  1. Nobody knows if any of the dumpster diving WR's we signed this offseason will make an impactful contribution

All I know is over a 2 year span we lost Goodwin, Hogan, and Woods and replaced them with Holmes, Brown, and a bunch of nobodies

Meanwhile the Phins lost no-one and went out and upgraded their offense with the addition of Julius Thomas

Its hard not to be uber-jealous

I mean who team has the better receiving corps and is most likely to win 10 games plus next year?

    Ryan Tannehill still sucks.

  2.

Trump credits his Twitter wrath for Kaepernick's unemployment
Then the President clarified he was citing an article he had read.
"It was reported that NFL owners don't want to pick him up because they don't want to get a nasty tweet from Donald Trump," he said. "Do you believe that? I just saw that. I just saw that."

Trump can seriously go !@#$ himself for this.

  3.

I agree with both of you...............Trump is sure no conservative.................and someone with little control of his mouth,

but the cabinet............and the questioning of ALL government spending requirements is long overdue and required someone who has not been a lifelong politician.

    .

This is also a fair point.

  4.

That's somewhat understandable because the principles I want in my elected officials tend much closer to constitutional conservative, self-accountability, self-responsibility, much smaller government, etc.

So by definition, the closest I've ever come to hearing/seeing a useful Democrat has been limited to Joe Trippe and Kirsten Powers. The Harry Reids, Nancy Pelosis, Chuck Shumers, Wasserman Schultzs have turned the Democrats into nothing more than a punch line to a bad joke. Unfortunately, the DNC comprises people who simply do everything they're told (which is how ACA got through) regardless of the outcome.

Trump is no conservative. He's not even a half-way decent Republican. He's a leftist nutbag surrounded by opportunist nutbags. So far he's done the one thing I had hoped he would do: pick a rock-solid supreme court nominee. If he can do it again after RBG completes her metamorphosis to a raisin, then I'm good. Otherwise, the only value he brings to the table is the way he makes leftists crap purple twinkies in a swimming pool every time he opens his mouth.

Pretty much agreed with you on all your points. And I'm sorry for making that assumption, by the way.

  5.

Most of us here aren't. We're just laughing our asses off at the Democrats' hypocritical meltdown.

Also: doesn't matter. It's like Obama's birth certificate. The accusation's made, so the lines are drawn, 80% of America's convinced one way or another. No amount of facts either way is going to change that.

I still find the assumption that it did have an effect surprising. Podesta's emails, Comey's letter to Congress...neither was really anything new; and the DNC and the Clinton campaign's relative contempt for the electorate, and Clinton's emails issues, had been issues for months and were already factored in to the election.

Lotta organizations have been blowing leads these days!

  6. You have no clue.

I genuinely thought he was....given his tone. My apologies.

Do you need a hug or something? It's just a message forum. Sheesh.

Sorry man. Didn't mean to lead you on like that. I really thought he was a Trump supporter...but then again I haven't been here for long either

  7.

Yesterday, a few sports writer were posting an article about Kaep helping secure an airplane to take supplies to Somalia.

If it was just "What a nice thing he did," I'd get it. But it more along the lines of "How can you people be down on this guy?"

I'll never understand the lazy thinking that says "This guy is a douchebag, but he did something nice, so he's not longer a douchebag." I mean, I get it with the sports writers because they all typically agree with whatt Kaep did. Hell, Timmah Graham compared him to Ali.

But overall, I like to think people are smarter than your average sports writer and see through the PR stunt, regardless of whether it does good.

Kaepernick has been doing "nice things" for a very long time. This isn't the first charitable thing he's done...

Absolutely! I've been advocating this for years. We as consumers should have the ability to purchase our medical services in a la carte manner. Price transparency. Menu of options.

We should be able to go online to a web service provider where you can plug in a zip code and if you need to get a colonoscopy or an MRI, all the participating providers list the price that they offer that medical service for.

For anyone who wants to learn more about what is truly driving up healthcare prices, you should read this. I remember reading this back in 2013, Steve Brill - Bitter Pill

It's sort of a long read, but it profoundly changed the way I viewed what was at the heart of rising medical prices. Here is a hint, it's not the insurers.

I'm into these kind of things, I try to understand the fundamental problems rather than the talking points that I see all over social media and even here. Which is a part of the reason why I take these little breaks from this site. Watching the retard slap fights on this board can be boring.

I try to encourage substantive debate but to little avail :bag:

    This is a fantastic post.
