out earlier he was considered an overall #1 pick

Went to Minneapolis and Pasadena (IIRC we lost both of those)
Face Value back then was $150 and could scalp for around $400.
Cool stat - my dad RIP went to Super Bowl 1 - was in LA for a conference and splurged $5 for a ticket
I still have the program he bought for us

It's hard to determine why this happened, but once Brady took over, Buffalo had:
21 drops
10.1% drop rate
Both worst in the NFL over that span
Could it be colder weather later in the season

People in Hollywood, sports, music and politicians could all give 1 million dollars and put a dent into our national US debt
He will be paying 37% Federal Tax and 12% California State - so he will be paying around $7 million per year in income taxes
Our National Debt is around $34 Trillion or equal to $1 million for EACH man, woman, and child - so $1 million from each of the categories you suggest is barely a drop in the bucket

Since 2019 these are the most correlated stats the Bills have to winning % when looking at core box scores. Some of these play true for all teams. Some are incredibly weighted for our team, much more so than averages.
Would be interesting to see how these compare to the league averages

Since 1975: 21.3% of #2 seeds reach the Super Bowl
Since 2000: 13.3% with 7 out of 53 teams @ #2 reaching the playoffs.
since '75 42.7% advance to the conference championships
since '00: 37.7% advance to the conf championship
Up until recently, a 2 seed only needed 1 win to go to conference championship and 2 to go to the super bowl.
Now it is is 3 and 4

considering niners 6th will be a very late round pick and the broncos an early round pick - they are basically just swapping a few spots (same w Claypool with Dolphins and bears)
What team do you feel has had the most collection of talent in the history of sports?

Had we not traded AD for Billy Knight and traded Malone for $, we would have had a frontcourt of 3 HOF'ers: McAdoo, Dantley and Malone.
Possibly one of the greatest ever and could have competed for titles
Thank you Paul Snyder and John Why?
