  1. No chance, the Bills aren't getting all of this draft capital to build around a guy that they passed on like 5 times in the draft. That should tell you how confident they are in him becoming the guy.

What does his draft status has to do with the actual performance ? theres plenty of QB's that have been passed on like 3 , 4 , 5 and yes 6 times , that doesent tell me $hit

I hope the MVPeterman gets a chance to start THIS year !

I could care less what round he was selected , I'm sure as hell rooting for the kid !!!!

  2. Since you're being cool, I'll respond.

Give me Kearse if he gets released.

Inman, I'm not too familiar with.

Im fine with what we have plus either Reilly or Shorts.

    I think we go...(6)

Matthews,Holmes,Zay,Philly,Tate & then Reilly or Shorts.

If only we had someone who could get them ball !
  3. I was really high on Zay Jones coming out of college. Totally ecstatic that the Bills drafted him. So far this preseason his stats won't blow you away but his maturity, football IQ and route running have really shined through so far. I think Jones can be special. Just wondering what your thoughts on him so far and the entire draft class for that matter. I put together a breakdown on him if you're interested.

As long as T Taylor is the QB will never f&@$n know what we really have in Zay , now that I think about I fully support the Watkins trade , I would even go a step further and make sure I have a QB ( first ) before making any

( major investment in to the WR position ) like using a 1st round pick , or signing any big $ WR 's

  4. nice breakdown...i have always liked Jones...I even said he has the intangibles to potentially be a HOF receiver someday...and even with Sammy on the team, I thought that eventually Zay would take over as the #1 receiver.

With healthy Sammy on the roaster you think Zay would (eventually ) push Sammy to # 2 spot ? Wow
  5. Are we really gonna get worked up in preseason again?

Draft your fantasy teams, have some steak, drink some beer.

I love the Bills just like most of you. Yes they look ****ty at points and they also don't.

    The TE's look promising.

    The D looks promising.

    Shady will be awesome.

    Have you seen Zay?!

    Promising.

I will never turn my back on this team as long as it is in Buffalo.

I cannot wait for this season.

It's a new unknown. Yes, maybe we will suck.

But, we may also retire Brady and re-retire Cutler.

Are we really a bad team?

    I don't think so.

How many beers did you have with that steak ?

  6. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/8/28/16211916/nathan-peterman-rookie-quarterback-buffalo-bills-video-analysis-gif

Some of the throws he made were really really good. The near-interception was obviously the worst one but I bet he doesn't make that mistake again. I think Peterman is looking better every week.

Let's not forget that he didn't really practice with the ones that much , but what was nice to see is him hitting Clay few times ,
  7. 1. We gave up a 2015 1st round pick and 2015 4th round pick to move up and get Watkins. He is gone 3yrs later and missed like 30% of his games.

    2. Cyrus was our 2nd round pick in 2014. He is an abomination.

    3. Our first pick in 2015 was 2nd round pick Darby. He is gone 2 years later.

    4. Our 2nd pick in 2015, 3rd rounder John Miller, is barely a starter and may get beat out by Ducasse, who is horrible.

    5. Our 3rd pick in 2015, 5th rounder Karlos Williams isn't even in the NFL anymore.

So to recap: We missed on our 2014 1st round pick; we gave up our 2015 1st round pick; we missed on our 2014 2nd round pick; we missed on our 2015 2nd round pick; we missed on our 2015 3rd round pick.

The 2014-2015 draft classes have set this team back at least 5 years. A blind monkey could have thrown darts at the draft board and had more success.

The EJ Manual pick is what set us back , we passed on couple of good starting QB's because of it ,

I don't think anyone here would have complained about

    Carr throwing bombs to Watkins

  8. I'm already not a fan of the coach or gm, great coaches adapt to the strengths of his team, these guys want everything done their way, in their system.

Adapt to what strength ? If we were a 10 win team and potential playoff contender I would agree with you , They are rebuilding from the ground up ( through the draft ) for the long haul , I'm not a big fan of the Watkins trade as well but Im pretty sure that if we had a franchise QB on the roaster Watkins would still be here today

I honestly can't reply to this post how I want to, without getting banned.

    Lol hang in there buddy
  9. I don't think anyone is anointing Peterman a "savior". But to my way of thinking we already know (or suspect) Taylor is not our guy going forward, and all we know about Peterman is what we can surmise from a handful of series during preseason. If Taylor starts this season he probably doesn't redeem himself to the point we are comfortable with him leading the team into the future and we are left STILL knowing nothing about Peterman. If Peterman starts, at least we get an indication of weather he can become a viable starter, a valuable backup, or is just another 5th round roster filler.

IMHO, I think that the O-line is our biggest problem to fix, I've never been a fan of the zone blocking scheme, and it seems to me that our O-line coach is incapable of teaching the linemen how to line up let alone how to execute a new blocking scheme.

    I'm with you 100%
  10. Let's just say your understanding of labor and employment laws are overly simplistic, and mistaken. Do you believe the 49ers had the right to cut Kaepernick last year for his actions? Or do you think he would have been protected from such an action under the CBA or California law?

But forget about what's legal: Do you think it's RIGHT for teams to refuse to hire Kaepernick because of his protest against what he perceives to be police mistreatment of African-Americans?

Didn't Kaepernick opt out of his contract?
  11. They are only playing like 5% of rhe offense, and without game planning. You really need to watch one on one who wins, not how the team plays together. Especially when there is a blitz and they have no hot reads installed, because again 5% of offense no game plan.

What would your posts look like with only the letters [K, T, A, N] allowed...well we know for some here it wouldn't be such a huge difference.

What are the one on one matchup's ( in your opinion ) look like were making progress? Specifically on offense.
