Just adding a little fuel to the fire here. After the moves that have been made recently is there anyone out there that misses DW yet? Been so many head scratcher moves lately I don't know how to feel about the new regime anymore. One day I love em the next I hate em. At least with Whaley we knew he wasn't gonna blindside us and his priority was to win now.
You do know Whaley will never be a GM again in the NFL, I doubt a team even hires him as a scout.

Joe Webb is likely the worst QB I have ever seen, including Vince Ferragamo, Bruce Mathison, Joe Dufek, Brian McClure, and Billy Joe Hobert. He can't hit the broad side of a barn.
I 2nd this, another QB who can't audible and can't read a defense. I'm stoked.

Why hasn't Whaley found another GM job if he's so good at team building and scouting QB's. Not only do I never see Whaley as a GM again I don't even think a team would hire him as a scout.

I don't understand why they even play the national anthem before sporting events. What's the logic behind it?

I agree take the anthem out of the NFL, there really is no need for it.

Taylor needs to take this very seriously, if he gets another it could affect his life down the line. I would make him unavailable until week 6 and protect him from himself.

Still think he would have been worth the money. Not an all-pro, but just plain worth the money.
I agree but Whaley's ability to evaluate talent was epically bad. Three years ago I was constantly saying to fire Whaley and getting hammered for it. Now you can really see what little talent and depth we have on this team.

The rebuild will not be complete until all of the players Whaley drafted or traded for are off this team. I'm guessing a 4 year purge.

1. We gave up a 2015 1st round pick and 2015 4th round pick to move up and get Watkins. He is gone 3yrs later and missed like 30% of his games.
2. Cyrus was our 2nd round pick in 2014. He is an abomination.
3. Our first pick in 2015 was 2nd round pick Darby. He is gone 2 years later.
4. Our 2nd pick in 2015, 3rd rounder John Miller, is barely a starter and may get beat out by Ducasse, who is horrible.
5. Our 3rd pick in 2015, 5th rounder Karlos Williams isn't even in the NFL anymore.
Like I've said 100 times I cannot believe Whaley lasted here as long as he did. For the last 3 years I was saying fire Whaley. He won't even be hired as a scout he was so bad.

Unless it is Shady.Really like the way Clay has performed ever since his child was born last year. 3 straight games with touchdowns and much better effort.
I would take Shady in the 3rd rd and only because I think he will be traded at some point.
In both of my FFL leagues when Shady was picked in the 1st rd there was a guy who said you better hope he gets traded.

This team is rebuilding, they are stupid for not coming out and saying it at the beginning of PS. If it's been two years and they are still playing like this then blow the thing up but for now we are going to have to deal with being bad.

Taylor needs to be very careful, if I'm the HC I would keep him out for the 1st 3 weeks just to protect him.

lol. Still have no idea what the hell he was thinking there. "Females only. Must sign a waiver." WTF?
He's smart, we built my buddies 16x20 shed into a party shed with lights in the floors and ceiling and carpet on the walls. We had a TV and crazy loud stereo in that thing, he also had a huge inground pool in back. Whenever we had parties we only let in females and kicked the guys out. We called the shed the The Jungle, thank you Shady for keeping up the tradition and taking the no sausage party to the next level.

Revisionist history since he has rated as no worst than a 2nd round pick and was drafted to fit the 3-4 scheme that was employed at the time.
I honestly don't see him playing that well in a 3-4. like I said he reminds me of a faster Brandon Spikes. Spikes played in a 3-4 in NE and was horrid, where ever Spikes was that's where teams attacked through the air. RB's aren't even getting 300 carries anymore. Jaylon Smith, Luke Kuechly and Bobby Wagner type LB's are the future of the NFL. We get dominated by the Patriots passing game and Whaley picks a MLB that can stuff the run. Thank god he is gone.

He looks like what I thought he was going to look like which is a slightly faster version of Brandon Spikes.
I've been saying this forever but Whaley was the worst GM we have ever had. What is Whaley doing right now anyways. No phone calls? I wonder why.
I still cannot believe we traded up for him.

For one if OBJ were here him and Tyrod probably would hate each other by now. Remember on passing plays Tyrod don't see most of the field, won't throw the ball unless you're wide open, and can't make all of the throws a normal qb can throw. OBJ would lose his mind here. He's a me first player and playing with Tyrod would not fit his me first attitude. So no OBJ would not excel here with Tyrod. Sammy handled playing here pretty well.
I agree OBJ would've had a fist fight with Taylor and bashed him every media chance he could.
Why are you so sure we aren't a playoff team?

I agree 100% with this, everything in this post is what I was about to type. I would say there is a very slim chance at a playoff push that would involve Peterman playing good as a rookie, the O-Line staying healthy, the defense getting progressively better every week and Shady having a monster season. Other than that I'm guessing we win 3-5 games this year.
