  1. Allen will go down as a great QB and HOFer if he stays healthy. It’s a shame that Allen plays in the same era as Mahommes, who will always overshadow him, mostly because his coach and teammates are superior to Allen’s.

  2. I like Fields.

Wilson is a dumpster fire of a person and his play doesn’t warrant the headaches he brings to a locker room. I remember Marshawn and Sherman talking about how he big times everybody, won’t even give them his number, had them call his manager. Guy seems like a rich douche. Not sure why Steelers brought that cancer in tbh.

Definite 1st ballot HOF and one of the most dominant players on defense I ever witnessed. Between White, Smith, LT, Lewis to name a few that I watched as well. It would be a good discussion for fans who was the most dominant defensive player they watched in their lifetime.

LT is his own tier, imo. With those guys and a few other (Prime, Reed, Watt) on the next exclusive tier.

    Jackson

    autographed pics:

    cj Spiller

    Kelly

    Lynch

    full size helmet autographed by

    Kelly, Reed, Thomas

    mini helmets autographed by

    Poyer

    Hyde

tons of autographed cards from 90s Bills.

probably my favorite item is from when I lived in Vegas and ran a restaurant. I happened to have an official NFL “Duke” ball in my trunk at the time. And Stephen Jackson came into my restaurant and ordered about $150 in wings. One of my employees notified me that he was in the restaurant. I gladly comped his entire meal and didn’t feel bad about asking him if he would sign my Ball. He did it gladly. Really cool dude. Deserves more credit than he gets for a fantastic career.

Like I said I have tons of stuff, probably leaving out a few things. But off the top of my head that’s what I’ve got.

    Jackson was a beast

he’s not in a particularly bad place today

I mean he can’t afford to bring in any talent to replace the talent that aged out, which is a bad place imo. Beane is now forced to hit on every pick he makes and every signing he does, which he has struggled with.

what??!  Allen is THE FRANCHISE  if you restructure anyone it’s him

I think restructuring kicks money down the road that eventually must be cap hit dollars. It’s not about giving up years of Allen, it’s about paying for him now when the team is weaker and not having huge cap hits in a few years when the team is better.

I just wonder when Josh's restructure is announced. Might be in play for  FA or two after all.

I am hoping Beane avoids restructuring Josh, which just kicks the problem down the road another season. That’s how Beane ended up where he is today.

Ha! I’ve seen much worse, including from one current multiple MVP winner!! Jim won a lot of playoff games, but what skews the stats is when he lost, he lost spectacularly.

Go look at his game logs from the postseason. Jim had four good games out of nineteen. Jim was tough, probably a great leader, but he wasn’t good when it mattered.

    Josh #7 Overall

    Oliver #9 Overall

    Diggs #22 Overall

    Rousseau #30 Overall

    Elam #23(#25)Overall

    Kincaid #25 (#27) Overall

I mean, there is a clear difference in when and where we are picking once we have Josh and are winning 10-13 game a year. Which significantly changes the level of players we are going to acquire in "the 1st round". Picking in the Top 10 vs Bottom 10 (or even bottom 5) makes it tougher.

We could definitely hindsight the Oliver pick, but does having Jeffery Simmons or Brian Burns get us past KC? And Ed looks to finally be coming into his own, 🤞.

Outside of Elam, I dont see any glaring misses. Rousseau is developing, Kincaid is already on his way to becoming a star.

But I agree that Beane has had a lot of doubles and triples, but no home runs since Josh (maybe Kincaid will get there). My bigger beef with Beane is his handling of 2nd round picks. We've missed out on a bunch of home runs that were sitting in our laps because Beane gets stuck on certain guys or blinded trying to execute some plan.

I agree. Just hoping Beane can hit that home run and get another superstar.

So why ban guns if, as you just posted... Guns are not the problem?!?!?! 🤣

Any gun used to assault is by definition an assault weapon. If you're referring to how big, black, and shiny the gun then that's not the definition of an assault rifle.

More guns, more death. That’s the point you refuse to comprehend.

Here’s a peer reviewed study that backs up the correlation.

Hepburn, Lisa M., and David Hemenway, “Firearm availability and homicide: A review of the literature,” Aggression and Violent Behavior 9, no. 4 (2004): 417-440.

On topical face I can see where one would be misled to believe this. Before that's even a concept to discuss the 2nd amendment ensures some rights.

Besides, who in government would you actually trust to oversee us?  I can't think of anyone.

Someone already brought up god and religion and was mocked. 🤷🏼‍♂️

You don’t think there’s a correlation between the number of guns in the US and the number of mass shootings?

Majority of Americans accept the 2nd Amendment and agree with Justice Scalia’s opinion in Heller that while we have a right to own guns, it is NOT an unlimited right to own every firearm in existence. Majority of Americans favor sensible gun law regulations and do not embrace the wild west gun culture we have currently. Poll after poll after poll bears this out.

I should have chosen my words better. Not enough people who favour sensible gun laws vote to have those laws enacted.

Take the number of death by gun. Remove suicide. The rate drops significantly. Take the amount of crime commited with legally obtained guns. You can break it down even further but it's an ugly wormhole to show all of the problems with the simple "gun culture" argument.

And... Folks wonder why no one takes arguments about this seriously. A legitimate question was asked and is often asked without a reasonable response.

I don’t understand the point you think you’re making.

US has too many guns and not enough oversight, it’s a pretty obvious correlation.
