    Thought experiment:

Start a thread about Seattle’s OL and the impact the USFL could have on it.  Before the end of page one there will be something explaining why an Edmunds trade comes into play.  Any topic will work.  If you prefer to start on off the wall try a thread on favorite pasta dishes……Edmunds bash.  On PPP a thread on world hunger can transform into an Edmunds bash three posts.

The real question is once Edmunds is traded, cut, leaves in FA or retires a Bill in 2034, who will be the next bashomatic?  It’s too early to tell in 2034 but if he left soon, and with Beasley gone, prime candidates are Dawkins, Milano, maybe Oliver.

    Six degrees of Tremaine Edmunds.

You can connect Tremaine Edmunds to any thread topic within six posts.

bit too much is being kind. He is about 3 whole buckets of too much. I find Schrags voice annoying and they don't actually let him do what he is good at which is report they have him in this kinda personality / talking head / opinion giver role he is ill suited for. Kay is fine but she is just fine.

    Nate was the show.

Agreed. We're all supposed to love Kyle because he likes the Bills. But the show itself is pablum.

And yes. Kay is fiiiiiiiiiiiine!!!!! 💘

    Off the field: Keyboard warrior....

The guy is gone because he's a nozzle.

The vax is a personal choice. I disagree with his choice, but I respect it.

What I do not respect is his knack for being a distraction. The twitter bombs and multiple fines for breaking the collectively agreed protocols. McD seems like a guy who is not fond of distractions.

Here's my hot Covid (vax) take.

Take it. Don't take it. But shut the **** up.

  4. My earliest memory of the Bills was losing 24-23 to Miami during their 17-0 season.

    Other early memories:

Listening to Van Miller (or Rick Azar) for every home game, because we never sold out.

My dad being angry because Lou Saban was too conservative and was "sitting on" a 3 point lead in the second quarter. 😆

    Gary Marangi.

Nick Mike-Mayer hooking every big kick wide left.

    Fergie hanging his head.

    OJ was amazing.

    Kay Stevenson.

    Hank Bullough.

So yeah, 88-93 brought joy never before felt (and pain). But the love of the team is in my DNA.

And of course this era is full of possibilities. Is the season here yet?

  5. We've spent 2 decade trying to find enough wins if "everything goes well" that could get us to the playoffs. It's a tough mindset to get past.

New England and Miami pose a reasonable threat in an any given Sunday kind of way.

But we're at the "we don't worry about them, they worry about us" phase.  If the Bills play well, they should win every week. Of course that's not how it will play out. But as amazing as winning a Super Bowl would be, looking forward to every  game knowing we are a legit contender, and we'll likely see some amazing things is everything.

A great TD/int ratio but with very few yards because  he rarely took chances.

It's worse than that. I remember the game when I was "over" Tyrod. Tony Romo was constantly telling Tyrod to "Just throw it!!" because guys were open. But Tyrod would always wait until he saw clear distance between the receiver and the DB. Romo explained that when the receiver made his cut, and had inside position on the DB,  that was "open" in the NFL. It's called throwing on schedule. It's not taking chances. It's how you have to play QB. It's also how you get YAK.

Tyrod could not overcome this. And it's why he's a career backup.

Improper game specific scheming and intentionally poor play calling at critical moments would be the easiest ways to throw a game unless you include paying off a player to do so.  A critical INT, fumble, missed kick, blown coverage, etc. would do the trick in most games.

Why did "13 seconds" just pop into my mind?
