Sadly, I became a Bills fan during the Bledsoe-Losman transition era. 2004 was a wild enough ride of a season to keep me hooked and Billieving until the end of the drought.

McConkey probably isn't a starting NFL player back in Reed's prime. It took defense's getting smaller, in response to running backs like Thurman Thomas destroying LB's in coverage, for the league to take the next step and go to smaller slot-only receivers. The slot receiver of today is the 3rd down back of Reed's era.
Reed could play inside or out because he was a big, physical receiver even by todays standards and the outside CB's of his day tended to be smaller and less athletic than they are now. That's a whole "what happened to all the athletes who used to play RB" evolution story, but in short, Reed is not really an apples-apples comp.
This is a great football analysis on the evolution of the game from Reed's era to today. It makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info!-

Yea. McConkey is a slot receiver. He is darn good but he is a slot receiver. Forget the fact that the Bills already had one.... I just never love the value of taking those guys round 1. Unles they are true elite guys (and maybe Ladd is) the positional value is hard to overlook.
I tend to agree with you philosophically. But on the flip side, didn't Andre Reed play mostly out of the slot? Production is production, regardless of where it comes from, right?

There is only one answer… the Chroisen one himself, Gibran Hamdan.
Iirc, on the old bbmb message boards there was at least one poster who advertised a fan group called "Hamdan's Honeys" 🤣 -

2016-2017. Here's a couple. It's what happens when you mix frat guys, beers, and golf carts.
Makes me wonder exactly what box I was under circa 2016-17 lol. -

The danger of putting him before the courts over this is if the courts decide all 20 million illegals have the right to due process. Which is what they want to argue this guy has a right to along with all the others. They don’t. Biden gave blanket protections to all of them per EO. But Trump can’t undo that? Make that make sense.
Wrong. They do. It's spelled out in the Constitution, specifically in the Due Process clauses in the 5th and 14th Amendments.
"No person... shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law...."
Due process is a natural right that all persons are entitled to in this country, not just American citizens. -

Anyone who was not happy with the Josh Allen pick, or actually wanted Aaron Maybin, should automatically be excluded from the list.
I was furious at the wrong Josh pick.
I don't recall wanting Maybin, but I did want Darnold over Allen that draft. Although I was 100% on board when we took our Josh at 7 as he was my definite 1(a) choice.
I thought Mayfield and Rosen had bust written all over them.
And I was gonna add your name, Virgil, but you already disqualified yourself so 😂-

Maybe this is what all the extra linemen are for?-

Moulds would score between "Very Good" and "Elite" on pretty much every category for rating a WR. Size, speed, strength, quickness, agility, catching, blocking, route running, etc.
Jack of all trades, and master of a few. -
As others have said, it's hard not to like this guy.
I also have a soft spot for FBs.-

I know he doesn't get into legal trouble, but I think Spencer Brown is quietly a very violent and frightening man.
It seems that all of the good offensive linemen are a little bit unhinged when it comes to that. It's basically a requirement. -

Funny thing is if he does implement them maga will claim it’s a brilliant move. If he decides to not do it they will claim it’s brilliant negotiating.

Well nedboy7, I think you owe Big Blitz a thank you for proving your point in less than 15 minutes lol.-

A hilarious take on Warren buffets comments on tariffs by Fox News. Warren Buffet likes higher prices! Why not make a real argument as to why tariffs would work. No wonder the maga brain is jumbled. The ***** they watch is amazing. It’s like the idiots on here who mock anything they don’t agree with. “meltdown bro”. “Transgenders”. “Fentanyl”.
This whole tariffs thing doesn't make sense if the Democrats are here to destroy the economy and Republicans are here to save it.
There is near unanimous consensus among economists that tariffs are self-defeating and have a negative effect on economic growth and economic welfare, while free trade and the reduction of trade barriers has a positive effect on economic growth. Tariffs can end up backfiring and harming the industries they were intended to protect through rising input costs and retaliatory tariffs.
The CEOs and big business people understand these things well. They also donated a lot of money to get Trump elected. It wouldn't surprise me if there were a few phone calls made where these experts shared their expertise with Trump, hence the sudden changes of heart.-

What is your education and professional experience that would help you understand what he is saying, rather than just attacking the messenger?

I know this already spun off into its own thing for a bit... but I don't think that's a fair question, @Westside.
Part of being an expert is sharing that expertise with non-experts in a way that they can understand and digest. I'd define non-experts generally as adults with a high school education level, so I do acknowledge there has to be some baseline on the listener's part.
But other than that, it's not on the listener to prove they are worthy of listening to the messenger; I think the burden of expertise primarily falls on the messenger.
Still, at least I'm now aware that @TH3 is a fellow engineer by background! BSCE JD here.-

Interestingly, this deficit also included a huge increase of around $30B in gold bullion imported from Swiss refiners. I think this particular increase is more monetary in nature than an action attributed to tariffs. It could mean many things but exactly what we'll need to wait and see.

The mental part of the game is more important than the physical. If you know the perfect play to call on every down, both on defense and offense you win the game.
Brady appreciated the physical aspect as well:

I've said this a few times already but I'm in the same boat. I agreed with the line of thought that you don't pay for a Running Back. Just Draft another. But James Cook has changed that for me.
Agreed as well. When we drafted Cook in the 2nd, it felt like a gimmick pick based his speed. I didn't think he'd have the size, durability, and overall skill set to be a feature back.
But I'll gladly eat my crow on Cook. He's an excellent back and he's developed very nicely. He has speed but he doesn't rely on it to his detriment.-
