You’re giving him way too much credit. By acting this way, he’s cut down the number of teams willing to sign him tremendously. So he can’t just “go wherever he wants” now. And he just urinated away $30 million on top of that.

There was no master plan, he’s just a headcase.

Yeah, no, there was no "plan."  The dude is mentally ill.  He demanded a new contract with huge money from any team stupid enough to trade for him and still couldn't behave himself enough to ensure he got his guaranteed money.  If his plan was to be traded anywhere, he could have taken far less money.

    Again time will tell.

Sure he got a big contract that came with a way out and his agent isn't stupid.

What teams are going to pass on him? Teams that don't have a strong locker room and winning culture. Kid yourself not, NE could bring him on and he would be a model citizen and would cause no issues. Brady would have his ass in check from the start and he'd be winning games and in the playoffs and probably a Super Bowl.

  2. They need to offer a Team streaming option.

Honestly I only watch the Bills game and I'm not into fantasy, so the redzone and fantasy channel are something I just don't use.

I think if they offered a team only package for say 4 payments of $30 - $50/mo they would get a lot more users.

I live in the Phoenix area so Sunday Ticket is great for me, and I've found a great way to add it.

I moved here last summer and purchased a RokuTv from Best Buy from there I signed up for DirectTVNow (now called AT&T Now) for $55/mo I get a good amount of stations and HBO (my package is no longer offered) https://www.atttvnow.com Whats great is there is no satellite on my place and no cable wire as its all streaming. From there I could get SundayTicket and there's an app for RokuTv for that.

Shared in hopes it helps someone out.

Not sure about this.  Pretty much every other team is going to be turned off to AB, who has a negative track record with the Steelers AND the Raiders in less than a year's time span.

Pretty sure those voidable guarantee clauses are standard.

I thought he would pull antics by week 5 or 6 when they have been losing and he isnt getting the ball. I think you give AB too much credit. He knew the Raiders sucked when he agreed to a contract extension. I hope no teams sign him but there will be a couple teams willing to take a chance.

Time will tell. The NFL does some strange things. Last year KC kicked Hunt out and he's not on the Browns all while Hill beats his kid and he got a new contract. Clearly KC doesn't mind a good kid beating but keep your hands off your wife. Point is NFL teams only care about the bottom line and winning.

I really don't think AB is off his rocker, I think this was a damn good plan going into all of this. The Steelers were not going to release him so he forced a trade and that contract was stupid, I get the voidable on guarantee but seriously they were easy to meet and yet he gave the Raiders a way to void them and in turn let him walk with out paying a penny. Then you add in the antics with the helmet, there is no way that dude is that far off his rocker.

He will be on another team and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in NE and has a great year and wins a SB. He wants to be on a team that will get him the ball as much as possible and NE fits that bill.

  4. You guys are looking at this all wrong. This was the plan. He signed a deal that the team could void all the guarantees? Who agrees to that?

he got there, saw how bad the team is and talked it over with his agent and they did everything they could so he could hit the open market.

He can now pick where he wants to play. Have to give him credit, it was brilliant. Wrong but brilliant.

I have a family member living in a long term care facility in NH. How can I get get Bills games for him so he doesn’t lose his mind?

I don’t have a dish, I bought a Roku ready TV got DirectTV Now (it’s been changed to AT&T TV Now) and that only costs $55/mo with HBO and from there I signed up for SundayTicket and added the App on the TV and I get it with no problem and best of all I can just plug my TV in any outlet and as long as I have WIFI I have TV

That's a complete fiction propagated by fans, but with no basis in reality.

BB mentioned clearly that they shopped Shady around but found no trade partners.

You bolded my comment and then leave this?

“I THINK...” the is no fact to my comment other than my own opinion and thought, can’t be wrong, can’t be correct.

Bean also stated McCoy is free to go where he wants and he earned that.

  7. This wasn’t about the contract at all. I don’t think Shady fit what the Bills were looking for at RB. They want a guy that will hit the hole, McCoy likes to dance and read and ends up with too many negative plays. Sure he can hit the big play but stalled drives and starting second and 12 isn’t great.

i also think they didn’t want to insult him with a trade to a ***** team, now he’s free to go where he wants.

best of luck to him, he was one of my favorites.

Just now?  It's a year pre-season tradition going back at least 10 years.  You've got a group of fans telling people this season is going to be different and those who take the wait and see approach.

    ¿Que?

Sorry bro, just not following your response to my joke at all. Maybe I'm more tired than I think or I'm just on the struggle bus today.

I guarantee he's a lot less top heavy now that he's getting tested.

There's a big window between the end of college football a rookie's first PED test.   Just ask Aaron Maybin.

You can juice away (assuming you use the right anabolic or hgh).

I think Maybins weight loss was around 30lbs when he had to go natural.  Metcalf is probably quite a bit smaller now, might help his chances to stay healthy.

With the mass that he put on I'd bet money he kick started a test cycle with a D-Bol cycle and more than likely finished with a Winny cycle. He's definitely not natural and I wouldn't be surprised if his recovery included some T-Bol. There's plenty of time to work that out of your system.

Funny thing about that: If you change the channel, almost like magic, it goes away!

So, obviously I don't watch the show and again my comment was part of an ongoing conversation with someone else.

Lets put it back into context, each year they seek a team out and each year some fans hope the Bills are that team, IMO it's a huge distraction and I'd rather the team and its coaches focus on what they are doing rather than trying to entertain for the sake of the show.

Now my comment that was taken out of context has now been returned.

How is it you can get Sunday Ticket by streaming? Don't they have a bunch of restrictions on that? Like you have to live in an apartment complex that doesn't allow satellites or be a college student in a dorm room? So basically a minuscule percentage of the population is eligible to stream Sunday Ticket that way without an actual DirecTV subscription.

Well, DirectTV Now (AT&T Now is the new name) is just their streaming service and since I have a subscription to that I can get Sunday Ticket.

I get a decent amount of TV stations, I don't get NFL Network and that sucks but I think with a more expensive package I could, but I get ESPN (I don't really watch that) and I get HBO on top of that I can stream through two devices at one time (that includes my RokuTVs).

I pay $55/mo for my package (including tax) and then I just pay for Sunday Ticket every year.

Yep, and these coaching staffs sure as hell don't need to play 4 games to figure out who stays and goes.

The whole thing sucks and should be canned.  There's just no need for it, other than making $$$..but the teams could do that in other ways that are more forgiving to the fans.

I'm curious, how are you making that determination, exactly?

Just in how they are carrying themselves on the sidelines. I'm not saying it's translating into production on the field but you can definitely see the team chemistry, the D and O seem to be cheering each other on instead of being 2 separate units.

  13. I’m not sure about in your area, but I dumped cable and cords and purchased Roku TVs when I moved and installed the DirectTV now app, I get all the network stations and HBO for $55/mo.

I can only use 2 TVs at a time but it’s just me so no biggie, I thing you can add more for $10 each.

I can also get SundayTicket and it uses an app as well.

I love it. Probably because I’m obsessed with football though. It helps get me through the pre-season and up to the regular season. In the regular season I get NFL Monday, Thursday and Sunday and college the other days.

I have a lot of friends that like it, I’m just not a fan of reality tv, and I feel like that show is somewhat forced.

I’m sure it’s somewhat of a distraction. I think the magnitude of be distraction is overblown. I would absolutely love to see the Bills selected for this show next year if they miss the playoffs this season (otherwise they wouldn’t be eligible).

I can’t stand the show, I’d rather see it go away.

PED use is RAMPANT in the NFL. You think all these guys are natural? Tests are a joke hence why so few people get caught. And if you dislike it so much, how come you're not up in arms that in most other sports the first time you get caught you get banned at least 2 years while in the NFL it's 4 games... or a gigantic 6 in this case?

Hell, crossfit is the worst for PEDs. They teach bad from and people get hurt, they take PEDs to recover and back at the crossfit gym.
