2%? You should update your priors. There’s been a lot of new information since 1950.

Note their numbers for the overall population and the numbers reported by younger people who are increasingly feeling more comfortable to report such things. You may be off by a factor of 10.

Or, younger people trying to fit in or belong to Something because they have horrible parents... if they even have that. I suppose it's the same as religion... just trying to hang with the in crowd. Even if you're not gay... they will for sure take you in.

Really you think all the straights in the scout troop are hiding their orientation from their friends and family. 🤔

The straights don't even mention it, there is nothing to hide. They don't promote it.

Hell— I’m a Scoutmaster with my son’s Boy Scout troop, and we have openly gay scouts.

How many openly heterosexuals do you have in the troop? Probably none. The 2% of the population, at best, strives to let themselves be known though. It's funny to me actually. I'd like to see them get their Bull Riding award... it's a zinger.

You should bring your troop down to St. Pete in Florida this weekend.... a whole bunch of colors in the parade, they should just Love it.

People Need to learn to love and respect others regardless of differences. Isn't that what diversity is?

No it isn't. No one has to accept the beliefs of others... no matter the topic. Respect for whatever someone else believes, sure.. but to use the word love... no. Oh no. No person "Needs" to accept any of this but they can if they want to.

Joe likes relish on his hamburger. Most don't but Joe has it his way, no problem. Miracle whip lovers and haters... it's a diverse crowd.

I suppose it is if you are a cultist who hates logic.

They don't think at all.  They let people like Ole Tuck, Hannity and cat shite to think for them.

Cultist, hoax, etc.... how many names can be invented? 25 people need to know, according this tiny part of the world. This part of the tiny world that sits on their asses all day and night thinking that they are actually doing something, but in reality anything their fat fingers can type rolls into the ether within in a day.. and no one remembers it. My suggestion is to get outside more or you'll just perish where you currently sit.

As a born German, I have "adopted" Edmonton as my second-favorite NHL team (behind the Sabres, of course) because of Draisaitl, the first true German hockey star. GO, Leon and the Oilers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now This makes sense... some of the other posts on the finals series I've read are bizarre. Has to be the oilers, it's been a long time since a Canadian team has won the cup... I'm all for it.

WTF... I just saw the finals start next Saturday, thats ridiculous.

Well, if the Stars win tonight then there will be a Tuesday game to decide the series... If that happens, 3 days till the Cup finals start isn't "that" out there. As of who's left now I hope the Oilers win the cup.

Surprised that the BOC show wasn't at 8 but it'll at least be dusk.

You went to the same ‘76 show?

Yes, but if I remember right it was billed as the new century theatre.... the price was $6.00. I'll have to look tomorrow for more details off of the stub.

Never bought a Rush album, but, my younger brother did. I had been going to concerts a couple years, he hadn’t.

My mother made me take him to his 1st concert in ‘76, Rush at the Century Theater. I was glad he was a Rush fan.

Mine too, I still have the beat up stub... its in two pieces. Rush is ok but really I only like the hemi lp and the worlds a stage lp's.

the place is a reflection of society.

Thank you for a perfect example. And I'll bet you sit on your ass all day and night except when you are trying to sleep but you can't get away from the internet even in your dreams. Not just you though, I don't intend to single you out, that would be disrespectful. All of the other @#&^ing morons that think posting on a Buffalo Bills board political board makes them relevant. Enjoy your small world in front of a computer device... this place is certainly not a reflection of society.

Don't be put off by the insults and attempts to slam the door in your face.

This can be a fun and interesting place for an exchange of ideas, snark, etc. It shouldn't be an echo chamber or a place for crazy conspiracy theories to multiply.

    Welcome!

This place is a septic tank. There isn't much actual discussion, by only a few. I liken it to leaving shrimp in the bait bucket in the back of a boat/truckbed  when you had forgotten you didn't dump the whole thing and douche the bucket out in the water.

Bet a lot of you just sit on your ass all day and night... and the internet is your world.

  13. Tickets used to be 6-8-10 bucks back in the 70's... and 25 or so in the 80's for big names. The math doesn't add up to what they are charging nowadays. Before Harvey was known to be a "fill in the blank", Harvey & Corky Burger put out a ton of shows in Buffalo with quality bands for a good price. It's a money grab now... just like the price of a beer at a concert or a game.

I'm sure others here have some stubs from these days:

In that case I await the moment that the NFL apologizes for raping the fans of all their capitol when they are forced to spend thousands of dollars on PSL's before they can buy season tickets.

Also, how they extort fans by forcing them to buy streaming services, because they can only watch these games on there with no alternatives whatsoever. Including playoff games.

I disagree with this. There are plenty.

I had no idea one could "come out" as trans or have gender-affirming therapy in Iran.  It is still a very conservative theocracy.

I googled and officially the government does recognize transgender individuals who have undergone sex reassignment surgery, but according to my info, it's officially considered a mental disorder and there are no laws protecting trans people from discrimination or hate crimes.  As a result, assault, exclusion from education and jobs are rife.  Source:  Iranian-born and educated woman I used to work with.

They weren't wrong, and here in the USA it's a money grab.
