This is “ Working Capitalism “

The NFL wields the power to be allowed to continue their monopoly…..

The politicians get taken care of and they pander to those with the fat wallets while they’ll the rest of us what we want to hear….. so long as the money keeps flowing

Well that’s corrupted or crony capitalism. That’s what happens when governments/politicians interfere with the capitalist market, protecting existing entities, creating regulations to block new entities from entering and competing with the market, denying people in the market with free choice.

Its only in these corrupted capitalist systems (ironically created by people who don’t believe in capitalism in the first place) where monopolies that punish their customers can survive.

But that’s just the basics that everyone knows so I’m sure I’m not teaching you anything.

    Are you on FaceBook?

PM me, you can watch the game.

BUT, I absolutely agree with your sentiment!!!!!

This is what Capitalism is. Extricating every last ounce of money from the little guy so the rich can get richer.

Im 100% agreeing with the greed, but this is more an example of monopolies and their unfair ability to ignore the market than it is an example of working capitalism.

Long ways away, but if the Bills win out and the division title is on the line at that Dolphins game, they're going into Miami and they're going to commit assault.  I've not been more confident of an outcome all season.

As for the Dolphins-Jets...didn't the Dolphins lose their starting center last week?  And so some backup is blocking whom?  Quinnen Williams?  What on earth could go wrong for the Dolphins in that scenario?

But if they knock out Tua, we may have to face competent QB play 😁

Inexcusable losses of Pats, Broncos, and Eagles make this season so painful. Even with all the injuries and Josh’s up and down play, they were in position to win all those games. And they just gave them away.

Dallas at home in a must win situation should be a good barometer for this team.

I’d throw Week 1 Jets on top of that “gave away” pile of garbage

Color rush vs Jets is best, Dolphins, they can still use orange and Pats fuhgeddit.

as I wrote it, I was thinking about the color rush and how in those games, all gloves are contrasting colors.

Looked dreadful but was more competitively neutral lol.

I thought I recall this becoming a thing a decade or so ago, and what was decided was that you could wear colored gloves as long as it's part of your team's color scheme. The Bills, being red and blue are within their rights to wear red gloves. Sucks for KC that they have nothing in their scheme to match up with the Bills blue jerseys.

Denver for instance in this game right now, with an orange and navy scheme, I don't think they're allowed to wear powder blue gloves to try to hide the hands against the Lions, but they can (and are) wearing the navy which is as close as they can get.

Yup and if you look at the Lions O, all their hands/gloves are white to blend in with the bronco jerseys.

Makes me wonder if our uniform selections are based on what colors the opposing team cannot match. 🤔

Or maybe that’s part of the home field advantage. Most away uniforms are white, and everyone can wear white gloves. So when you’re away, they can always match your uniform 🤔🤔🤔

I got lynched for saying weeks ago that he looks a little checked out and not 100% in it. Always seems bothered by not being targeted but then proceeds to do very little or nothing with the targets he’s seeing.

Secondly, someone said it best in the GDT; how does Stefon get a pass for drops but Davis and the rest of the gang get burned at the stake?!

There was a hot read that JA clearly was signaling to Diggs. The pressure comes, Josh looks to throw Diggs the quick slant, but he was doing juke moves, doing his own thing.

JA moved on in the progression ultimately resulting is an unsuccessful play.

    Seemed checked out/not focused

Just the fact that it wasn't leaked until four years later is amazing to me.  Especially in the age of social media where everyone has a voice.

Probably because EVERYONE knew how completely f’d up that comparison was.

You know he thought of it in the shower or on the toilet and was like “Eureka! This will REALLY motivate the only Team actually from NY!” 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  9. With their sudden expansion/explosion into the sports betting world and their now close relationship with Vegas, the many terrible, game deciding penalties are starting to look suspicious.

Some say that the NFL is completely clean and on the up and up. Others swear the whole thing is entirely scripted and the lure of Vegas money is too big a temptation to ignore.

The shield doesn’t seem to mind the grumbling, as the revenue has also massively expanded. Sports betting has been good for the NFL.

SPORTS betting…but the NFL isn’t a sport. It’s entertainment. As a matter of fact, betting on entertainment (like the WWE) is illegal in the US.

So the obvious solution is to confront the NFL and tell them that unless they reclassify themselves as a sport, they cannot participate in sports betting.

That should lead to more oversight/management of the refs to ensure unbiased game officiating.

Just a Sat morning thought. I’m sure there are a million reasons why it won’t work, but I’m still feeling salty today, almost a week later. LFG BUFFALO!!

Same here but you can't fart around when you need a TD. It's not a switch you can flip on and off.

You’re right there. It’s just the feeling I got when we lined up in Shotgun after driving down the field, at will, with the running game.

Their D looked completely gassed. I’d have been happy with a 4th and 1 play to end the game. Win or lose.

My 14 yr old son was adamant that McDermott should not have called the time out to ice their kicker. Having two timeouts with twenty seconds left would have been a lot better.

At first I thought be quiet kid what do you know. After the kick I thought, we could really use that second timeout. 😁

Yeah that would’ve changed the entire circumstances of the situation. Maybe your kid should be the HC 😅👍

We all would have been criticizing him if he went for it and missed it.  I think the lack of going for it at the end of regulation though was inexcusable

My comment started out as sarcastic/sardonic but TBH, if he went for it, didn’t get it, if he said he knew the D wouldn’t hold up and determined this had the best odds of winning, I think we all would’ve nodded our heads, knowing he was probably right.

I know we have 20/20 hindsight here, but as mentioned in previous posts, we’ve had 4 previous examples we could’ve looked at yesterday to make the call.

The only thing our D is consistent with is folding when the game is on the line.

Oh and how many Hail Mary’s do we have to fall victim to!?

I knew the Eagles would win or tie when we left 2 minutes on the clock after we took the lead. Because Sean McDermott always goes prevent in these situations. Same in OT.

I was really hoping we’d run the ball down their throats for a few more plays before punching it in. VERY surprised by that call.

That's it. I feel the officiating crew was intimidated and even a false start against Philly after our 9 or 10 straight was met with "you insulted my mother" outrage. Props to the fans but the refs are a bunch of yella bellies if I do say so myself!

TBH, those refs essentially covered for the Eagles the entire 1st half.

Hard to get pumped as a player when you know you will be held to a standard your opponent will be rewarded for not meeting.

When we kicked the FG in OT I thought that realistically our best possible outcome was a tie. There was of course a small chance that we would get a turnover, but an Iggles FG or TD was far more likely. If they got a FG there wasn’t going to be any time left to score again, so a tie.

Exactly! Once the D took the field, I just KNEW it would end the same way all the others did. I was praying for a tie. (Feel gross even typing that)

  15. As soon as we kicked the FG, the game was over. Never once has our D made the game ending stop. If it has, I can’t recall when.

We have better chance to win going for it on 4th and 10 on our own end of the field, hoping for a walk off TD drive than we would letting our D ever take the field needing a stop.
