Dear OpEd, if I see another called unprotected Josh weak sign wide run on 3rd and 5 I will puke. That’s what he should say. We scored points when we threw not the other way around.
Passing the ball short is like running the ball and we seem to have stopped that.
We use the pass and play action pass to setup the run, not the other way around!!!!!
10 minutes ago, Freddie's Dead said:The Bills had 13 runs to Motor (8, really?), Cook (4), and McKittrick (1). There were 9 runs to Josh, so let's call those 4 designed, 5 scrambles. So with 34 pass attempts, the Bills called 39 passes to 17 runs (2.3x more passes than runs). With the weather conditions today, that's idiotic. Dorsey is ridiculously pass happy, and he needs to rein that ***** in. Today was a really bad day to completely abandon the run, yet he did. Yes, we won, but the balance in this offense was non-existent today. We'll need that to beat the better teams in the playoffs.
False narrative. KC doesn’t win playoff games running, neither does Cinci or Miami. It’s pass first. The Ravens and Titans model is not winning in the AFC playoffs. Only one team will be running the ball and it will be the NFC team in the Super Bowl. Even Philly is pass first.

The coaches are weird about the db's saying even before the season started that Dane earned that spot and someone would have to take it from him. What exactly did he do to earn that spot besides have Wallace walk to a different team? I'm sick of this coaching bias where such and such guy earned their spot. How about best player on Sundays plays? That goes for Shakir over McKenzie too. It should be open competition at every position every week
Except Shakir much like Cook misses blocking assignments all the time which is a major sin and will cut your time in this offense. In means you don’t know your fundamentals. I think they see that in Elam at times too. They refuse to lose a playoff game on a blown coverage so they instead will let Dane blow tackles instead.

So if we win Saturday we can’t clinch the division because even though we are 3 up with 3 games left the next tiebreaker is in division percentage and Miami could be better if they win out and we lose out(4-2 vs 3-3.) So we have to wait until Christmas Eve in Chicago, even if we beat Miami, to clinch our 3rd straight division.

Billionaires have been running this country since the robberbarron years. The moment Reagan de- regd the trust laws it was a given it would stay that way. The dems complain about big business but don’t even force any movement toward competition and the GOP complains about tech but won’t dare force competition. It’s setup for the mega rich to limit competition and rule the country by both parties.

Joe won the Super Bowl. Baker won a game….

I would be tackling people as an OL if I knew I would only cost my team a measly 5 yards and not even loose a down. With a sack you loose a down and more than 5 yards so you might as well hold every down.

The Bills defense over the middle of the field is markedly better when he is there than when he is out. We looked worse in the games he didn’t play this year. He isn’t Ray Lewis, but that isn’t today’s NFL. His giant wing span and range is what allows us to play that 2 LB nickel scheme almost exclusively. I don’t think they want to alter their whole scheme while they’re find another perfect fit MLB. It’s more likely they let someone like Gabe walk because he will be overpaid and he just isn’t earning a $17 million paycheck he could be getting in ‘25. Personally I would sign him to a super long term deal, like 7 years with 3 team voidable, which makes his deal eventually cheap and easy to spread.

The great thing is now McD just need to walk in Monday and say Boys you totally control your own future. Then we have 2 weeks in a row to feed off that with our home crowd in division game energy.

On defense I know the Bengals have trouble when teams have a #1 go to WR, which the Chiefs do not have.
On offense I noticed Burrow threw numerous passes too easily through the spot that Tremaine would be that in no way would be completed against our defensive scheme or would have been tipped/picked. I also think our scheme holds up better against the swings they run to Perine since our LBs and Nickel are much better in coverage. Burrow does’t move of his spot much, which to me makes it easier to collapse the pocket or get a hand up.
So I think they are a very dangerous team, but one I feel we match up against well if we can neutralize big plays, which to me is up to the play of Hamlin, and Dane/Elam/Rhoades.

Just as long as we have time to construct our Miami sideline overhead fan and misting towers to hang over their benches to get their bench the requisite 25 degrees cooler than ours in code with the Miami weather playbook.

Hey I finally found a thread on quiet quitting. Now I understand it.

Look I am 54 years old have live in Buffalo my whole life and I miss the Buffalo Braves to but to blame it on John Y Brown or Paul Snyder isn’t the real reason the Buffalo Braves moved. Nor was it Canisius College basketball Father Demske fault. It was our Western New York business community and local political leaders they didn’t care like a lot of things that is why we are the way we are. They couldn’t sell 5,000 season tickets so the Buffalo Braves couldn’t break the new long term lease they signed a year or two before making them stay here we made it easy to leave.
Again Buffalo Braves tickets were dirt cheap like $6 and $9 dollars a ticket. Like with a lot of things in Western New York like the new Buffalo Bills stadium as an good example today we don’t make good economic decisions. Again $10 times 5,000 seats and no one did a thing to save the Buffalo Braves $50,000 a year and the Buffalo Braves are in Buffalo in 1978-79 we get to the Magic, Bird and Jordan years when the NBA took off surpassing NHL hockey. Just like in 1970 when the Buffalo Bisons IL baseball moved after 93 years who does that? That was one of the biggest disgraces in Buffalo sports history that should never have happened. Ron Jaworski Stadium takes a new Buffalo professional softball team in 1976 but 6 years before wanted no part of the International League Buffalo Bisons that were here for 93 years ridiculous so Buffalo. The land of economic idiots.
How stupid are some of the people in our community? Well the Buffalo Courier Express union turned down the deal the Buffalo Courier Express had with Rupert Murdoch to save the newspaper again who does that. Then you are all out of a job. Those writers ran off to other cities newspapers and screwed this community of jobs again selfish behavior run away take the easy way out by running away. Too much of that goes on still today. Not as bad as in past but it still happens far too often. Buffalo is and will always be left behind until we stop making cheap stupid easy way out decisions.
The Buffalo Convention Center renovations are a disgrace of cheapness. That should have been the Buffalo Bills stadium/Convention Center down town but this community continues to be stuck on stupid. UB needs a new football stadium. If you say no they don’t BSF? Look at San Diego State a Group of Five FBS football team like UB Bulls new stadium then look at UB Stadium it is a disgrace. And we wonder why Buffalo sports fans hate that stadium the sight lines are the worse in major college football it is a disgrace. Again downtown UB Bulls football could have joined the Buffalo Bills with the convention center tie in but we are still stuck on stupid in Western New York in my opinion. Go Braves-Clippers! Let’s Go Buffalo
I appreciate your perspective as a lifer in the area. I am almost the same age but moved in my mid 20s so I just kept seeing what was happening in other cities I lived in and kept seeing unfilled promises being made in a Buffalo for Baseball, the Peace Bridge, the failed aud revitalization, and multiple city projects that never amounted to anything or to much less than promised decades later. I lived in cities that radically invested in waterfront changes. It’s honestly been disheartening to see how slowly both Buffalo and Niagara Falls have taken to change over the last 30 years. The hockey arena is downright basic compared to other cities and there is no plan in place to fix that either. The UB stadium feels like a track stadium and has no game day feel. I agree the Bills and UB should have had a unified stadium but any college campus would want the games on campus, so you would need the games in Amherst. I don’t ever think there was a serious discussion about a Bills stadium in Amherst and there in no real Serious transport to UB Amherst. Many entertainment venues like Kleinhans are falling apart and many major concert tours also that are just choosing not to go play at the arena these days. In general the area facilities aren’t very good including the convention center. If it weren’t for the generosity of the Pegulas and local university and medical investments, who knows what would be going on downtown.
I don’t agree that putting a stadium in the City would be great revitalization unless it was a mixed use stadium/convention/ hotel complex that hosted a ton of events kind of like New Orleans does. Frankly Buffalo does not have enough to do to warrant that kind of multi billion dollar structure year round and taxpayers can’t fund it.

We were the poor family that got to see many Braves games high up in the Oranges @ TheAud with our free tickets from saving Dairylea milk cartons.
Was it League Lawyer David Stern thar came up with the idea to screw Buffalo when the Celtics wanted to move to San Diego? Stern brokered the deal where Braves owner took over the Celtics and Brown, the Celtics owner took over the Braves... Then Brown moved them to San Diego. Why, I also can't stand the Celtics too...
There ain't no kind words for all parties involved with this dirty dealing and community stealing. @ Buffalo's economic nadir too. Despicable... They had plans to then move into the Toronto market a decade later...
Why, I will never get into the NBA really again.
I agree. I live in Chicago and dabble in watching games and going to a few but it is hard to invest in the NBA after watching how they screwed us.

Gotta figure the #1 question in all this is Dallas. They want to sign Lamb to a big contract and we want to sign Davis. Lamb earned big $$ and Davis really hasn’t yet. So they really can’t offer anything other than a 1 year deal to OBJ yet we can offer a 2-3year deal which is what he wants. I bet it will be term that makes it happen as a deciding factor if he picks here. It depends on whether Jerry is willing to offer more $ and for more term OR if OBJ is all about the bigger media market and just takes the 1 year anyway due to arrogance.

I rewatched the Lions game and multiple times he was wide open in 3rd downs and they just won’t go to him. He just doesn’t have the confidence.

This is the guy who broke my heart as a little kid by selling off our favorite basketball players so he could kill our attendance to justify moving our team. Not feeling remorse for his death. Sorry not sorry.

What a momentum and game changing weird play. He was down but they can’t see it.

If there was a start to a game you wanted, this was it. Now it’s time to keep Cousins guessing and roll a safety blitz at him. He is really poor on the road when he is rattled.

That Munich stadium was completed this year for 800 million US and it is nicer than what we are building. Is that due to legislation. Nope.

Miami is giving up 32 points per game on the road and 15 points at home. So we are at a disadvantage at home???
Tua will be good for multiple turnovers. My instruction to our young DL is just stick your arms up every play. The kid is Flutie height and doesn’t move much. Batted and tipped balls galore.
