i'm guessing that any time you can decide to pull the trigger in anger to attack/injure someone you have a few bolts loose.

no healthy individual is going to do this.

It's a nice thought, but healthy individuals do worse on a daily basis.

Sounds like Aiyuk values himself more than he's really worth. Is he that good?

He put up damn good numbers this year.  The talent isn't in question.  Just needs to be in the right situation.

Not saying that I'm interested or that Bills should pursue him, but there'd be no drop off in production here if you swapped him for Diggs.  My opinion.

He coached scared, can't do that against KC.

There was an instance during the final drive where Romo made an observation that Shanahan called timeout because he didn't like Wilks's aggressive call.

How are there too many holes to fill?  We need help at receiver, safety, Dline, and some depth.  I want to draft a receiver early, and possibly a second one mid-round.  I want to draft at least one Dline and 1 safety.  It will depend on where the value is and who the Bills like on where these players are picked, but these are the positions I would like them to target.  Possibly a center to take over for Morse in a year or two.

For FA I would like a veteran brought in to help with the transition to the rookies playing more, a veteran safety, and maybe Dline.  They would all be mid-range FA obviously, no high priced FA.

The entire Oline is under contract next year.  TE's are fine, RBs we can pick up a cheap FA or draft one in mid to late rounds.  CB is fine, LB is fine as we get Milano and Bernard back.

We're hoping these holes are actually filled with guys who make a difference.  That's no guarantee.

There is a decent way to explain why the team would choose to move on from Tre White. A player that has been nothing short of the consummate professional and an outstanding representative of the team.

And then there is the disrespectful, lazy way that you presented it.

However it was presented, op is right.

Coming off an ACL and now an achilles, Tre is all but done.  I don't see how you can justify paying him $16 million this season.

If I was starting a team, I would want Shanahan over McDermott but I respect both of them as frankly great coaches.   My post was snarky/sarcastic in that Shanahan is in a similar position, sure he has made 2 SB's in SF but you have to win.   He had leads in both and failed to close.  Was that all him?  No I don't think so but this board would not stand for losing super bowl's.  Getting there is not the goal, you have to win it and in that way Shanahan and McDermott are similar.  Heck they have both been beaten by Mahomes and Reid more than once in the playoffs in close games.

No doubt, it's not good enough to just get there, but we know that he can and with various talent at the QB position.

It would be a promising outlook.

Give Shannahan a Josh Allen and he wouldn't be able to afford McCaffrey, Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuk and their Defense, The things that have made SF the best in the NFC.

But the Bills don't have any of those guys.  Kyle would simply bring in talent to fit his system.

Josh is of the caliber where he can elevate the guys around him.

Lets fire the guy that does not get it done for the guy that does not get it done.

Shanahan hasn't gotten it done yet, but his offenses have gone to 3 Super Bowls.  2 of them with Garopollo and a 2nd year QB that was the last pick in the draft.

Give Kyle a Josh Allen and see what happens.  I guarantee that elusive Allen MVP is as good as won.

The bigger question that needs to be asked is why they abandoned the run from the 2nd quarter until late in the 3rd…

They win that game if they stuck with it.

Baltimore did the same thing. An incredible rushing team just mailing it in even after immediate success…

I love Kyle Shanahan, but he's done this before.  28-3 is a PRIME example.

That's football. I'm done with the crying.  Chiefs have won 3 in 5 years and we haven't even sniffed the Superbowl.  It is what it is. To the victor goes the spoils.  Props to the Chiefs.

    It's so weird in here.

    The delusion is maddening.

So none of those 11 or so accomplishments, all done this year, add up to an MVP season?  Yes, if Josh Allen walked on Lake Erie while throwing for 6,000 yards and 100 TD's he'd be MVP...maybe.

    Did he win?

And no, those "records" do not count toward a regular season MVP award.

Allen's four passing touchdowns vs Miami week 4 extended his NFL record 12-game streak with multiple passing touchdowns against a single opponent.

He also becomes the second player in NFL history with 300+ passing yards, 4+ passing TDs, 1+ rushing TDs & a perfect passer rating in a single game.

In week 6, Josh Allen throws his 150th and 151st career touchdown passes, taking just 82 career games to do so, the fifth-fastest pace in NFL history

Week 8, Josh Allen surpasses Steve Young (43) for second place on the NFL's all-time list for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback, (44) trailing only Cam Newton (75).

Week 10, Josh Allen ties Jim Kelly's team record of 18th consecutive game with a TD pass.

Week 12, Josh Allen joins Cam Newton as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to have four seasons with 8+ rushing touchdowns.

Week 15, Josh Allen records 10th game this season with 1+ passing and 1+ rushing TD, setting an NFL record.

Week 16, QB Josh Allen becomes the first player in NFL history to record 40 total touchdowns in four consecutive seasons.

Week 18, Josh Allen sets NFL record with 9th career game of passing for 300+ yards and rushing for 50+ yards.

Allen becomes the only player in NFL history with statline of: 350+ pass yards, 65+ rush yards and 75%+ completion rate in a single game.

Allen finishes the season leading the NFL in total TDs (44) and total yards (4,830).

    Any more questions?

I should have been more specific.

Single season records.  I'm talking passing yards and TDs.  Not these, "1st person to ever do a handstand and complete a pass" type of stats.

If CMC ran for 2,000, he'd be the MVP.  If Tyreek had 2,000 yards receiving, he likely would have won.
