I'll be honest, I didn't think Daboll's offense raised the team beyond the level of their talent. His biggest achievement was getting Josh to be Josh we saw the last 3 years - and a huge portion of that credit actually belongs to the lab work from Allen himself.  The Bills had a lot of the same struggles under Daboll that they had under Dorsey - namely a consistent running game and protecting the passer. Dorsey got stuck with a really poor OLine as well. If you remember, Daboll got pro-bowl caliber performances out of his tackles, and reasonable quality out of the interior. Dorsey has Trent Brown.

The one area where I thougt Dorsey REALLY needed to be better about was getting the TEs more involved, after having paid Knox big money.

Dabol knew the offensive line was the major weakness.  That’s why he didn’t run the ball conventionally.

Instead, he moved the chains with an insanely effective short passing game supplemented with QB designed runs.  Dorsey hasn’t been able to replicate that short passing game.

Which would be fine if they had a competent offensive line but Beane has failed miserably on that front.

Overachiever for a 6th rounder, sure.  But that doesn't mean he's an All Time dual threat lol.  His passing stats are TERRIBLE.  How can you be an all time dual threat if one of the threats, you're terrible at?

    Since he's left Buffalo, he has 9 passing TD's to 8 INT's and a QBR between 10-40.

He's an all time runner because there haven't been many of those but passing the ball....yikes.

Drew Lock's passing stats are terrible.  Mark Sanchez, Matt Leinart, EJ Manuel, Trent Edwards, and many, MANY more.  The reason this thread exists is because of posts like this.

  3. Extremely poor drafting.

I'm not giving up hope on the 2022 draft.  I'm curious to see Elam, Cook, and Shakir with better coaching.

2021, 2020, and 2019 all look generally bad.  Rousseau, Epenesa, and Basham look like complete nonfactors.  Ed Oliver was a bust for a ninth overall pick.  Cody Ford was a total bust.  Spencer Brown and Devin Singletary might turn out to be a decent third rounders.  Gabe Davis and Dawson Knox are the only good looking picks.

2018 is the only solid looking draft.  Allen, Edmunds, Philips, Johnson, and Teller are all great picks especially for their draft positions.

Way too much priority on the defense.  Not nearly enough for the offense in an offensive driven league.
