This seems like an over reaction.  I don’t see Beane as lacking a strategy so I am fine with seeing how this plays out.  This will not be the last  move.

  2. As always, a lot will depend on free agency and how the early draft picks fall.  I think there may be an early rush on QBs by the likes of Miami (assuming Tannehill goes as expected) and Denver but sanity may prevail.  That said, here is what I expect to see:

    1.  There will be panic in the streets and a rush to trade up to get a QB before the slim pickins is totally gone.

    2.  The much higher quality group of offensive and defensive linemen are chosen as anticipated and above mentioned teams can move up to get their QB without mortgaging the entire farm.

Either way, I see the Bills in an excellent position to move down and get extra picks on Day 2 of the draft.

  3. Cutting Benjamin was the most logical move to my eyes.   He was targeted often, at least early and the season, and dropped a lot of passes.  That is very bad when you are talking about your #1 WR.  I don't think the dead cap money means much either way.

Clay was dependable once in a while and will be gone next season.

Sadly, both came to Buffalo with high expectations and disappointed severely.

I respectfully disagree... our#1pick should be Jonah Wilson, OT, Alabama, or Trey Adams, OT, Washington.   JMO.  Wisconsin does turn out some great offensive linemen.

Wait...We don't need a WR or 2?  I must be watching the wrong Bills team.

I believe today will be the start of a three game winning streak in the 2nd of the the (4), 4 game quarters of the season leading up to Halloween ? night against the Patriots.

The Titans game is gonna be a tough defensive struggle that I think the Bills pull out on a late FG to win 16-13.

Next Week the Bills travel to Houston to face a very disappointing Texans team who have major holes on the offensive line and secondary and again, the Bills have an excellent chance to hang in a tight, relatively low scoring game winning maybe 24-14 and scoring a defensive TD late to extend the margin of victory.

The following week sends us on the road for the 5th time in 7 weeks to face the Indianapolis Colts.  This Colts team is gritty but talent starved with no running game and a young defense that has less talent and is a couple of years behind the Bills in development.  See we could win comfortably here maybe by 27-17 to move to 4-3 on the season.

Then its home ? on Monday night, ? night against the Patriots and 6 out of our last 9 at home.

It all starts today and I'm ready for some Bills football, how about you?

Great call.  It was definitely a defensive struggle and hope you are right about nest week.

    Very, very true.

We watched the game in your hometown of Rochester yesterday at the Exchange Sports Bar, after  week touring northern NYS.  I thought of you and Like I’ve who also lives there now.  It was fun being around a

bunch of loud Bills fans...but my wife’s Broncos game wasn't being shown.  She wasn’t too happy about that.
