Not saying it is, but that weird lighting makes it look photoshopped.

DK Metcalf in the top 10 would not have been smart. And him making a couple of nice plays in Seattle does not change that
31 other GMs would have laughed at us for burning a top 10 pick on the guy who ended up going with the last pick of the second round. Oliver was the consensus BPA by a wide margin and 31 other GMs would have made the same pick especially with the retiring Kyle Williams. I guess Joe is just smarter than all of them.
DK's catching 47% of the balls thrown at him, and his inflated yards per catch average came against three of the worst pass Ds in the league including a meaningless 54 yard desperation bomb at the end of a half against New Orleans' swiss cheese defense. He's a walking ligament tear waiting to happen and already had a knee operation in the preseason to nobody's surprise. Competent defenses will catch on to him being "the big fast guy" who could only catch less than half his targets against weak coverage.
I'll take the BPA DT already playing at a Pro Bowl level (despite "BUT TEH STATS") all day long when we're desperate to get pressure on Brady. Adding another speed receiver (one with glaring weaknesses to boot) to a team that already had Brown and Foster wouldn't have the same impact.
*edit*
I can't stand when guys have ridiculous biases without trying to look at the whole picture especially if it's based on cherry picked stats. Dude didn't even know that Hockenson was already off the board as well. Took him longer to ask about it than it would have to Google it and not look silly.
It's the morning and I'm cranky with a headache.

Pats run game has been weak through three games. They're down starting LT, C, and FB. WRs and TEs are walking wounded. Crash the line and we have a chance.

Melvin Gordon returning to Chargers on Thursday
Posted by Charean Williams on September 25, 2019, 7:01 PM EDTChargers running back Melvin Gordon is ending his holdout.
He will report to the team Thursday, Ian Rapoport of the NFL reports.
Gordon will not play this week.
Reports earlier Wednesday indicated the end of Gordon’s holdout was close, and PFT reiterated Gordon needs to be on the roster for eight games to satisfy the final year of his contract to become a free agent.
The Chargers rank 13th in rushing offense, and Austin Ekeler is their leading rusher with 38 carries for 160 yards and two touchdowns.
Thanks for reminding us that this non story of a non Bills player continues to be a non story.

Oliver wasnt hyped up as Aaron Donald, it was said he had Aaron Donald tendencies (could be compared to).
Aaron Donald is such a beast & dominant player, that not even Aaron Donald would be compared to Aaron Donald if he were being drafted.
Dude is just that good.
On a side note, its a good thing we drafted him instead of an offensive guy, bcuz we'd really be screwed right now with Harrison Phillips injured.
I like Ed & think he's been solid & cant wait to see what he turns into.
Except that the chain of events that led to Harrison getting injured wouldn't have happened.

My deal with this dude is that I don't think we should have drafted him with a need for offensive weapons. I'm warming up to him, but I'm not ready to consider him ANY kind of game changer at the moment.
I guess collapsing pockets and beating double teams doesn't "change games".
I guess signing multiple new WRs/RBs/O-linemen/TEs, drafting a RG/RT, RB and two TEs, isn't addressing the offense.
I guess this is REALLY about being butthurt about not getting the guy YOU wanted, right?

Vegas does the spread based ion who they think the money is going be on and making it large enough get money on the other team.
So you're saying I should wait for the line to inflate from everyone betting on the Pats' "easy win"?

Pats D is only #1 because they played the weak Steelers, tanking Dolphins, and Jets 3rd QB.
They are also down their starting LT, C, FB, two TEs, 1st round WR is on IR, and top two WRs are playing hurt. Their running game has been weak, we'll be the best pass D they play, and our O is at least better than what they've played so far.
I'll take the 7 points at home, thanks.

We have won against the NY Jets , NY Giants and the Bengals
DIVISION : We sweep Miami and looks like we may sweep the NY Jets . For now I hope I am wrong but we will be swept by the Pats 4 wins against the division :
NFC : I think we can go 3-1 Most likely win against the Redskins , the Eagles are not as good so we have a good shot I am expecting a loss against the Cowboys
NON DIVISION AFC : Denver and Cleveland should be 2 wins maybe the Titans ?( Cleveland could be tough it depends if they show up but we should be able to handle them )
our losses will be 2 times against the Patriots , Steelers , Ravens , Cowboys and perhaps we lose a game we should win and a game we win we should lose
I am gonna say 9-7 or 10-6 or at best 11-5 and most likely a wild card playoff spot
I'm trying to figure out your math of 9-7 based on what you said. Even assuming...
- Losses 2x NE, Dallas, Baltimore, and somehow the 0-3 Rudolph led Steelers and it seems the 1-2 Titans...
You say we should beat the rest which would be 10-6.

We should only be underdogs in four remaining games, so I'm thinking we get an upset in one of those, and hopefully only drop two games against teams we are favored against, to finish 11-5. Even if things don't go to plan, 10-6 should still get us in.

It's still right on the front page...

By scoring more points than them.

And then the Bills beat the Vikings for the largest betting line upset in NFL history...

The Chiefs would go to the top of the power rankings. New England would stay in the top five, and pundits will start talking about New England gaining revenge later in the season. Buffalo will move up and might make the top five in some power rankings. They should make top 10 in ESPN's.
I think USA Today might even throw us a bone and give us back the #10 spot! They only dropped us 2 spots for beating the Bengals after all.

We know NE with BB will game plan to take away your best option and force you for other options to win the game.
so that being said after 3 weeks. I have to think Smoke will be the one taken away and maybe the intermediate passing game.
so does this week open up for a Beasley and deep ball offensive game plan this week?
So taking away Brown...opens up the deep ball? Isn't he supposed to be our primary deep threat?

They dropped SF too. I guess barely beating a winless, injury-depleted AFC North team at home doesn't have the same cachet that it used to.
Guess the Patriots should be down in the teens for their 0-9 opponents including the injury and trade depleted Dolphins and Jets.

No it's not less hassle. I'm curious... how old are you?
There is nothing wrong with the league's "push for mobile". This has been how staples center games have been for a long time now. I've never seen an issue there. Fans need to get with the times.
What the hell would my age have anything to do with it? It's literally tap a button in the same app you can use to buy the tickets, and done. You already have your phone on you so how is it NOT less hassle than printing separate paper tickets and your printer won't print black and white because it is supposedly low on yellow ink, or the "smart" printer refuses to work because it detects a refilled cartridge.

Then rankings would really be pointless. That would just be the NFL standings. These guys are paid to have some opinions and we dont have to agree with them all.
If we play NE tough I would bet money we barely move in the rankings and could actually gain spots in ones that have us lower.
Teams records is called the standings. Rankings attempt to be something different.
Undefeated is undefeated. Reorder amongst the undefeated teams fine, and be more subjective with the rest.

Played KC tough. If the Bills lose to NE by 3 or less and some other team barely beats MIA how should the rankings adjust?
If you win to stay undefeated, you AT LEAST maintain your spot.

When we beat New England and go to 4-0 USA Today may drop us three more, to #15.
Well of course, our opponents before NE were something like 1-8, and NE was understandably rusty after only playing teams that were 0-9. Beating NE in their state doesn't even really count, plus sources tell me Brady had a lash in his eye.

Meanwhile, the Ravens lost and gained two spots.
Just shows the only real use for power rankings is to show which news outlets have which biases.

JLO and Shakira to perform Super Bowl halftime show

2014 was a big year for Shakira.
In 2014, Shakira became the first musical act to perform three times at the FIFA World Cup.[85] In the same year, Aleiodes shakirae, a new species of parasitic wasp was named after her[132] because it causes its host to “shake and wiggle” [133]
Her mentioned 2018 Grammy was best Latin pop album.
In all seriousness though, she was the mother of all crushes for me as a teen, and she will still have my interest at halftime.
