Yeah, the NBA is as dead as ever. I love they're trying to get a little of this side piece hustle called the nfl. Maybe if they actually enforced rules, had discipline and integrity in their league, and stop pandering to the showboat antics that have taken over their league people would care.

I was a huge New York Knicks  fan I remember those Knicks vs Bulls games back in the 90’s  ,

haven’t watched an NBA game in years not even playoffs

It is unreal how history has a way of repeating itself. AB is a unique character but the age old story of quick big money paid to an athlete or celebrity going down the toilet is old and tired.

Hope the guy can find his way through the demons of his life.

Hope Chase Claypool is paying attention and gives everything he’s got to what could be his last opportunity to stick in the NFL , I really believe that  he couldn’t ask to be in a better situation then he’s in right now , he could be a HUGE upgrade over Davis and with Colman on the other side man oh man I guy can dream right 😀 ?!

The more I read about Coleman, the more I like.  It looks like he doesn't take himself too seriously, but he does take the game of football (his job) very seriously.  If a slow 40 time at the Combine is his only flaw, he's going to turn out to be a good one.  He's a physical specimen, he's been very productive in college and appears to be a hard worker and team player who is genuinely excited to be a Buffalo Bill.

But but PBF81 watched YouTube videos on Colman and says it might take 3 years for him to become WR3

I'll throw a wrench into the discussion and say that I think Ray Davis has a chance to take real playing time away from James Cook. As it is, there were times last season where the staff seemed to want to move him to more of a change of pace role and give more snaps to Latavius Murray, but Murray was looking long in the tooth by that point in the season and wasn't up to the task.

I think James Cook's best role -- based on his college career, his size, his skillset, etc -- is as a change of pace, timeshare, 1B kind of guy. I think the way you get the most out of him is to have him split reps evenly with another guy, or even to outright be the change of pace guy while someone else is the starter.

I also think that James Cook is a below average pass blocker. I'm not sure how Ray Davis is in that department, but IF he's a better pass blocker than Cook, that'll be his first ticket to eating into Cook's reps. Beyond that, and just generally speaking, I can see Davis doing more of the 1st and 2nd down dirty work, short yardage and goal line stuff, and Cook being more of the 3rd down back, splash plays guy, and being more involved as a receiver.

I don't think this will happen immediately, by any means. But by, say, week 10, I can see Ray Davis being the de facto starter at running back for the Buffalo Bills.

We finally get a 1000 yard rusher in Cook who also led the team in total yards , and now a forth round rookie will come in and take over as # 1 RB I really doubt that will happen ,

I think it's going to take time on both sides of the ball. I wouldn't expect a defense that swapped out both safeties, lost their CB depth to FA, turned over most of their defensive line and lost their best pass rusher to FA to suddenly light the world on fire at the beginning of the season, either. While they were obviously feeling the wear and tear, you can't replace the experience and communication of Poyer and Hyde on the back end overnight.

If Milano and Bernard are back healthy and will start week one I think our D will be fine

Dumb for him to hold out. I'm sure Miami's FO really doesnt want to give him $50-60M/year.

Maybe that's the issue. The offers from the Dolphins are lower than he expected.

If I were the Dolphins, I'd let him walk. But as a Bills fan I hope he gets himself a big contract there.

Let me ask you this IF Miami would entertain trade offers what do you think Miami could get for him ?

Only half? That means some Bills Fans would have to stay home.

Thursday night game that means Bills mafia will be partying in South Beach until Sunday !

This is perfect IMO. At 8: the team won't be broiled on the sideline like in 22. Yeah it'll be hot and humid but it'll be the same for both teams ... Plus the Bills should still be used to the heat and humidity of a Western NY August.

Miami fanbase is pissed that it’s not a 1:00 pm game and on top of that half of the stadium will be Bills fans

I think so, I think pedigree means alot to OBD. If it looks pretty close at the end of camp I can see McD favoring Gore. Either way, I think Davis, Johnson and Gore fill out the RB room much better than last years room. I'm looking forward to camp battles.

If not for his name he wouldn’t even get an invite , he’s small and slow with the worst RAZ score ever even worse then Brady , i doubt  he makes the practice

    Thanks.

I always love the "comments from league execs and coaches" articles. They're awesome.

Unfortunately, the comments about Coleman and Worthy match my own feelings. And the statement "there is now a big difference in the amount of speed around Mahomes and the amount of speed around Josh Allen". Yep. Not great, Bob.

speed at WR seems to be a huge factor here why aren’t the Dolphins in the conversation since they’ve got two of the fastest WR’s in the NFL ?

The Schedule is likely being officially released this Thursday May 9th, unless the league pushes the date.

    What is our Opener?
What Prime Time Games do you expect?

    I'll guess we open @ INDY 1PM

    Prime Time:

    @ HOU   MNF

    @ BAL    SNF

    vs  MIA   Thanksgiving Night
    vs  SF     MNF
    vs  KC    SNF

    This is a brutal schedule

Bills had a group of receivers that included Diggs and Davis. I’d say that’s better than hockey pucks. We’ve been to the AFCCG once just to get blown out. Now they’re gone and replaced with unproven talents but it’s enough now?

Kincaid and Coleman need to develop into top pass catchers. Also need one of the fast receivers on the roster to consistently stretch the field to clear out the middle. I don’t believe the Bills can win a superbowl without major contributors from the wr position. It’s not the same situation as KC.

We scored almost 30 points without any contribution from  Diggs and Davis  and would have beaten the Chiefs if only our defense did not allow a TD on every drive , we all know why we lost and it’s not because of offense

If Cook plays like he did last season or gets better, we probably have just this year and next year left with him. Davis we have for the next four.

So if he shows some promise and development by the end of next year, he could be our Starter in Year 3 & 4.

If Beane's smart, he won't pay big money to a RB and will continue to Draft them in the mid to late Rounds, use them in their prime and then replace them. Then compliment them with cheaper, older RB's that still have some kick in them (like Gore and Murray) and cheaper, under the radar Backs with upside (like Ty).

I disagree if Cook put up over 1000 yards rushing and 500 -700 yards as a receiver you don’t just replace those kind of numbers with a late round pick or undrafted free agent ,
