CB still being in the protocol is expected. I do not think him missing practice today for personal reasons has any impact on the protocol. Personally, I think he will go, but we will likely not know until around 5pm on Sunday.

So Halloween party Monday and then jetting to Yankees game on Tuesday. Can't wait to see the performance he puts out on Sunday.
He literally says in the Yankees video "we fly out tonight". The flight time from NYC to Buffalo is ~1.5 hours. The game ended at around 11:30pm, assuming he stayed the entire time, he was likely home and in bed by 2:30am. If one of the guys said in a presser today that "Yeah, Josh and a few of the guys were up til almost 3am playing Call Of Duty last night" half the board would be saying "this team is so tight, the league better watch out". Let the man enjoy his life and hard-earned cash without assuming it means doom and gloom for the game this weekend.

I think people are forgetting that Mike White and his knowledge of the Dolphin's offensive scheme is now employed by OBD. Sure PO is going to help their defense, but I'd be willing to bet Mike White has brought extremely valuable information as well.

Allen has a $60 million cap hit next year. I guess we're screwed too.
Most good teams have qbs with huge contracts. Somehow, they manage to keep a lot of their players.
Allen will almost assuredly be extended/sign a new deal in the offseason. First to get him back in line with the top QBs, and second to reduce this hit

Highly disagree. If the Bills quit playing scared and scored 30 points per game who is going to stop them?
The edge defender coming off of Allen's blindside and knocking him out for the year...

Of course he can. It would be kind of stupid. He wants to win, and without his 23 million, his team will have no depth and lousy starters on defense.
he absolutely cannot say no. It’s a mechanism in the contract that converts money, it doesn’t take it away. They do not need Allen’s approval or signature. A restructure is not a new contract.-

Not in my book.
You're right, he was elite pre-injuries.

I think Joe Brady as OC is going to be an interesting one. There are quite a few OC jobs open and you have to figure he is going to be on the list for several of them. Most notably, I think Cincy is the biggest threat to poach him if we decide to take our time on the decision. Brady was the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach at LSU in 2019 when they won the National Championship with Burrow and Chase. One would assume he has a good relationship with both players and that opening would be appealing.

We are expecting to get another one to three feet of snow in the area tonight
I was thinking about this. We are already a day behind in prep work/rest. It’s going to really suck if because of the weather the team can’t get to the facility tomorrow and get treatment and begin practice for Sunday. -

It felt different though. The vibe of this team has changed dramatically. It’s way more tight, serious, flat, and they look like they’re just not having fun anymore.
And there is obviously something wrong with this offense.
It really didn’t though. It was pretty doom and gloom leading up to that Buccaneers loss. We went embarrassing loss to the Jags, killed the jets, got demolished by the colts, killed the saints, wind game, loss to the Bucs. Luckily they figured something out as a team during that bucs comeback attempt and rode it the rest of the year. But prior to that, they looked inconsistent and tight, much like they do now

Good on Beane for making a push but having other forks in the fire as well. Would Jaylon have been awesome? Absolutely! Am I thrilled that we didn't get left at the alter and went ahead and made a play for a pretty good player in Douglas when it became apparent Johnson wasn't happening? You better believe it

Good on Beane for having multiple forks in the fire and being able to pivot when he realized Jaylon wasn't happening

Don't like it, especially not for a 3rd round pick. Is he even going to start over Benford and Jackson?
That 3rd round pick could be way more important to this team as we will have a lot of holes to fill.
He will absolutely start. He is currently the 12-rated CB this season and on a deal that we can easily extend. A pretty damn good commodity versus an unknown 3rd round pick is a good trade-off to me, especially considering we get a 5 back and will likely recoup the 3 as a comp pick from Edmunds

I don’t think the people saying they’ve never heard of Rasul Douglas are proving the point they think they are 😂
This is exactly what I was going to say! Definitely more of a reflection on them.
Great move

I'd be fine with Suh. Doesn't cost any draft capital.
If the rumors of Suh are legit, then it leads me to believe (hope) that Beane is targeting CB or LB via trade. He is dealing with limited resources so as much as we would all love for him to make big splash trades to fill the holes left by injury, it's just not feasible. My hope is that he has identified his target, and is attempting to plug/patch some of the other holes with cheap vet signings so he can commit what resources he does have to land his preferred target.

Norman being up doesn't mean he is going to start. It means if push comes to shove, they don't trust Elam and would rather put Norman into the lineup. Fingers crossed, he doesn't even see the field tonight

If it is true Isabella is up, who is he replacing at WR? Sherfield? Harty? Or do we go with 2 running backs and sit down Ty?

Wouldn't they have had to been called up from the PS yesterday for this to be possible?
For Thursday night games, teams do not have to announce until 4pm on the day of the game I believe-

As Jauronimo stated , west to east for the early slot is a tough hill to climb. I’m guessing this has been done before , but I can’t say I can recall a recent example. It seems a smart move.
The 49ers have done this in the past. They stay in Youngstown, Ohio where their owner was raised and still has family in the area. They last did it in 2019, coincidentally when Jimmy G was the QB.

My antenna has a slight crack in it and my pirate sources have such a delay, I am considering signing up for NFL+ to watch the game live. Has anyone successfully installed the app on a Roku TV as opposed to mobile only?
YouTube TV offers a free trial. I subscribed on Thursday and have been extremely impressed. You can cancel the free trial right away and still have access for the entire trial period.

Wouldn't be shocked if the Steelers bring him in. That room is looking a little sparse post Pickens trade and Gabe has balled out against them in the past.
