I'd prefer us to go offense heavy but agree if we can get 4 solid players I wouldn't complain

Watching the Pats implode takes some of the sting out of how we've looked. Still disgusted they beat us

I really don't want to see 17 out there. If they must, one series

I never saw him play but my dad would tell me stories of him carrying defenders into the endzone. RIP

Not that much different than previous seasons. I rely more on pff when it comes to line play because I suck at evaluating it. I don't really understand why people are down on Dawkins when he was our best o-lineman. Pass blocking was in the very good range and run blocking was in the average range. Those aren't pro bowl numbers but they're still slightly above average which is what he is at left tackle.
That’s a fair argument but the way I look at it is he was the best bad player on a bad line. I believe Josh is the best QB in the league and I think it’s a crime he’s “protected” by guys who idk would necessarily start on half the teams in the league.
Like you, I also don’t know how to evaluate linemen properly, but my eye test says they all kind of sucked (except Morse)

Dawkins was pretty terrible this season. Saffold was a joke. Knox flashed as the season went on.

Josh's elbow injury IMO changed the season. He is healthy he makes so many of those throws he missed during the season causing teams to play us different. Teams still feared him, just not the same way they did last year. He will heal up and I believe we are back better next year.

oh wow. that is an ####### move. i'd be surprised if the nfl doesn't go out of their way to make an example of this.
You would think they have to. 1 game and probably a decent fine

Worst case its a simultaneous catch, and the offense would get the ball I believe anyway

Josh Allen is good at football

Met Andre Reed about 20 years ago. He was a complete D-bag. Marshawn Lynch was also a jerk. Lee Evans was a very nice guy and so was Poz

I love how Josh sincerely seems to never know who the next opponent is. Never looking ahead.

Saw an interesting stat that the Cards blitzed Mahomes on 54% of his drop backs and he burned them. Fortunately we have a defensive front four that can create all the pressure needed and drop 7 in coverage. That is the best way to beat Mahomes. Beane and McDermott have built this team with that in mind and have done a great job.
That's a great point. I knew they blitzed him but didn't realize it was that much.

Mahomes somehow looked better without Hill. I am concerned about them. Hope I'm wrong.

If he was the featured back then yes, just think we will be running back by committee this year. He's definitely a solid back in this league and while I do not think he will be a Bill next year, at the right price I would love to see him return.

Stevenson- He showed nothing last year and to my knowledge has been very inconsistent this year.

I really hope he has a Teller like career with another team. Team thought Kumerow was better.
Kumerow makes sense from a special teams stand point. Keeping Marquez Stevenson over him is what I don't get. He's not listed as a KR/PR, surprised they thought he was a better WR the Hodgins

Did you guys know he went to Harvard?!?!?

People will want to come here for a chance at a Super Bowl. As long as we have JA17 that won't change. Plus McDermott is a good coach overall and has taken a floundering franchise and made it into a perennial playoff team and championship contender. Players play to win. McDermott and Allen are winners and that will always attract good players

I'll be happy when I no longer have to see the Mahomes/Rogers State Farm Insurance ads.
And the shampoo one he is in

I created a topic about him a few years ago on here and I’m pretty sure I jinxed him because he was absolutely awful for us after lol. Definitely wish him a happy retirement. Seems like a good guy

I was a kid during the 4 years in a row run, I just thought it was a game we played in every year.
Sign me up for 4 Superbowls, just not the losses. After yesterday, I don't know if adult me could emotionally handle 4 losses in a row. So much respect to the older guys here who really went through it, tough breed!

Great write up. After watching how great Browning was for Cinci I'm not so sure they're ahead of Baltimore if they lose Higgins. I'm really curious to see how Burrow is without so many talented weapons. I also think the Chargers are going to give KC a run for their money next year with Harbaugh. If we can get a stud WR1 who can get us YAC, sky is the limit for us
