  1. I rewatched that Atl game 6 times, Taylor missed on so many wide open players and a lot of his passes were way off target. He made a few good passes like the Clay reception and the TD pass but 190 1TD is not going to ever win you a game unless your defense and running game are stellar. Shady kept so many drives alive and the defense played lights out. Shady is the best RB in the NFL right now no doubt about it. No RB is more valuable to his team then Shady is to the Bills.

With the way the defense and running game is working you could insert a ton of Trent Dilfer like QB's and win. Basically what we have is a Mobil version of Trent Dilfer.

  2. I hadn't been to a game in Buffalo for a while before last week - I think Chan Gailey's final game against the Jets was the last time I was in Orchard Park.

Anyway, I noticed that the fans were significantly better behaved this time. Plenty of drunks but no one obnoxiously intoxicated, no open fires on the ground in the parking lot, no public urination that I could see, and no fights. Everyone was fairly respectful towards opposing team fans. The atmosphere was very positive and was a pleasant surprise to me based on past poor experiences.

I've historically gone later in the season, usually when the team has been eliminated, so maybe that's the reason why I have a negative impression of the in-stadium experience... but regardless, it was a welcome change and made me feel proud to be a Bills fan. Keep it up.

There is no way somebody didn't pee in the sink in the upper deck bathroom.

  3. Sammy could be a top 5 WR if he stays healthy. With Sammy it would come down to what he wanted contract wise vs can I deal with him playing 10 weeks a season. The contract I would push for Sammy would be a 4 year deal for 38 mil and a lot of bonus money for numbers and playoffs. Only problem is I think Sammy would want a 4 year deal for 60 and that's too much for how much time he misses. We had no choice but to trade Sammy for a 2nd, it sucks but our hands were tied on that one.

Robert Woods is a WR that wish we still had, he wasn't a number 1 but he is better than a number 2. For the contract that the Rams gave him I would be very happy with that deal in Buffalo.

In a windy stadium like this you need big WR's with good hands and speed that can win battles. With a new QB, 2018 will be a fun year if this defense keeps improving and we add offensive weapons in FA and the draft.

  4. For Taylor to throw the football to a WR he needs to be open by 5 yards. We should see if the NFL will let us use those orange batons that they use to taxi planes so Taylor can see our WR running open.

Could you imagine if we had a WR like Dez Bryant or Mike Evans, those two guys are covered sometimes but their QB's throw them jump balls because they know they will win it. Taylor would never throw a ball that close to a covered WR, Dez and Mike would want out of here after their first year playing with Taylor.

  5. I asked this same question when Taylor first got here. His 2nd year here was the same, only a hand full of times did Taylor change the play or make a advantageous adjustment to the offense. Now in his 3rd year here people want to magically see Taylor change plays at the LOS, it's not going to happen and never will.

  6. Taylor is not elite or even good, but with a supporting cast around him he is far from terrible. He is a FA, not a drafted QB with high expectations as a franchise guy. Probably his last year here. Most posters are rational and understand this. The few who say he is terrible, and have an agenda against the guy, need help.An irrational hate for a player-even to root for losses when he plays-there's something wrong. that's all.

Taylor would need the 2000 Rams offense and the 2000 Ravens defense for this team to have a chance at a Super Bowl with Taylor's throwing abilities.
