I am still baffled someone didn't literally murder him on the field for this action.

How on earth did Preston Brown not jump on his back and wrench his helmet around 4-5 times and beat his head into the ground relentlessly?

I just do not get it. Soft.

I literally was just discussing this sitatuion on Sunday with my buddies about this, and how soft it made us look. Adding that it was too bad Shaq Lawson was not on the field at the time  , he would have done something. (I think he was possibly injured heading to the IR at the time.)

Ouch!  That five minute gag reel was painful!  LOL

But seriously, just looking at those 35 throws my gut feeling is about half of those misses are 100% on the receiver. The other half do have at least a small percentage up to 50/50 QB error in the mix, because of less than excellent ball placement.  So at worst, gut feeling is those misses are 25% on Allen.  I agree they were all catchable. I do think he makes average receivers look worse... Most throws in the NFL involve at least a little bit of receiver adjustment to the ball while it is in the air. Josh throws the ball so hard that an average receiver doesn't have time to take more than one step to adjust their route. Zay Jones has quicker feet and pretty good instincts, which helps him a bit. They need to continue to add receivers with uncanny instincts and twitchy/smooth quickness and good hands with just enough size to not be Isaiah McKenzie. That's pretty much a description of Antonio Brown, so I'm hoping all the issues in Pittsburgh are traced back to Big Ben, not AB and his character doesn't keep him out of Buffalo...

Just did the quick math on that.

If the WRs caught 50% of those 35 drops. He'd be at 58% completion rate for the year. If they caught 75% of those 35 drops, he'd be at 61%. Which isn't a stretch by any measure with a solid WR/TE core. Plus, it'd be nice if they had more throws into the flat for him. Those numbers are a huge jump and more respectable which would have made him second out of the rookies. We need to grab some guys with hands in this off-season via the draft and FA.

Listened to the Bucky and Sully Show on 1270 AM in Buffalo.  Some real interesting points.

    - Sully said Bills fans need to stop complaining about the Patriots.  He said that as a Red Sox as a fan in the 1970’s, he’d always cheer for the Yankees after they beat the Sox.  Fans shouldn’t be happy rooting for another team’s misery.  Bucky said he has Patriots fatigue.

    - Sal is sick of the Patriots but said it was no surprise that New England took a dump all over San Diego.  All 3 hosts trash Gus Bradley’s defensive plan and Sal said he knew SD would get destroyed by Brady.

    - Oddly enough Bucky praised Gronkowski and said he had one of his best games as a Patriots (1 catch for 25 yards!?!?).  As said San Diego sucks because they couldn’t even stop a 32 year-old Julian Edelman.

    - Talk switches to how team won with running the ball last week and why the run game isn’t dead in a passing league.  Sal says you can find running backs anywhere as evidence by CJ Anderson, and that the Bills should definitely move on from McCoy.

Good segment that you can hear below:

He has to be the only Sox fan that does that. No true Sox or Yankees would root for the other after losing to them. As a Mets fan that'd be like me rooting for the Phillies, Braves, Nats, Marlins. Hell, I still despise the Giants and Dodgers, so, I root against them as well. One of the best elements of being a fan of a team is also having villains that go against your team of interest. It's fun to root against in our perceived minds the "bad guy".

Personally, I don't like the Pats mainly due to their fans along with the Jets, Phins, Cowgirls, and Giants.  We have some pats fans that dwell here and they  come across as condescending when talking to the Bills fans just because their team has been dominant it's almost as they feel whatever they a spew out their pie hole is gold, and since our team has been doo doo butter for the past 18 years we have no clue.

But, let's be real for second the entire division has been shot. The closest thing to a franchise QB during the Brady/BB era has been Chad Pennington, and maybe one yeah of Bledsoe with us in 2002. Yet, he still couldn't get it done in 2004 with that defense.

I'd be all for a retro fit of the current stadium. The tailgating alone is worth keeping the stadium where it is. Plus a retrofit would probably be the cheaper option. Engineer it so you could put a retractable dome on it. Make it usable year round

I think this is the best idea. I'm not from the Buffalo area, but a retractable roof or covering the fans from most of the elements would aide in allowing the elderly and handicap to attend games as well.

But, I like Arizona's stadium being in a dome with a grass field. Also, would benefit the noise the home crowd could generate within the dome. Side note: I hate turf and wish all fields were grass.

Cam Newton has a career completion percentage of 59.7%...prior to this season he had 2 years with at or above a 60% completion percentage, with a high of 61.7% and the other exactly at 60%.  This year he well exceeded this at 67.9%.

So what is going no? Did he just learn how to be more accurate? or was he making easier throws to McCaffery more often leading to higher completion rates?

McCaffrey was a huge part of that. He had 107 receptions this year.

Even look at Eli Manning, his career completion rate was around 59%. He had a two years at 63.1 and 63.0 but was always around 59-60. This year with Barkley he had a career high 66% and his career completion rate jumped over 60% finally(60.3%).

I really want the Bills to grab Scott from MSU or Gaskins from Washington. This would help Allen out so much.
