Well it's Josh's team now and there is NO ONE left that would dare call him out, even if/when he is playing like crap and possibly not as dedicated to his craft as he needs to be. So we'll see.

Interesting enough, Diggs has never actually been WRONG about any of his many complaints over the years.

Zimmer and the Vikes' run-first offense.

    McD's coaching in 13 seconds

Players quitting throughout the 2022 season.

Josh checked out and befuddled in the Cincy game.

Dorsey on the wrong track to start 2023.

Sorry Josh didnt want to hear that his dumb decisions and 3 ints cost us an easy Jets win.

You can be wrong even if you're right.  It found him out of Minnesota and Buffalo.  BTW I'm pretty sure Diggs wasn't the only one to see those issues, he's just the one being immature about trying to fix them.

  2. His teammates weren't the ones to disappear on the field when they were playing the game and they weren't the one fighting their QB on the sideline or showing up late to camp.  Was he All In?  Being frustrated by a loss is understandable but to say he cared more is silly.

The top 3 WR's will go in the top 10. We aren't going up that high without seriously negatively impacting this team for years, worse than $30 mil dead cap or Von Miller's contract

With 4 QBs set to go in the top 10 and Brock Bowers there too I don't think its unreasonable to see one of the top 3 dropping, most likely Odunze

Trade 28 far enough down to get someone’s first next year and have a pair of 1s and 2s next year. Take advantage of the deep class this year and position yourself to do something special next year.

The cap situation will be much better and the draft position will be much better. Use this year to prep for a big 2025.

Cap situation will be worse next year.

I think he's not a "drama guy", so yes, relief that Diggs is out BUT he must feel some anxiety about the WR room right now.

Allen should be IN the draft war room rooting for offensive weapons.....

I don't think he does.  At the end of the year everything was going to Kincaid, Cook and Shakir because it was being dropped by Diggs

Diggs was getting bracket coverage in the second half of the season, and we still couldn't get open on the other side of the field. I just don't see how this isn't a major setback. 30M in dead cap this year is just devastating.

Plus, while Shakir can play outside but Samuel is more of a slot. This trade leaves a gaping hole in the WR room. We can draft someone who will eventually become that guy but as for 2024 things just got a whole lot more difficult.

Either way he was not the player he used to be and his shots when he was open equaled a lot of drops.  They set up life without him when all he could catch was behind the line passes

I'd love to have a good run game.  Kelly had Thurman.  This offense would be hard to stop if it could both run and pass.

But currently it can't do either with consistency.  And with Josh as, by far, our best player, we need to build around him.  We need a good group of bodyguards up front that keep him upright and give him time to throw.  And we need receiving weapons.

Too often we see Josh scrambling around either because (a) protection broke down, or (more commonly now) (b) no one's open.

This is the NFL unless someone on the defense is out of position no one is ever open

He set the NFL record for touchdown returns……won games for the Bears just returning kicks…..he deserves to be in the HOF! Congrats Hester…..people can debate it all they want but what’s done is done!

    20 total return touchdowns 😳

Disagree.  Not because of the talent but because there are definitely players that deserved it much more than him.  He was dominant for a couple years but hall of fame is longevity

He was the most dominant return man ever……litterly won them the game against the Cardinals with punt returns.

Does that mean Desmond Howard the only super bowl MVP kick returner should have made it too?  Could be their coverage was so good or he was a real talent but HOF for a couple of special years seems slightly overexaggerated

Position coaches really mean little to me. It's the Coordinators and McDermott that determine the Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams strategies. A position coach basically just runs guys through individual position drills, gets a little film time, and builds players confidence through rah-rah. I don't think a position coach has a massive impact on player performance, unless they're literally not doing the job.

Well both our coordinators came from a position on our team.

We did the same thing when we promoted Dorsey. Interviewed him, the Ravens WR coach, Raiders WR coach (both minorities). Unless we interview one more, it’s probably a similar thing with it being Babich, Desai, and Caldwell. Still not convinced it is an actual search.

Have they actually said they are interviewing Babich like they said about Brady?
