Panthers were better everywhere, with a tie at QB.
Crazy how you can see the 1990’s team building philosophy in both rosters.

Other - Josh Allen
Guy does everything for this franchise, way underpaid.

Unfortunately they will be here till the new stadium and beyond cause Pegula is an owner who really doesn’t care
Exactly. It’s just a business to Pegula, and McBeane do just enough to stay afloat.

From what I can gather, he wasn't always put in positions to succeed there. They were running screens with him. Like, what? Also throwing prayers up to him when double or triple covered or when the defender has established leverage. There were consistently under thrown balls to him, causing more contested catch situations than needed (and having to wait for a ball and the defender getting back in the play makes it harder for a receiver than just a normal 50/50 ball).
I actually think he might do much better in the pros with a much better QB throwing to him and not being the focal point of the offense. Of course, he'll also be going up against better talent, but I expect he will be used more appropriately than he was in college.
Well yeah, why was he running go routes all the time? I think he was mismanaged in college. They had him doing everything, including a lot of things that played to his weaknesses, not strengths.
He’s going to be put out wide in Buffalo, when he looks like he’d be more successful as a slot guy. So it might be the same story here.

Terry Fontenot destroys this entire post

Not sure if it’s allowed, but I wanted BTJ and would have traded up once he lasted into the 20s.
Coleman could work out, but from all the scouting I’ve read about him, it seems like he’d be a better slot receiver than X.

Seems like a great kid, here’s to hoping he’s successful at the next level. Scramble drill plays was an interesting point, might be a good fit with Allen’s backyard style.

Yeah, I just don’t understand the Coleman pick, which makes this draft a huge dud for me.

I remember Bean said that beating press was a strength for Coleman and that was one of the reasons they drafted him.
I know, which is really what has me confused. He not really efficient vs zone either.

This place is insufferable during the draft with clowns like you and these hot takes
So it’s a hot take to say I can’t understand why you’d take a WR that data shows is historically bad against press coverage (55.2%) while Beane justifies the pick by saying KC is great vs press?
KC is historically slow, data backs this up also. I’m not gaslighting, my criticisms are well documented.
And calling me clown? Maybe emotional posters violating the COC are what makes this place insufferable. Just a thought, tough guy.

I am no expert. But drafting a guy that slow who can’t separate or win versus press is crazy to me.

Coleman ran a 4.61
Jordan Davis is 350lbs and ran a 4.78
This is a disgrace

Trading with KC, a team that is better and smarter than OBD in every sense, makes me angry. Like, you know they outclass you on the field and off, avoid helping them at all costs. Whatever, let's run the ball and pretend it's 1990, and continue wasting a unicorn QB.

KC takes your lunch money everyday, and you help them? Buffalo is a legit loser franchise.

I know I’m old, but I wouldn’t want my QB hopping into the stands to cry in his mommy’s arms.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but would be a nice touch to have a moment for those who we’ve lost.
Pancho will be top of mind for most. I remember Kristen too, who was a beautiful young woman.

Joe is such a great listen. I bought his Go Bills book, and also enjoyed it a lot.

Buffalo is a tough city to be a sports fan in

Yeah. But we wouldn’t have landed Josh, who I’d much rather have. Also, doesn’t mean PM would have been as good as he is in Buffalo.
I agree, just more fodder for my buddies to bust my chops with though

Bills traded away pick that was used to select GOAT player.
I understand the situation at the time but it just adds to the misery of a franchise that is a punchline.

Diggs liked a tweet, probably an emotional response, and Bills Mafia can’t let it go. Tough look.
Dawkins will be a great politician, lol.

Allen has 5-7 years left in him, most likely. Those PSLs won’t be worth much a few years from now, imo. Buffalo is a great football area but a middling franchise, and once the unicorn is long in the tooth, I would expect there’s a good chance mediocrity ensues.

Grade Beane’s extension for Diggs lol
Warren Sharp - Josh Allen 2nd ranked QB in the "Gotta Have It" clutch drives since 2000

Unfortunately, McD is coach and that’s never gonna change. Losing four straight SBs wasn’t enough pain for this fan base, now we gotta watch an inept coach squander the career of one of the greatest players of all time. Fun.
