Well yes, I agree with that. The Ravens arent doing that and I dont think Lamar has grown as a passer so I expect them to be worse next season... if Lamar is even still on the team.

As a fan I want to know my team can compete for a SB. If I was a Ravens fan I wouldnt feel that at all. If they cant then I want them to try improve to someone who can. Much like KC improved over Alex Smith who they were pretty competitive with but not competitive enough. MVPs are fun little accolades but do nothing for me as a fan.

Going to the SB yes but if my teams claim to fame is my QB won MVP and 1 playoff game in 5 years then I am not that excited.

Sorry I dont agree that he was pressured all game. He had 45 attempts and a lot of them had all day to throw the ball.

We seem to have games where we get decent pressure and then games where it seems like we dont get any at all. Skylar had all day to throw last week. Hard to say. We lost a lot when we lost Von. There is a reason Beane went and paid him so much. I think we will get pressure but it wont be consistent and even that pressure is probably realiant on our secondary playing good coverage.

Im hoping they can come to terms on a reasonable couple year deal. This guy would probably get paid well in FA though so its unlikely unless he simply wants to be a Bill.

Personally I think McD should have won it already. My vote is for Daboll this year. He has done a tremendous job with that team.

I wish the NFL would implement a rule that no coaching interviews until the season concludes. Its too much distraction for teams still in the show IMO. Its a lot of prep work and all day interviews for HC positions.

I cant say that I dont worry everytime the Defense faces 3rd and like 12+. On the otherhand I dont really worry about 3rd and like 6-. Maybe those 3rd and longs just stick out like a sore thumb but it seems like it gets converted often against us.

I would guess that also means its tougher on the QB/WR because they have to read the play the same exact way everytime or those miscommunications and ints can happen. Those "where the F was he throwing to" can also happen.

The thing I dont like is there are a lot of times where two receivers end up close to the same spot. That makes it easier on a defense. What I dont know is that on Dorsey or are our receivers running the wrong route?

I dont think Gabe is actually a limited route runner. I just think its the way Dorsey is using him. Gabes route tree is a lot different this year than last year. Daboll put him in the slot as well as out last season. Dorsey doesnt seem to use him like that much. Maybe he is limited, I dont know but I dont think he is. Look at this year from last year in one comparison... Thats two charts this year. The first one is week 5 the second one is week 16 This next one is from the wildcard playoff game last week This next one is from last year divisional playoffs. Kind of similar to last weeks game Seems like Dorsey may be opening him up more for the playoffs.
