This is a joke right? Welker was better ,and isn't even deserving of the Hall of Fame. Don't give my the rings argument because that is just a feeble argument. If you combined Welker's and Edelman's numbers you get almost the equivalent of one Andre Reed

He's not the match-up nightmare he was a few years ago. He's still our best blocking TE, but that isn't saying much when out of our three TE's 2 of them are converted from other positions.

Unfortunately, he’s came out and said he wants a chance at a ring. We don’t fit that narrative yet.
I was a huge fan of his in college and continued to follow through his NFL career.

He’s a guy I’ve wanted for a while. I like his size and speed. If we didn’t sign him and went the N’Keal Harry or Metcalf Route in the draft I’d be okay with signing Humphries or Beasley instead.
