  1. Im not really mad about trading Dareus but I would say the writing is on the wall here. With all the moves so far its clear this front office is going to go all in cheap and never pay or want to pay anyone. We are going to be the Rays here and anytime a good player wants to be paid, we will replace him with entry level moneyball trash.

  3. The Jonathan Williams release is still the most puzzling move this FO did this year. He's just chilling on a practice squad ripe for the picking. He looked good in preseason was getting praise from the coaches and then he was gone. If Shady does go down then we have to rely on banyard and taiwan to carry the ball. Why did dimarco run yesterday at least use taiwan he has some speed. I don't mind seeing Tolbert make a few punishing runs because sometimes he does get decent yardage and a pile of dust. But we have to have someone we can rely on to take over if anything heaven forbid happens to Shady.

The fact that no one scooped him up even to be RB3 should answer this. I want to see Banyard get some carries soon.

  4. Teams don't want to pay over $10M a year for a player that eats up blockers and essentially is a space eater, those can be had for south of $10M a year. You pay $10M + a year for DT's that live in the opposing team's backfield, who disrupts, who makes tackles behind the LOS who gets sacks and QB pressures.

Right now, he's a space eater and not much more.

In 2014 he did live in the opposing teams backfield. He was a one man wrecking crew. It was beautiful.

Such a shame he just doesn't care.

  5. Finally, the team leaders are getting together to stand up against their disappointment with how McDermott's clapping reminds them of Dick Jauron.

McDermott will be standing with the media clapping enthusiastically during both pressers.

I may be misinformed, but I believe his press conference clap is a more deliberate slow clap.

You just never know what dumb occurrence will become "a thing" around here. :D

  6. Do you like his sideline mannerisms?

I appreciate his intensity and it seems sincere, but I cannot get over when he claps adamantly when there is a 3 and out, a defensive collapse or even something positive. It is the same robotic motion every time.

This thread is ridiculous, I know. But it really pisses me off to see how eager he is to greet his players to the sideline when the just blew a big opportunity.

    It's up there with:

    Marrones blank stare

    Todd Bowles **** eating grin

    Carrols gum smacking confusion

Looks like he might have cracked my top three...
