  1. Not necessarily.

They traded/didn't resign some of the young talent. Why? No idea.

How many times does it have to be explained to you before you understand?

You mean the same Williams and Wood who have long been part of the very mediocrity they are trying to escape?

Just like Donahoe, who rebuilt the roster as he saw fit, they better get it right because there will be no excuses for them with no one standing in the way regarding personnel acquisitions.

See that is the deal, beane has no ego in this regard. Look at the top Front office guys he brought in, what TWO other GM candidates? We will finally get it right, but it takes time.

  2. Baker Mayfield

Against the powerhouses of Montana St and UTEP.

True, but Mayfield did it in one half. Your boy Darnold looked like crap against lesser competition. Allen was a pure crap show unfortunately.

Lets give away two 1st round picks for another can`t miss player. Duh Bills. I think we need to see more out of the kid from Pitt. Lets go Buffalow.

You do to get a QB, not a WR.

  3. Sadly, we will never know what would have happened had he been allowed to pick his own coach. I didn't hate Whaley, in fact thought he had a good eye for talent, but he always had to compromise with a HC (including in the draft room). A lot of this was handled less than ideally, but I'll just keep looking forward. At least now we have people who seem firmly tied together and on the same page - so we know who to credit and who to blame.

Sadly? The only thing sad is how horrible he was at evaluating talent and drafting

Could have used the guy who was on the same pace through 3 years as Julio Jones.

Stop with the crusade already. Sammy his gone, he is a Ram go follow the rams.

Panthers traded WR Kaelin Clay to the Buffalo Bills, per source.

    Edit: Update:

Updated trade: Turns out that Buffalo traded CB Kevon Seymour to the Carolina Panthers for WR Kaelin Clay, per source.

    Update again:

Bills also get Panther's 2019 seventh round pick along with WR Clay for Seymour.

Good to get something for a player who wouldn't make the team.

  5. This has to be a NFL record for total trades in a single off season. Leading the NFL has to be the Buffalo Bills new front office...

    1. The trade down for White & 1st in 2018

    2. The trade up for Zay Jones

    3. The trade up for Deon Dawkins

    4. Watkins deal

    5. Darby deal

    6. C.Jones deal

    7. Ragland deal

    8. Clay deal

Plus is Beane setting a new trend for player for player trades? I don't remember seeing so many players for player deals in resent memory.

You have to be drastic when the talent is way over hyped and under performing. Get them off the roster, but get something if you can.

I would like to add, he has read through to his 4th Option at least a couple times and has hit 10 different WR's

  7. Well, disappointed how things are looking so far. Best thing it that it has tempered my expectations so I don't get my hopes up that this is going to be a winning season.

We can talk about scheme and best fits, but it seems their talent evaluations are based all on money and personality. Everything else, including talent, takes a back seat.

This was not going to be a winning season. The sooner fans come to grip with this, the better it will be. We are rebuilding which is why I do not understand TT Still being here but whatever

  8. This is really sad. Its been explained to you many many times and you still sit around with fingers in you ears. Tolbert played well when given reps. Tolbert is a leader in thr locker room and is on the chesp. Hes earned his spot on the roster if he receives one.

He, and others, are bitching about backups. They are now crusading and trolling their opinion over BACKUPS repeatedly. The wailing over Riley is as bad as when Watkins got traded.

This is the biggest issue with Bills fans. They cling to feel good stories and ignore these guys are backups at best. Thank God Beane is here and will clean out the feel good, and start putting real talent on the team over time.

  9. Sure he

Philly Brown is going to have a spot on this team based on nothing logical. The guy has done nothing here or in his entire career. Reilly deserved a spot on the team. Should have been

    Zay

    Mathews

    Holmes

    Reilly

    Tate or brown

I want to give these guys a shot here but I'm really not liking what they are doing with the roster so far. Hope in wrong

WR's in a WCO are usually bigger, not fast, good hands, can run really good routes. So far everyone on that list fits the description

So the Mantra should be you have to earn it unless

    You are a former Panther

    A UFA signing

    A Pet Pro

First, this team was never making the playoffs. Second you are bitching about backups. Third, and this is the most simple, you can always root for someone else. We know it won't be the Panthers.
