    Per SI:

All 32 NFL teams can carry 16 players on their practice squad, including six veteran players. That means experienced players across the league may end up on practice squads this season.

Teams are allowed to protect four players on the practice squad every Tuesday. For example, the Bengals can block anyone that tries to poach one of their four 'blocked' players starting on Tuesday. If quarterback Jake Dolegala ends up on the practice squad, there would only be about a 36-hour window — Monday and part of Tuesday — where he can leave Cincinnati for an active roster spot on another team. Once the Bengals choose their four players, no team can sign them to their 53-man roster that week.

I can't find anything on the Google.  Does this mean we can carry 17 with Wade?

Which leads me to a question I forgot to ask couple of times... How is that possible? I mean I know that he was one of the youngest (or THE youngest?) player to be ever drafted at 19, but how so? I know that you have to play 3 years of college, so I checked his wiki and it says he went to Virginia Tech when he was 17.

You can go to college at 17 in US? In my country you need to finish high school and it's not possible before 18 birthday unless you are some kind of genius.

This is from Reddit so take it with a grain of salt.  But it looks like him and his brothers all skipped a grade when they went from home schooling to public schooling.

Well, de facto bubbling for the NFL is patently impractical. Think about the logistics of hosting 2 games at a single venue in a single week.

Now expand that idea to even half an NFL schedule.

Your proposal for all teams to bubble their players at a hotel, however, is quite reasonable IMO.

That is what I meant.  They have to have a middle ground between NBA and MLB.  The reason why the MLB has seen some covid cases is because the Cards and Marlins went out on the town.  Its almost like they need to be babysat.

Saints have rented a hotel for voluntary bubbling. They say about 150 of 180 players/personnel are expected to stay.

This is what all teams should do.  If they want someone to visit they would need to be tested.  We have seen how well it has worked out for the MLB.  NBA and NHL are doing it right.

A bit much in my eyes and I have one in an area only a wife can see (butt).  My oldest son has a couple now, and I think he’s dumb as he has one in a lower area of his arm.  I told him, ———, you do realize when you’re out of college you’ll be in the professional world.  You may want to consider not placing in the lower leg or arm.  Hardly anyone will see something on you’re back, shoulder, etc.

A lot of companies don't care anymore.  Paychex just allowed tattoos to be seen as long as its not offensive .  Plus you can cover up your lower arm and leg.

  6. Not sure if the players would even want this.   But could you do a bubble in each city?  Buy out a hotel and let the players live there.  Their family can live with them.  Take a bus to and from the facilities. If you want to have a family visit they would just get tested.  I know the chances of this happening is none.  But we have seen how the MLB is doing.  While the NBA bubble has worked so far.
