Bag of Milk was just jacked up on this trade and discussion. Everybody's good. Let's just enjoy the day it's been a hell of a good one.

I'm a little agitated from a long day of dealing with useless internet tech support.  Long week of it really.  Just had to power cycle my modem for the second time today on a brand new modem.

That said, no actual signs of tampering yet, nothing to see here lol.

    You are just slow.

I am in my 50's and my college roommate IS a current NFL agent (who has represented many ex Bills players)

He, as all other agents have been working the phones for quite awhile setting up parameters for deals

. Some...wink..wink are agreed to in principle already.

Quality of posters is low because people don't  want to bother spoon feeding mouth breathers like you. Go Bills!

Jeeze, I've been called a dick on a number of occasions for my attitude, and even I think you're being a bit too much of a dick.  Take the troll train elsewhere.

  3. If a friend of a friend of mine overhears a coach in a private conversation say "Boy, I'd sure like to sign John Doe for $5M a year", and I happen to think Mr Doe would actually take that deal, that's not tampering on that team's part.  That's just third party hearsay speculation.  Nothing in that vague, unsourced tweet indicated any sort of tampering.

    It's a very good idea.

It is  important to me. And it is very interesting to track all this Qb action.

1ManRaid are you one of the sort of posters who just hops in to shoot down other posters with smark alec remarks?

    Don't be that.

It was honest question, don't get your panties in a twist with the random baseless assertions.

(but since you got snarky yourself...)

The rest of the list is going to be teams who aren't ours, signing players who weren't ours, what about that warrants a pin?  Are we going to have a pin for every defensive tackle who gets signed?  We need those too!  How about the centers?  The linebackers?  Hey, I saw a tweet about some Raiders fan having buffalo wings for lunch, and that's related to us too because we also like wings, right?  Pin that!

If I'm more interested in trades of draft picks, than you are in the trades of players, will that get pinned instead?  Or is there some sort of importance hierarchy at play in determining which transactions of other teams who are not us getting pinned on a forum for a team that IS us?

    (snark off)

You believe there is no logic to the fact that we have laws which prohibit vendors from not treating customers equally in consumer transactions, and that they might be evenly applied to situations in which vendors are looking to not treat customers differently in consumer transactions?

There's also the simple exercise of considering the logical extreme.  Could a case be conceivably made (not likely to happen, but still POSSIBLE) for say a religious reason someone has to live somewhere, which happens to be outside of your "local sales area", requiring you to make an exception in their case?  Yes, so that would be an unenforceable policy in the first place.  It wouldn't be fair to everyone else for THAT person to be able to get tickets based on their religion when they can't.  The policy could then also be abused, with anyone able to claim they live where they do for some nebulous, legally protected reason.

    *edit*

Basically in many cases that kind of practice is sort of -technically- legal, but fans would have a legal argument to take them to court.  This issue has come up many times in the past in other states.

  6. Huh,  I was actually going to get season tickets this year because I finally have the funding to do so.

I live literally just across the border in Canada.  It was nothing for me to hop over the border to watch the playoff game at Sports City Pizza Pub on Niagara Street, and then finally make the visit a couple weeks later to the original Duff's for wings.  But I guess I'm not a real enough lifelong fan to make the same hop over the border for more Bills games, which I've been attending from time to time on a single game basis.

I agree with the Jax or Denver prognosticators.

If money was the sole motivating factor Cleveland or the Jets would be my answer, but I have to believe Cousins wants to win, and win soon. Until they prove they are not hot messes (and I am sure there are whispers amongst players that we never hear stating who is on the rise, who is on the decline so maybe they are not as bad as they appear to me), I just do not see either of those places as a landing spot. I could be 100% wrong, but if winning is a choice-factor, I do not think I am.

We made the playoffs and would have beat Jax if we had a QB that didn't keep overthrowing receivers.

Yep I'm a keyboard. If your princess Canadian something something... Whatever the laws are regarding maple syrup in Canada... She doesn't understand the law of free speech. You can yell fire in a crowded theater. That is the plain and simple truth, what don't you understand?

If your friend understood law, which they probably didn't get an American Education in laws they might not know of the United States Supreme Court analogy of screaming fire in a crowded theater... But it is when you falsely scream fire that is illegal. This has been a metaphor in the championship of free speech in this country for a long time... Maybe not in make-believe Canadabut I have no idea what they do up there besides Terrance and Phillip

Oooh, I'm supposed to be shocked and insulted by your harsh words.  I'm ever so sorry to question your omniscient authority on these matters.  Carry on yelling at people on the internet.

    I called myself an idiot

Well then it sounds like your criminal prosecutor needs and education in freedom of speech.

Uh yeah, that education was called law school.  She's a crown prosecutor for the Canadian government.  I'm going to trust her assertion on matters of law over that of some random message forum keyboard warrior.
