Trade him to Jax for Dareus ?

I see it as a win-win situation. If he does well Great! We've found our guy. If he doesn't we can go draft our guy.

Dennison hamstrings the run game on his own. His obsession with getting Mike Tolbert involved is insane. Tolbert has accomplished nothing all year. There’s really no arguing against it, he simply ruined our #1 rush game. That being said if the pass game starts clicking with Peterman we will all forget that very quickly.
They cant pass everytime shady needs a breather. The issue is that he's fat and slow. I have no idea why they call so many outside runs for him.

The problem is the playoffs are very much attainable in the weak AFC.
If he plays well they are in. If he doesn't you go draft your guy. TT wasnt taking us to the Superbowl this year.

I agree bring Milano back. He was playing well and I'd love to get him more in game experience.

If you're committed to drafting a qb early, don't settle for the "best guy" at that slot. That's what gets you JP Losman and Paxton Lynch. Do what the big boys (Philly, Rams) do and trade up. I can almost guarantee you that the best couple of guys will be measurably better than the next two.
I meant what was left over after trading up but I was not clear on that and that's on me. But I am in total agreement that you don't wait on scraps and go after the top guys. That's why I called him "the guy" earlier

Always an option, but of course they are older and will cost more money which isn't necessarily ideal.
Generally you want to build in the draft and add 1 or 2 missing pieces in free agency. And the Bills have a lot of missing pieces in their front 7 which makes it very expensive to sign a bunch of free agents tied up to the front 7
Can't argue with you there. We haven't had a decent linebacker since Spikes and Fletcher. Now that Kyle is old all we have is Hughes on the line. The way I see it is, either try to sign Kirk Cousins and have a heavy defensive draft. Hope Peterman is the guy and draft defense. My final option which I think may be best is draft "the guy" at QB use the rest of your picks on Defense and build from there.

Why is signing FA's for the DL and drafting a QB not an option?

Imagine you had the #1 rushing offense 2 years running and now have the 17th. Imagine you had the #7 scoring offense last year and now have the 20th. All while having the same players. Dennison is trying to force players into his system. Much like Rex did. The players had to meet with the coaches during the bye to force them to go back to things that worked last year and the Bills had their 2 best offensive games. Dennison has done nothing in this league except play second fiddle. It should be obvious to all of us after the Rex debacle that coaching matters. Seeing a regression on 1 side of the ball when the players are the same points to the scheme or the coach. Both of those are on Dennison.
I hope Peterman comes in and kills it. I hope the Bills take a qb high and solve the qb position long term. I don't feel great about Dennison being the one to mold a young qb and develop him though. I hope his seat is very hot because he has mishandled this offense back to the offseason when he said he didn't care what they did last year.
I'm not defending Dennison in anyway but you do realize we had Watkins,Woods, TD Mike and Goodwin last year.

A rookie on the road vs a strong defense. A leaky Bills D vs an offense with multiple weapons.
No, it won't be pretty. If Tyrod were playing it would be closer because he would protect the football. I expect at least 3 turnovers from Peterman.
They are 32nd against the run

19/31 for 217 yards 1 TD and 2 INts. 4 sacks. 1 fumble lost. Bills lose 34-10.
Just for fun, Tyrod would have been 17/26 188 yards, 1 TD 0 INts, 7 rushes for 48 yards, 1 rush TD. 4 sacks. Bills lose 27-17.
I don't view this game as an automatic win but I also don't see it as an unwinnable game. Your prediction basically says doesn't matter what they do it's a loss.

Hard to know what to expect with little to no playing experience, but I'd temper any expectations for a big passing day.
Alex Smith only had 155 yards. I'd hardly call that a big day. Its actually more or less what TT gives us every week.

For reference, here's what the Chargers allowed this season against some pretty good QBs:
Carson Wentz 17-31 242 yards 1 TD 0 INT
Alex Smith 16-21 155 yards 2 TD 0 INT
Derek Carr 21-30 171 yards 1 TD 2 INT
Tom Brady 32-47 333 yards 1 TD 0 INT
I'd take an Alex Smith type day. Its only his 1st start.

Lol. Dang small keyboard! As far as wins and losses on him? Yes and no. If he is putting up TD and our D still lays an egg, no. If he is costing games because he is throwing pick 6's yes. BTW. Fixed my small key big thumbs issue.
Great points. You can get a real good backup in the back of 1 to begining of 2. If he proves himself to be a good backup you can get a good started earlier in the 1.
I was just having fun with a fellow fan lol

What do you think needs to be the record over the next 6 weeks to say he is our man? Is it wins and losses or is it x amount of points a week? Is it compete with the Pats and win one of the two games?
I will say I felt they would do better to start him day 1 so Im excited. That said I want to see 4-5 wins for the remainder of the season. I also want to see sustained drives and scoring on the first drive. He can do it I believe. If he does that. Use the large number of drafts build a team around him. What ya think?
Are you expecting him to get benched for the final game? 7 game remain. Also you cant put the wins or losses solely on him.
-
He looked ok to me. He replied politely and said its out of his hands. He even said it puts everyone in a tough spot because if he does well its kinda like TT wasnt good enough and if he fails they lose a game they need and people may pile on Peterman. Mccoy behaved like a Pro

Yeah, but can he do it in pads?
All he needs is a helmet for safety. No pads, no uniform.

Hey look at that we stopped their 11th string running back
-
I don't remember the defense getting gashed on every run when Dareus was here
-
He's a little slow for my liking I'd like to see whats out there 1st if theirs nobody better than I'd resign him
-
not 1 slot guy on this team is anywhere near Jarvis skill wise. He can also go down the field
-
And that is relevant how? How many players from that team are on this team?
If you read the part I quoted he states its the Bills best record since 1993. You were saying?
-
I think if you are McBean you waste little time worrying about “covering tracks.”
You just unloaded an overpaid and underperforming DT, you got rid of a WR that was more hype and potential than reality, you’ve got a basketful of picks in the upcoming draft and your team has its best record since 1993.
Bills were 5-2 in 2008 and 2011

The throw and catch were perfect, I dont think he could of done much more than be 1 step closer.

I can't speak for the entire fanbase but I've just about had enough of Glenn. I understand injuries but this is way to often and lingering for a position where stability is needed.
