I'm sure lots of teams also like him a lot - if he's given a large contract he can't refuse (length, guarantees, etc.) it won't be with us.
But if he's interested in betting on himself this offseason with a short term deal to play in an offense that maximizes his strengths, we have to be atop that list.

I really like Felton and if this thread was dedicated towards us having a look at him instead of your current title I'm sure you'd be getting a much different reception. No need to cut Singletary, but he can certainly be upgraded.

That's a fair counterpoint but like...he's been here for 3+ weeks and has had familiarity with the E-P offense Daboll runs. On a little bit of a tangent, Beane also kept his eye on getting him for quite a while beforehand. Even if it isn't the full route tree, a large amount of snaps, or if our WRs need to help him line up or know his routes, I don't see how we wouldn't have had marginal improvement with him being out there over a hobbled Davis in 4WR sets.

Hall of Very Good or Fame?
Very curious to see the route the Colts take at QB with their win-now roster and litany of cap space - Stafford and Garoppolo make sense as trade targets, and if Dallas lets Dak test the market, I don't see a better fit for him

Cover1 showed a few plays on their breakdown which had some motions to help ID coverages, so it's not quite as black and white as it may appear. I agree it's shown up a good bit less, esp jet sweeps and whatnot, but it has been there.
From what I recall, lots of the motion and position of the safeties pre snap helped indicate what seemed to be a 0 look, only for the Ravens to haul ass and give a completely different look (Diggs first overthrow, the second overthrow when he was open was a result of Lee Smith doing some motion, among others)

Great article. I really liked that snippet about how he was focused so hard on working on his deceleration, and how the bulk of his highlights we see are just that. Recruiting the rest of his teammates to work out in Florida with his trainer was also very cool to hear!

Our third down conversion rate - best in the league throughout the year - slipped big time. Martindale will likely have a really aggressive gameplan so I am a little nervous about how that may go.

I think this photo came out shortly after things he finalized his contract and I was...in awe?
Looked up some of his mic'd ups with Carolina and saw/heard lots of intensity and detail in his approach, and I liked that
As for the press conference, I got absolutely nothing out of it, and I was okay with that - polar opposite to Rex like Yolo had mentioned earlier. He seemed polite (asking reporters their names) and too reserved.

His pre-draft process where he spurned the A's and continued to stay vague as towards what sport he was committed towards rubbed me the wrong way from the start. From the sideline cam of the bills and seahawks games, he looked like a combination of pissed and pouting from what I had seen, too.
That said, I'm not sure what this article's intent was aside from a few Bart Scott quotes - a single former player that has not played with him. That can be Arizona's (potential) problem - no need to associate with us and randomly raise Josh on a pedestal, yeah?

Miami's schedule is polarizing from this quarter to the next: chargers, broncos, jets, and bengals - followed by chiefs, patriots, raiders, and us. Everyone can ride the dolphin **** for this month by all means, but the real games for them will be in December, where I anticipate us to be in control by Week 17.

Tre has never been among the biggest or fastest of CBs out there - and that definitely cost him on the jump ball. For the most part, I didn't see him being directly responsible for too many big plays - he's the least of the defense's concerns for me.

All sorts of angles to pursue - getting a flashy FA like Haason Reddick, giving Dodson a chance, spending a high draft pick on a sure-thing, a value FA like how Darryl Williams was for us this year, spending a mid-round pick like how Milano was (only for him to gradually take over), a completely unexpected trade...
