I had a feeling, but Googled to confirm, I am out.

I have no idea... I'm pretty much out too.

Only other person I could guess is that country rock singer who's name is Chris something.

Found it interesting (I'm being kind) that a FB friend of mine in Florida went out and bought a new car out of boredom yesterday.

What state do you live in and are dealerships closed?  Are DMVs closed in your state?

Most of the DMV stuff can be done online, not sure how that works with a new vehicle though. I'm in Florida and I "think" they waived off renewals for now.

No.  A bank with a Cleveland-Buffalo connection.  Just confirming that it is happening and that at least one bank a lot of Buffalonians have mortgages with is on it.  Just might take a little while to work through the details of setting it up, but it is coming as fast as they can get it done.

I see... thanks for the clarification.

My wife has been WFH and has been on conference calls today discussing exactly this.  She just told me about it.  Lots of moving parts to get it implemented, but it’s a huge priority.

Not exactly sure what you are saying here... Wells Fargo?

Even though I can't play any of my old recordings it is still hard to part with it.  I think the last time I tried was about 10 years ago.

It is amazing how heavy a box with 30-40 tapes is.  I forgot how heavy they were.  Gee, metal coated, who would have thought.?

Albums are heavy too... dreaded moving back when, had over 10,000. Around 1k now though, sold most of that too. You can still buy blank reel tape and just record whatever you like. Sometimes the factory cases are worth more than the tape itself from the old ones.

I still have a Sony deck.  The main problem is when I play tapes from the 70's, which is all of them, all the oxide ends up on the heads.

Yeah... I think that no matter how well you store them its simply the age that causes them to degrade. I sold all of my factory tapes years ago. The ones I recorded myself got ruined during hurricane Elana so I have none... but I still have the deck.

Liquor laws vary greatly by state, but the 3 states I’ve lived in the last few decades sell beer AND wine at grocery stores. (Although SC used to have mini bottles of liquor in bars, so backwoods!) That works for me. Wine only in liquor store would require far more planning, and a shift to more beer and less wine. That messed me up on recent trips back to WNY for games.

Who would get on a cruise ship right now? I mean, even if they promised my unlimited drinks package on a 3 night cruise would be in effect for the entire quarantine......then you may have a bargain!

Grocery stores have too stay open, right? They sell beer and wine here. Oh, and they used to sell toilet paper too. I can improvise on the TP better than the beer and wine. I’d estimate 80% of my closet belongs at Goodwill, but I’ll keep it for now.

Actually no... I expect them to all close down soon due to lack of employee's... the call out rate is incredible. Dropped 130 on supplies this am that will easily last a month. Tomorrow is the beer run.
