Are we in a war?  Nope.

If that happens, we can discuss further.

So far, this is a military action and nothing more.   If it spills into regime change and US troops on the ground, sure, would seem contradictory to everything Trump stands for.

Trump 45 literally yeeted dudes off the earth and told us they died like a dog.  No war came of it.

I don’t know…..like, you think this guy is making rational, informed decisions?

Sleepy Joe was an invalid, so no idea who was calling the shots. But can we all not agree that Trump is an impulsive narcissist? I don’t feel confident with a tv show personality who is propped up by a cult of uneducated and gullible electorate calling shots when we’re talking about bombing Iran.

Sorry you don't get to say what's funny, appropriate or really anything at all about the actions of any POTUS when your party blatantly lied for four years straight about the last President not having oatmeal for brains while you nodded along.

You can sit this out and continue to cope and seethe.

I realize everyone who doesn’t buy into Trump’s idiocy is painted with the same brush, but it’s not accurate.

The EU and Canada are working together to put an end to reliance on US defence contractors, to the tune of $1.25 trillion. I know the US doesn’t care or need anything from anyone, so obviously not on their radar. But ending dependence on the US is definitely on everyone else’s radar.

  4. It’s wild that MAGAts find humour in Trump trolling an ally.

Canada announced today that we’re looking to join Europe’s defence partnership and do so by July 1. The US cannot be trusted to honour their deals, so might as well accept that we’re no longer allies and move forward with allies that can be trusted.

I seriously can't believe i'm still talking about McConkey. The whole way leading up to the Draft I was saying "he's not an Outside WR, he's not a fit for us". People fought tooth and nail with me to say "he's an Outside WR". Some even saying "wait until we Draft him, i'll have the receipts loaded".

Draft comes and he's on the board. We don't pick him. We pick someone who is a full time Outside WR. As expected. Because we already had Slot WR's and guys who will split time in the Slot and literally nothing else (save for Mack Hollins).

The Chargers pick him. Proceed to use him in the Slot for 65% of his snaps. While having almost nothing on the Outside.

The Chargers lose Josh Palmer this offseason. Rather than say they're going to switch McConkey to the Outside, they spend a 2nd Round Pick on a WR for the second year in a row (McConkey last year) to fill the role, after bringing back Mike Williams as their Tre White like insurance with us.

Yet still, here we are, with people saying "it's criminal they didn't take McConkey". It's utterly baffling to me.

If you need a Boundary CB, you don't take a Nickel. If you need a 1T DT, you don't Draft a 3T DT. If you need a Tackle, you don't Draft a Guard. If you need a Middle Linebacker, you don't Draft an Outside Linebacker. And if you need an Outside WR.... you don't Draft a Slot. McConkey was a WR, but he wasn't the right type of WR. It's as simple as that.

Keon isn’t an outside receiver though…he’s just a jump ball guy with suspect hands lol

That's how he chooses to conduct business. Some people collaborate well with others and some people are bulldogs that are going to try and push others around with force. I know that in NYC, where he learned his ways, that if you are a lamb you will be eaten alive by the lions. Different way of doing things

Trump isn’t trying to buy another hotel, he’s supposed to be the president of a superpower. There are real consequences, not just declaring bankruptcy again. It’s wild that people think Trump’s way of conducting himself is acceptable, but I suppose a large percentage of his supporters don’t even understand what the word diplomacy means.

The defense has always been a liability against KC in the playoffs even when it was top 5 in the NFL.

This is exactly why it’s hard to get excited about giving McD weapons. The constant issue with KC beating us hasn’t been a lack of talent on the defensive side, it’s been piss poor coaching.

So I understand the idea of dedicating assets to the weaker side of the ball, but we’re hoping for two things here that realistically won’t happen: that Beane can finally hit on D Line picks, and that McD won’t get out coached.

In the latest playoff loss, we had a chance to win the game but our QB has zero weapons outside of a good line, and we came up just short. I’d rather just accept that KC is going to move the ball at will and give Allen weapons to try and outscore KC. At least Allen is capable of using the weapons he’s given…McD, not so much.

  8. These ***** idiots have no clue what they’re doing…and the lemmings keep posting Fox News graphics to defend them.

Today the trade secretary said Canada and Mexico were getting the 10% baseline tariff…they an hour later the WH said it wasn’t sure, another hour later they weren’t getting it.

And these idiots are going to go toe-to-toe with China? A powerful, smart and ruthless country…good ***** luck.

Right now, a kindling tire fire.  Before right now, a good economy.  Unfortunately, of course, not everyone felt the good economy because there are many who are burdened by laziness, and inattention in school, and obesity, and stupid management of their finances.  They whined about prices, and eggs, and it being too expensive to live.  Now it's worse.  This is what MAGA got them.

I don't either but the debt is on track to grow much faster than under Biden, the market is down, and we're staring at the possibility of stagflation.  This is a mess.

Yooo…why my fat ass gotta catch a stray? I stayed in school…sheesh

These tariffs are way too much too fast. I know that Trump is banking on this resulting in negotation and better rates, but a trade war seems to be the more likely result,  I do not listen to fox or CNN when deciding how a President is doing in the economy, I look at monthly expenses, retirement savings, and how my family and friends at various income levels are doing . I do not like what I have seen in the last three months, so I am not pleased about the direction with tariffs so far.

What that being said, I will give it more time because it takes more than one decision to fix the mess that was created.. In case Trump's ideas fail, what does your party have to offer to address the debt if they get power back?  At some point, the US is going to have to pay the piper. I would rather have that on our terms instead of on China's. What would be the left's plan to fix it? I've heard nothing from the left but "tax the rich more.", but this doesn't work as the only option because there are still trillions in debt after you've drained them and the rich know how to work around heavy taxes. What I have seen from Democrat candidates over the past 20 years are promises to the people that sound great on paper, but add trillions to the debt. The Republicans have done this to an extent too, but dems treat the US budget like a Beverly Hills teen girl on a shopping spree with daddy's credit card.

Your last post added nothing to the table. If TDS people do not like what happened yesterday, great, I agree. How about offering an alternative instead of whining and saying the same exact one liners and cheap tweetable propaganda that we have seen every day since 2016? We know that you all hate Trump. My question to you or the others is what is your proposed method for turning around the economy, helping the US bring in more than they spend and stopping the cycle of increased debt?

Off the top of my head:

    -engage stakeholders (allies, companies, workers)

    - provide a coherent plan with CPIs that are measurable, timelines

    - communication

These are simple project management principles, that aren’t being implemented…and this project is an attempt to reset global trade. What we saw was a joke, and that’s an objective view.
