I'm sure Tampa is itching to get it done and take on dead cap for Tom

The free trip to Hawaii (or wherever TF it is these days, I stopped caring), extra little bonus $$$, and getting to hang out with fellow superstar players for a week definitely seems enticing and hard to pass up on...
If anything, this is either Josh still mourning like the rest of us and/or him giving the league a middle finger for not nominating him in the first place

Allen/McDermott = Allen/McDermott
All these comments about the Bulls/Pistons/Knicks or Manning/Elway/Marino are getting exhausting and annoying
Sit back. Enjoy the ride. We're blessed to have the GM/HC/QB that we do. Onto next year.

If we're playing the FA wishlist game, it should start and end with Von Miller and Chandler Jones.
If they want a ring, come on down. If they're interested in a bidding war, peace out.

This one may have been a tad off, but he's got three more shots with our future matchups! 🤞

Not bad for second place…we still could’ve used Tyrod though as peterman was absolute dogsh*t and it led to us forcing our rookie qb into action on a terrible roster earlier than planned. I feel like cordy was completely expendable when we traded him.
True but that pick was used as ammo to move up and get Edmunds after already securing Josh, so the long term gains outweigh the short term pains

More of a lurker than a poster nowadays, but I will be making the drive up there! More than happy to keep in touch and possibly meet up with TBD posters that are going to this one

More of a lurker than a poster these days buuuuut I'll be going too! More than happy to meet up with some fellow bills fans
I'll keep my eye on this thread and other posts online closer to the day

Every now and then, I do like checking out non-bills articles on the site and with how good of a writer Fairburn has been for us, he'll give good insight for a team I'll continue to be very curious about in the short and long-term future.
It sucks to lose him and MLJ to division rivals of all people, but we stay in good hands with Joe B. among all the other members of the Buffalo sports media these days.

Actually they have. Personally I could care less who calls the game. The only thing I care about is the Bills walk off the field around 4:00 with a 1-0 record. The Bills are one of the top teams and the Steelers are extremely popular with national appeal. Romo and Nantz will either do our game or Fins-Pats.
Just got another text from the Jets. The Jets are going to London to play Atlanta.
I think I saw a tweet that mentioned Jim and Tony are going to do Browns Chiefs in the afternoon. Regardless, I'd be more than happy with Harlan or Eagle. Odds are we'll be the feature game in the 1pm CBS slate.

Tuitele from FS strong kid 36 on bench 6’5” 315. I’m Fresno State season ticket holder he’s mauler who played RT. Think Bills move him inside since he’s not 6’8” 😂, but that’s his best chance. Will have shot at PS but for his sake wish he had signed w Bengals or Jets.

McDermott has consistently gone light on CBs and seems confident in his ability to coach them up. It's frustrating, but it seems to be a reality of this regime.
Yeah, and for that exact reason, we'd all be extra-excited to see him draft and coach up a higher-ranked player with good traits since it's clearly worked out with Tre

it’s almost like the news he broke is that the discussions were happeningOnly to be followed by conflicting reports of that exact thing...

They could get him, but they also could not.
Can I get reporter credentials?

he is disgruntled and a UFA after this season. To roughly get a mid second rounder for him is a steal.
He was disgruntled because he wanted to continue playing LT instead of going back to right with Stanley healthy - that was the basis of this trade request. Schefter also mentioned they're going to start negotiating an extension. Similar trade-and-extend deals have happened before: Frank Clark with KC, Dee Ford leaving them to sf, Buckner going from sf to ind, etc.

Groan
I'm surprised the Ravens couldn't have gotten a better haul, and that they willingly traded a pro bowl OT to KC of all teams, a direct competitor for this conference
Odds are he'll get an extension, too - Pat went from getting demolished in the SB to now having Thuney and Brown on his line...

they got 10 home games?!? How’d they swing that? Damn you, Brady...
Lol whoops, misread - edited accordingly

Looking through Tampa's home opponents this year, it's us, NO, ATL, CAR, DAL, NYG, MIA, CHI,
WFT, and INDI have to say we're one of the likelier/respected teams - and would guess it'll either be NOLA (post Drew, Jameis vs his teammates with rings), Dallas for the flashy headlines and Dak's return, or us. Also, I'd rather play Brady earlier on in the season as opposed to when he gets into his groove mid-late season.
If it's not Tampa, one of our division rivals or the Colts with a huge question mark in Carson Wentz would be good

I don't want the Bills to have to spend a 3rd round pick for Ertz.
That said, I'm not sure who could realistically be selected with the 30th pick in the 3rd round that would have as big (and instant) an impact on the Bills as Ertz would.
Recent third round picks by the Bills: Harrison Phillips, Devin Singletary, Zach Moss, Dawson Knox.
I think I'd be okay with a 2022 3rd. Beane could find a way to trade down in rounds 1 or 2 this year or next year and recoup the pick.I'll be surprised if the offer is that high (like what Rodney Hudson went for, which is still mind-blowing), and if it was I feel the Eagles would have pulled the trigger instead of reportedly wanting a stronger offer.
All indications are that they're intent on doing this to shed cap, so acquiring him can be (somewhat) looked at as a favor for them.

I mean, did he have a choice?
Fair point - and exactly why the bills opted to give him a choice (before maybe testing the FA waters for an upgrade) is the bigger question

Neal is someone I would look at to replace what Milano does
Paying 3 safeties hefty money doesn't really sound too logical, right? I get that Neal is an athletic box safety but I have my doubts both he and this team envision making something like that work

Any guesses as to who he was talking about?
When Cleveland released Kirksey (college teammate and roomate IIRC), he was trying to recruit him, but it's not like the Packers were an unattractive destination either. Otherwise, I have no idea
But between him, Tre, Diggs, and (presumably) Josh - and then some - there's definitely lots of ambassadors for this team and I'm sure vets will be more than happy to listen

Great work! Will other positions (e.g. CB and their potential fits in the Bills scheme) possibly be on deck?
