NFL has ranked Barkley 27/32 today for what it is worth.
That list is utterly laughable. It has Geno Smith in the top 12 and Tim Boyle, a QB who has thrown 4 NFL passes in the top 20. You just need to read the comments about some of the QBs to know how bad it is. The Henne one for example is just absurd.
I'm genuinely surprised that article passed the editorial process

Ironic. Atlanta lost a draft pick and fined for doing it, then get asked to by the league a few years later.

For context, $14M salary this year would make Milano the 12th highest paid LB in the league. Even excluding guys on their rookie deals still, Milano is not close to being the 12th best LB in the league.
But in terms of value to a team, he is close to it. The Bills system is one of the most LB dependent in the entire league

Only if you release more qualifying FAs than you sign. So you'd need to release a lot more players than just Milano

All the talking heads know is that Dawkins is getting $60 million on a 4 year extension. They have no idea if that is $15 for the four or $12.2 for all five.
It absolutely can't be 12.2 a year because he was under contract for this year. And no player has a 0 dollar contract.

Yeah, but they don't know any more about the deal that either you or him.
I'll let people judge the probability of all of them being wrong and 1 person on a forum being right

2020: Year 1
2021: Year 2
2022: Year 3
2023: Year 4
2024: Year 5

Not even sure what you mean. He is making 12.2 for the next 5 years.
Go look at any of the local journos twitter feeds, or the likes of spotrac

Not according to the journos and cap tracking sites he isnt. You got it wrong he is making just over 15m a year

He has this year left at 1 million cash. It's an extension, not a new contract.
The money is the extension not the total. Its about 15m a year not the 12m you suggested

So it's good but not top LT money. Seems about right, he is a good LT but not in the superstar level

5 years, 61 million
12.2 average
12th in league for LT. Tied with a guy like Tyron Smith from Dal, or Eric Fisher from KC
Its 4 years not 5

Where does this rank as far as highest paid LTs?
About 6m a year less than Laremy Tunsil got.

Buh Bye Duke Williams and Robert Foster
Foster make sense to keep on the Practice Squad. Williams less so.

Good to hear. I would think both have a shot to make the roster or possibly protected on the practice squad.
Davis is basically a lock. Very very few round 4 picks get cut.

Sounds like they are ready to take Duke Williams roster spot. His social media fans won't be happy.

And that's one of the reason there wouldn't be a trade market. That's expensive in a year with a potential cap cut.

You don't think the team might just have tried that route before they cut him?

Are there any that we’re expecting based on health/family members health?
Also, I can’t help but wonder about what others have said..... are these guys going to avoid going anywhere and self quarantine and get tested for the duration of the season? It almost seems like being in the facility has its advantages for avoiding this.
Reid Ferguson's brother was put on the Dolphins IR Covid list

Hopefully they'll cut Randy Moss, sorry, Duke Williams just for the sheer entertainment value on social media.

I’d be surprised to see anyone other than Diggs and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they snubbed Tre. Times are a changing but I still don’t think we get love as having any top players.
Hyde was in the 60s as a Bill in 2018,so he's a virtual lock. Same with White, you don't get 1st team All Pro at a high profile position and not get on the top 100

In the latter half of the season he was becoming a massive threat, it's a bit high but with recent games in mind, it doesn't surprise me

I think revolt is completely the wrong word to use.
The players are the ones taking the risks if they play, and when you look at how strict the sporting pre cautions are for sports like soccer, cricket and f1 in countries with far fewer infections, you can understand why they are taking a stand.

it's basically a 2 year deal. Nothing to stress over
I'm not stressing over anything. I'm laughing at a really bad deal by an over hyped team who got lucky with Tannehill having a half decent run of games.

It doesn't make sense for the Titans. You are paying top price, with no idea of how bad the financial situation will be next season and a seriously good rookie just drafted. Very few recent big contracts have been worth the money. They should have just kept the tag.
Lack of legit backup QB may be Bills' 2020 Achilles heel

Barkley has actually put in credible performances in the last 5 years unlike half that list.
The top 6 makes sense. Then it's a joke.
Smith, Flacco, Henne, Daniel, Siemian. 11 to 15? When was the last time any of those did anything? Barkley is no worse than any of those based on performances in the last 5 years.
It shows that numerical lists of these sorts are really really pointless. They should group them into types of players and have a few standout names at the top and bottom.
Then you get the likes of Kyle Allen at 21. A guy who actually looked competent in games recently. He should easily be top 10.
Beyond the top 6. You would get a better ranking if you just selected names at random
