Maclin was the number one guy that opposing teams top db shadowed and the secondary primary wr concern. Now everyone else elevates so T Hill becomes top guy and less effective. The Chiefs only have two receiving options now in Hill and Kelce. So yes it affects the scoreboard and ultimately wins and losses thus improving our pick.Just to add substance...
Bob Woods had more receiving yards in 2016 than Maclin. Is it fair to say the Bills loss of Woods will make them win less games?

I listened to the give and take between John Murphy and Frazier. Just because Frazier said "potentially" when JM asked him about Ragland at OLB, I don't assume he's giving us his true opinion.
Would you really expect him to answer "hell no, he's not athletic enough to play outside"? I don't think coaches make statements like that unless they're really put in a corner.
Bingo. He can play outside but sounds like he is playing the middle

The schedule does appear more difficult this year however there is reason for optimism. Its going to be tough but all i want to see is improvement. A more competitive team, a defense that doesnt get run all over and an offence that doesnt rely on shady making plays all over to be successful.
Those reasons alone should help improve us regardless if we play the Pats 16 times a year

Regardless or not its a Qb driven league and the 18 class is more talented. No doubt a couple go high considering how the 17 draft went.

Front office looking solid. Most I importantly is cohesion within the group. I'm thinking everyone is on board with that.

Its clear with picking up an extra first and the way Tyrod contract is structured McDermott and Bean are all in on a first round franchise Qb next year.
McDermott knows you need one to be successful. Cam was a huge part of the Panthers success and i expect a similar team construction with the Bills
