  1. A great 2018 draft.

1st,1st round pick Mason Rudolph QB, Oklahoma St. Some say this is high but I think he is going to have a great year and he's the guy.

2nd 1st round pick James Washington WR Oklahoma St. Instant chemistry for our franchise QB.

1st 2nd round pick Jarmarco Jones OT, Ohio St, Slide Dion Dawkins into G and the line is a lot better.

2nd 2nd Round pick Ronnie Harrison S, Alabama Enforcer in McDermott's defense.

1st 3rd round pick Lowell Lotuleli DT, Utah, depth at DT to cover for Dareus.

2nd 3rd round pick Kallen Ballege RB, Arizona St, Big back who can catch, good for West Coast Offense.

3rd 3rd round pick (comp), Chris Worley LB, Ohio St. Depth at Linebacker.

How many games you watch Rudolph play? I Live in OK and have seen about every pass this guy has thrown. I dont see what the hype is on this guy. I am friends with tons of OSU fans and they don't get it either

  2. This is why I urge fans (esp at draft time) to ignore the damn media, they don't know crap. We need RG and RT shored up before WR. We need a damn QB who can get whomever we have at WR the ball.

Sure WR will be addressed next offseason, but its not our worst position

Aren't these 2 different team evaluations contradicting each other? The exec blasts Baltimore for paying too much for players while they are not a contender. He thinks the Browns have a better situation - more "flexibility". But then blasts the Bills for getting rid of Sammy. We're not contending, nor will we be in the next 3 years, but he wants us to get into a situation where we would give "top 5" money" to a guy who is "often hurt"?

    Yep. These "evaluations" are crap

  3.

Hughes is probably the least lazy person on the Bills. They guy has a motor that doesn't stop...hurts him sometimes but he's a guy that will give everything on every play.

Getting in fights, costing us in games, getting into it with coaches is something Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New England etc won't tolerate and neither should Buffalo IF they want to actually turn this around.

We're going to find out that's for sure, but no one owes them implicitly blind trust just because they talk a good game.

Not blind trust what they are doing has worked for successful franchises. Do you not think those two haven't watched the Cluster That has been the Bills from afar? Other teams they have been with have had good success, Buffalo has been the example on how NOT to run a franchise. Right now, just do the opposite of what we have done for 17 years is an improvement.

  4.

Yes. Trust the process and never question anything like a good little milquetoast fan.

I have questioned the absolute crap of doing things at OBD since 1996 when Kelly retired and the last 17 with crap GM's and HC's. You and your boy Scotty seem to want to keep status quo. We have no playoffs with the "talent" you two are whining over. No playoffs with letting Dareus act like a fat crybaby and Watkins sit in the tub with what, 10 "injuries"?

Yeah the way you guys have supported has worked out so well.

Past time to get rid of way over hyped, over valued, overpaid "talent".

So yes, I love what McBeane is doing and I support this process because I see what the process is, I see what they are doing and why they are doing it and know its needed.

  5. Is this boot camp or football?

Get rid of Hughes while we are at it.

Who needs talent when you have culture and discipline.... and losses?

Hughes is close to finding the street as well, he keeps his crap up. Bottom line, Watkins, Dareus, Hughes whomever wouldnt be lazy, half assing it and whining about contracts in New England, you know the Boot camp of the NFL.

  6.

As usual you come through with a nuanced, measured, and reasonable take. Keep up the good work.

And I care what you have to say about my posts? You and your buddy Scott have no damn clue on what is going on, why it SHOULD be happening and why it should have happened years ago.

I love everything McBeane is doing and look forward to ridding ourself of more over hyped, BS players like Watkins and Dareus in the future

You used to hang over at BuffaloBills.com didn't you?

LMAO Great response Scott. Ill just sit back and keep watching you and 26 implode over this team finally getting it and making the right moves

  7. Yes.

Showing up high as !@#$ and wasted is a real leader.

No I didn't or wouldn't put Dareus in the same category as LT. He was arguably the best defensive player of all time.

Dareus is still a top 10 DT in this league despite his lack of motivation or concern at times. You don't give those guys away.

Yeah you do, he is a lazy ass that only plays when he wants to. You see LT WAS the greatest, so you put up with his crap. Dareus isn't even close so you dont'. I for one hope when he is gone you follow him and add to it whatever jersey the other lazy, not worth the BS player in Watkins will be at.

  8. NO ONE up front played well in Rexs defense.

This year will tell a lot with Dareus, but I think he will play very well in a traditional 4-3 get after the QB defense. And if he's late to a few meetings but blowing up the backfield on game days then so be it.

Like I said, he's too good to just release.

Dareus is a fat, lazy problem child and not worth it at all. You keep screaming young talent blah blah blah, but none of the guys you love are worth their bull crap. You can bet his ass will be gone this offseason with a post June 1st designation and HE SHOULD BE.

I, and many others, are past the BS with clowns like him.

  9. They could trade him and get a cap savings though.

And they dont have to absorb 24M if cut.

They need another 8M (over his current cap hit) to abosrb cutting him.

So they absolutely can without cutting other players. So Gleason is correct they can do it technically. So i wonder before bashing maybe you need to understand the cap

Now that said no way buffalo should move on from Dareus

Absolutely they should. Lazy problem child that only plays half time IF he feels like it. He isn't worth the BS, maybe he can do well else where, but I doubt it. I bet he would collect a paycheck and be his same self there.

I get rid of him now if it were me

  10. Do you think it is possible that Brandon Spikes could draw some interest from the Bills? I know he wasn't known to be a great cover guy but I always liked his leadership and toughness. He didn't seem to fit in with Rex's team but he is a FA and I'm sure he could still ball better than some of the guys we have on our roster.

So you want to bring back an older and slower version of Ragland?
