It's what the fans want.

Stop comparing Reddick to Von Miller. Miller had 3 years of experience as an OLB where he collected 27.5 sacks in that time. Reddick is limited to only one year of experience as an OLB.
-
No kidding. What a ridiculous take. "You can't possibly play 2 tight ends who are both receiving treats, one must just be an extra offensive lineman!"
For those who have trouble thinking outside of the box, just think of Howard in a Gronk role (a more traditional inline TE) and Clay in a Hernandez role (playing some traditional TE, lining up a FB occasionally, slot some). I will never understand why people have such violent "This is the one way a NFL offense is supposed to look, it can only look this way" takes on personnel.
We easily have a more talented Oline than the Pats do, but they have a QB who knows where to get the ball to quickly and can blow ours away when it comes to reading defenses.
-
I like him a lot and he will be good for a new QB that we really need to draft at some point (not sure I'd trade up in RD1 for a QB this year, but I would try to hop back in rd1 for the pick of the litter if they fall).
Like Pats did with Hernandez & Gronk and tried to replicate this year with Bennett and Gronk? Special elite talent is what you should go after when you draft high...
The Pats have Tom Brady and an offensive line that can pass block without having to ask one of their tight ends to help the right tackle. The Bills do not have either of those luxuries.
-
Not true at all if you deploy them correctly.
TV announcer: Tyrod Taylor in the shotgun. Bills going 4 wide with Watkins, Chris Godwin (just a hypothetical), Clay and Howard. Here's the snap. Taylor under pressure immediately and down he goes! Kony Ealey making it look easy, as he just flew by Jordan Mills for the sack on Taylor. It wasn't even close, folks.
-
i can't even believe a team would play more than one, or think long-term, or select elite talent when they draft high instead of reach for need. Fire them both.
Ok. As I've said many, MANY times on this subject, if you have Howard and Clay on the roster, one of them will have to become a full-time blocker to help Mills in the passing game. So, who do you make the full-time blocking TE: the guy you're paying a huge salary to, or the 10th overall pick?
-
And with the 10th overall pick the Buffalo Bills select OJ Howard, Alabama! The most complete, clean prospect in the draft and consensus top 10 talent.
"Fire that GM and hell, the coach too."
More like:
Goodell: With the 10th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, even though they have Charles Clay on their roster with a $9 million cap hit, the Buffalo Bills select...OJ Howard. Tight end, Alabama.
-
On the #Bills draft front, informed team still finalizing its board.
It's a #BillsDraft tradition. !@#$ Chris Brown's mock draft is back! Here's who he has us picking at 10: http://bufbills.co/bLnXez
Brown has the Bills selecting OJ Howard with Reddick as another option.
OJ Howard at 10 should be a fireable offense, regardless of who made the pick.
-
The fans want to trade down and get as many picks as possible. So, three 2nd round picks.
-
I don't understand what your saying.
He doesn't think McDermott was a good hire
-
hes basically von miller
You're referring to the same Von Miller who had 3 years experience at his NFL position where he collected 27.5 sacks during that time at Texas A&M? Reddick only has one year of experience at the OLB position, which is where he'd be in the NFL.
-
-
If anyone goes, make sure to boo, as loud as you can, when the pick is made.
-
My assessment? I expect this team to draft to fill needs in the first few rounds and then draft Chad Kelly later to have a new QB story line to sell the fans.
Pat Mahomes: Looking in your eyes I see a paradise
This world that I've found
Is too good to be true
Standing here beside you
Want so much to give you
This love in my heart that I'm feeling for you
jeffismagic: Let 'em say we're crazy, I don't care about that
Put your hand in my hand baby
Don't ever look back
Let the world around us just fall apart
Baby we can make it if we're heart to heart
Mahomes and jeff: And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us now
Mahomes: I'm so glad I found you
I'm not gonna lose you
Whatever it takes I will stay here with you
Take it to the good times
See it through the bad times
Whatever it takes is what I'm gonna do
jeff: Let 'em say we're crazy, what do they know
Put your arms around me baby
Don't ever let go
Let the world around us just fall apart
Baby we can make it if we're heart to heart
Mahomes and jeff: And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us
Mahomes: Ooh, all that I need is you
jeff: All that I ever need
Mahomes: And all that I want to do
Mahomes and jeff: Is hold you forever, ever and ever, hey
Mahomes and jeff: And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us

if trubisky is there and we take him, i will trust that decision. if not, my pick would be foster. i was listening to rodney harrison's radio show sat. morning and he's got me sold as foster being a major impact right off the bat.
if we don't do either, i'm all in on the trade down. if it's in the 20's, i'm taking tj watt.
zay jones in the second and bpa with the rest.
if they don't get trubisky, i hope they make sure to get chad kelly.
-
Weak attempt at sarcasm. btw, he'd be playing a completely different position than Maybin played. He'd be WLB, not DE. He's not going to go head to head with guards and tackles every play. I'm sure he'd be blitzing too, as he's a good pass rusher, but that isn't the reason why I'd draft him.
Hope you enjoy wearing your Reddick Bills jersey on Sundays. For your sake, he better have a Von Miller or Thomas Davis-esque impact this year.
-
If you don't like him, I understand why. I like him and I understand why.
Fine. I hope they take him 10th overall. Then, I'll get to watch him struggle mightily against legitimate NFL competition, when he gets stonewalled by every guard and offensive tackle he goes up against (think Aaron Maybin).
-
What has Hasaan Reddick done to justify this obsession that people have in thinking that he should be taken 10th overall? Did he have 200 tackles and 20 sacks last year or something? Did we also forget that he played for TEMPLE, which means he played CRAP competition?
-
if we go WR at 10 I'll storm OBD
Why, because you want Mitch "Only 13 Starts in College" Trubisky, or Pat "Another Texas Tech QB from a Goofy College System" Mahomes instead?
-
-
So we're all agreed? If Whaley passes on either Trubisky or Mahomes at 10, then he should be fired before the sun comes up on Friday?
-
So the fanbase cannot be critical of an organization that has missed the playoffs 17 years straight.
Please answer the question.
-
Whaley is a bad drafter, period. And him and management are bad at the cap too.
What was your Draft record when you were a GM?
-
I like it....as a matter of fact I LOVE it
We do? EJ isnt on the team anymore
After his performance last season, Kizer should be taken no earlier than the 5th.

No, instead he gave us a stoic Dick Jauron to contend with for (almost) 4 seasons.
