  1. I believe Whaley should and will be fired after this coming season , he is loser and is putting together a hot garbage roster. Signing garbage players that no other wants. I mean why did we waste so much for (2) fullbacks? and yet no WR'S?

This loser should have been canned with REX, i believe Russ saved his butt to save face. Russ Brandon was the football fool who first gave this moron a chance and we are seeing the results. Team is a car wreck, this a passing league and we have no quality DB'S OR any depth at WR.

Holes everywhere and Whaley signing no name losers.

....sure sounds to me like you could be a premier GM candidate from that big "huff 'n puff" keyboard you're pounding there son.....

    ....consider sending your resume' to:

Attention: Desperate Need of a GM

  2. Im not anti doug im dougs results stink. I think hes giving forth max of HIS abilities but some people arent cut out to be GMS. He should and would do better as a proplayer scout somewhere.

Excellent rational so Whaleys true credit to fame rests soley on a highly blackballed guard that noone would take a chance ona nd another gms sillyiness of calling whaley and wanting to dump mccoy. Been with the billssince 10 and been a gm since 13. 4 years two moves directly(if u want to call that) based on whaleys ability. Still no capable wr other watkins.

  3. Whaley had literally nothing to do with Shady. Another team called wanting a draft choice he said pick a player. If you think that warrants giving credit to the gm well that speaks volumes of your inability to be honest in an egfort to prop Whaley up. I suppose some credit is due for signing Incog, albiet he was black balked for bullying and noone gave himor was giving him a chance. I mean if we are being honest maybe he can go get anyother blackballec player every three years and we might have a team in three decades.

....my, my, our anti-Dougie nylons are certainly in a bunch........Philly came calling and he put names into the hat, selecting Kiko.....and the deal was done....it was a "lucky draw" seeing Iggles dumpd him on Miami......and he's been a healthy stud......thanks.............

  4. I understand and grasp the difference from state and federal. What I was tring to portray in regards to that are twofold:

    One influence

Two do teams not play at least 8 games away in another state that could or could not be illegal to have marijuana?

Just a matter if time when one of these players have marijuana on their person traveling with the team because they came from a state where its legal and boom..

...that my friend is one helluva question.....but I still think it goes back to your employer's (ie. NFL team following NFL rules) condition of employment whether you play for the Broncos where it is legal in Colorado or not....yet here is the dichotomy......I am pretty sure players have to pay taxes on 1/16 of their prorated salary as a non-resident when playing a game in a non-resident state....so if the Fins play in Pittsburgh, 1/16 of a player's salary is subject to non-resident PA state withholding as well as local taxes in the Steelers' county of venue.....keep in mind Florida has zero state or local taxes.....how effed up is that?....your accountant has to file NINE state tax returns, one for your home state as well as the other nine you played in...........

  5. Isn't Groy a free agent ? Has he been resigned ?

    ...tendered...........

...how the hell could you NOT like a guy named Vladimir?....Trump would be proud (LOL)...hope he fares better than "Tank" Carder or my favorite, "Rootin' "Tutan" Reyez.....

  6. Thomas was the #1 TE nationally coming out of HS.... http://www.hokiesports.com/football/players/thomas_logan.html

I see a tremendous upside there considering he played the position at a high level already so it's not like he's learning a new position, I don't see any downside to him being here as a TE, if he fails it was a cheap option that didn't work out.

...with that size and speed, this kid could be a sleeper.....Meatball's success as a 5th rounder was our last sleeper....LOOOOOONG overdue.......

  7. Thats the whole problem, its already not sllowed and players still do it, why relax the rules of the NFL, so the situation can be takennadvantage of? I get your point, however, its legality federally, and restrictions in some states , coupled with the league and players unions agreed terms makes it so hard to believe there will be a change, and rightsully so. Other people ahouldnt be unduly put at risk for someone else's want to partake of a drug.

...legality wherever has no bearing.....an employer has the right to make it a condition of employment regardless.....in many cases, the Federal minimum wage is far less than most States....States can set a higher wage legally but cannot be less......so if pot is legal in your state, individual employers have the right to set more stringent requirements unless of course for medical reasons....

  8. Is there a reason to keep spitting on the kid's grave?

    Indy:

...we're "old dawgs" and probably don't get "IT".....knowing you as I do, your goals and aspirations were to enter the medical field which you did....and I'd bet your are substantially successful....any haters that hoped you'd fail in your quest?......maybe the jealous ones NOT capable of pursuing such a lofty career.....so why the hatred for EJ, a young kid hoping to reach his dream of being an NFL QB, with large excrements praying he fails?.....jealousy because they have no ability to pursue such a dream?....society built on respect has gone to hell with the advent of keyboard pontificators and their cowardice.....I prefer the old school way of respect.....good Lord how far we have fallen........repugnant............

  9. No harm, no foul...in addition to your point my biggest fear is Whaley's ego...he was so dead set that his superior knowledge and research had led him to EJ as our QB that it clouded his judgement...acquiring another QB to compete with EJ seemed out of the question to him, as it would bring into question his judgement on selecting EJ in the first place...therefore, he would settle for lesser talent at the QB position (Jeff Tuel and Thad Lewis) until he was forced by Marrone to get Kyle Orton, and then forced by Rex to get Matt Cassel and Tyrod Taylor...None of the Bills HCs wanted EJ, yet Whaley thought he knew better...and because of that, it has taken longer to find our franchise QB.

...and that my friend is a great point...Whaley went out and got Cassel only to trade him which caused Roman to go ballistic according to folks I know who are "in the know"....I think Greg's attitude went south thereafter.....that word EGO is a painful reminder......DonoHOLE HAD to be named El Presidente, the first in OBD history to fuel his ego.....he was a control freak who wanted total say over personnel, forcefeeding HIS choices to cheap underling, subordinating HC's like Greggy Williams....YOU make it work....a hugely successful (COUGH) era...funny that I met him outside a local restaurant after TC for a smoke and he seemed like a pretty good guy to talk to......Wrecks was a terrible hire but I think Whaley feared him NOT conforming....thus his control could be in jeopardy.......HOWEVER, I think the tide has turned with McCoach......no way in hell are you going to tell me I am responsible for between the white lines BUT YOU will tell ME who is playing between those very lines.....I'd grab my hat and coat and head for the nearest exit...Pegula is smart enough to recognize that and if Whaley doesn't play ball according to TP's rules, he'll be at the bus station with EJ....stay tuned.........

  10. As of now we have Sammy, Listenbee, Clay and OLeary as targets. Make every effort to sign Hunter and Tate. Add Davis, Howard or Zay Jones in the draft. Then maybe a budget FA like Anquan Boldin? Let's face it, we're running 65% of the time anyway, whether you like it or not....

There's no way we should let Hunter get away...

....I agree.....has the size....TT was beginning to develop a rapport WHEN and IF he spotted him.....only has had one visit so I'm guessing the price would be right.............

  11. Derek Carr and Jimmy Garappolo say hello...both much better prospects coming out of school and were there for the taking...if, for nothing else, at least as an insurance policy on EJ- kinda like what Washington did.

...my apology....thought you were talking about the scrap heap......the woeful OBD ineptitude with the QB spot since Kelly is mind boggling.....with the turnstile FO and administrations, you'd think SOMEBODY would hit.......these clowns haven't been able to hit the water from the boat......

  12. QBs with less powerful arms need elite accuracy to compensate. Brees and Montana certainly have/had that. Watson does not at this point in time. It's actually more of a concern with him.

Like any other attribute, one thing doesn't determine the success or failure of a player. Certain attributes don't improve a player's chance of success if they are well above the accepted minimum threshold - velocity is one of those. But in a case where a player lacks in one important area it can prevent his success. That's the concern here.

.....thought I read most of the combine reports were lauding Watson's "precision and accuracy"......??.............
