  1. And already recieving interest from Several Teams

I am told (seriously) Brock Osweiler has already received inquiries.

He isn't available to officially sign anywhere til tomorrow afternoon.

Of course. His contract was too stupid for anyone to pick up, but at a cap friendly deal, and him understanding he is a backup, he will be in demand

I think people are way to hard on him. I would probably take him over Tyrod tbh

The contract made him look so much worse then he is . I like some of what he did in Houston and a lot of what he did in Denver. At a fair price I would certainly be interested in him for the right price.

If we could get him, I trade TT if I can and go with Peterman as starter, Brock as backup. If I can't trade TT I just flat cut him. This would give us two guys who can function better than TT in this system.

  2. He's talking about wanting a player the Texans were willing to give up a #2 pick not to keep and pay him, as well as the Brown willing to buy a second round pick for $10m and just forget about him. The idea was always just to cut him. Not sure why they even played him and then cut him.

I am talking about a guy to be a backup who knows our system and had an 86 QB rating in this system with this offensive coach. Nothing more than that. Cap friendly deal, backup.

You have to at least sit down objectively, as the Bills, and consider this. BUT I ask Dennison. If I go to him and day "coach here is my idea..." And I see on his face he wants to puke, his head instinctively starts shaking no, he bursts into uncontrollable laughter then I forget I had the idea :-)

Matt Barkley cut by Niners, remember when he as going to be the number one pick.

This is why when we are looking to draft a franchise QB next year, we get a guy who has done well for about 3 years. This is also why I wasn't high on Mahomes coming out.

  3. He can be had for $775k annually. Drop TT, start Peterman and have Osbert on the bench.

    Now someone actually gets it!

Well that would make sense to KellyTough. If he's playing, he is sucking, but if he is not playing he is not sucking and couldn't be sucking.

I can't respond to your stupid comment the way I want, so Ill just say this... as a cheap BACKUP in THIS OFFENSE ONLY, he would be a decent option.

  4. I applaud the NFLPA on this. When you keep a female investigator from being able to testify that according to her interviews and evidence Zeke did nothing wrong, its pure BS. The courts WILL allow her to testify.

This is a major issue with the CBA And I bet the players will never agree in the next one to allow Goodel to be fully in charge, nor should he be, on discipline. They are intentionally trying to screw this kid to look good to womens groups, or it just another commissioner power trip.

  5. So, we'll probably see peterman

Time will tell but I think we'll be able to draft mayfield with our 2nd 1st rd pick or in the 2nd rd. Are you an OU fan? I don't see what you see. I see a thicker version of Johnny football. I've only watched him in 5-6 games. I like his toughness and leadership. I don't really like what I've seen in his arm

LMAO Can the media and fans who really haven't watched him stop with the Johnny football bull crap already? This kid is light years ahead of that assclown. Yeah he had one stupid incident, thank God Cell phones weren't around in the 70's and 80's college football.

He is a leader that you can put a team on his back and he gets them to go.

As for as his arm, what games are you watching, this kid can sling a football. Now is he perfect, No, NO COLLEGE QB IS! I mean even the college God Andrew Luck still has some fleas on his game per say.

Haha. Oklahoma is a gimmicky offense with blue chip players at every position. Not buying him but I love good qbs so I hope I'm wrong.

Really? Seems most QB's come from this Gimmicky offense. You know the ones where the QB takes the snap, looks over the field, makes reads and delivers a football. Jesus folks quit reaching to put down a guy you don't want, because you really dont' know him

He will be under a RB of pressure. The OSU DL is the best in the country and CRAZY deep. The pressure will be there all day. Can Mayfield get the ball out quickly and exploit a young secondary? We will see...

Good I want him to be. Its the only way you learn and grow.

  6. Against the powerhouse of Tulsa

Yep, that is what I am trying to get them to understand.

This is true...And that's all before they get to the Post Season and they REALLY get picked apart...

What we should know is one of the top guys will fall back and one will come out of nowhere to crack the top 15 or so...

I do feel this year is a little different...I've never seen so many potential (the dreaded p-word) premium QB prospects...Now...They could all flame out by next April...Maybe a few don't come out...But on the other hand if most of them play well, and they all come out?...This is going to be nuts! B-)

Agreed. With his CAREER I still go with Mayfield. ( have him 1a with Allen right now) I am really anxious to see how he does against the other OSU (Ohio) Next weekend. The OL needs to do better than they did last year and WR;s need to fight for the ball harder. But we will see.

  7. I don't see why people care...some are kneeling, some are raising their arms....it's not like they're turning their back to the flag or giving the finger....what about fans in the stands, drinking, talking and shouting during the anthem?

it's their intent. The guy eating nachos is just eating nachos he isn't intentionally pissing on the national anthem in America. Jim Brown one of the greatest activists out there that was a great athlete has summed it up best go read his thoughts on this
  8. Aren't you a Choklahoma fan? I think that would explain a good reason that you aren't seeing it....

You mean the consistent top 10 OU, yes I am. But I'm in Oklahoma and 1st. I love OSU you as a school and have many friends that are alumni from there in fact a couple teach therE.

So other than the weekend they are playing each other I support OSU that is how I come to my conclusion on Mason Rudolph and I have the same conclusion that my friends who are OSU fans and alumni have come to as well.

They do not understand where this first-round hype is coming from concerning the kid has been greatly inconsistent most of his career and yes gets exposed every OU game

I look at all players objectively. even recognize some of Baker Mayfield's flaws that are being worked on.

  9. The only reason Rudolph did that well it's because he got that receiver back. He looks to him primarily all the time. Watch him the rest of the year and see how he does if he doesn't throw to that receiver I don't know where all this High round draft pick talk is coming for him but I haven't seen in his play
