  1. This is a really bad look for the agent/PA. Can't imagine the bills are thrilled about the publication of the structure of their offer. Assuming the bills are not the high biddder/high guaranteed offer, client could have legitimate concern that the "better" offer is reduced in view of terms of bills' offer. Could also impact this agent's dealings with teams regarding other clients.

It's kind of BS if you ask me. I know nothing is fair in life but this has to be against the CoC? Very unprofessional.

  2. Was just going to say, he'd likely start out on PUP

    But good player

I agree, played on a defense that had swagger and an edge to them. Would be nice to have someone that could bring some of that to this team.

I think there be a few here unpleased with his signing due to his injury and that he won't be completely ready for the start of 2017.

  3. Shead (knee) is doing well in rehab but isn't expected back for the start of the 2017 season, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Shead had surgery to repair his torn ACL in January. It would take a near superhuman recovery for him to return for the start of the 2017 season, but the Seahawks are hopeful that he'll be able to play at some point during the year.

  4. ONE PLAY OMG

    lol'd

    Dr Seussian ?

I mean it was only one play but it was memorable.

We draft a player: another better player was still on the board, this was a luxury pick

We re-sign a player: a backup on the Bills played better than this guy all year

We franchise a player: he's not worth this much money, we should've let him walk or traded him

We get a player off waivers: I've never heard of this guy

We drop a player: why didn't they keep them for depth

We trade a player: we lost on that trade, the other team won

Another team acquires our player: why did we let him go?! he was never given a good shot here

Is this a breakdown of the thought process of an irrational Bills fan?

  5. I don't understand what the plan at receiver is. Tyrod said part of the reason he took a pay cut was to get better receivers on the team. But as of right now we have worse, yes WORSE, receivers than last year. Is the plan to evaluate Tyrod for a year or not? Sounds like they're just saying F it, we'll run our backs into the ground and pray Sammy stays healthy.

This has been a bad weak spot for Whaley, along with RT.

We are taking 6 receivers this draft.Trying to match the browns and their success of drafting 7 last year.

  6. I think attempting to fill the #2 WR spot via the draft, and expect that player to start from day 1 is a risky proposition. Even if they draft Williams or Davis at #10 overall, there is no way to know if they can be make an immediate transition to NFL every down player...and be successful at it. Compounding this potential problem, you have Sammy and a bunch of 3-4-5 WR's. In that scenario, pray that Watkins does not get hurt, or the season goes down the toilet in a hurry...I don't care how good you can run the ball.

Unfortunately, I don't know what Plan B would be at this point. Trade?

You can really say that about every position. I mean we all knew were in trouble if we believed Ragland and Lawson were going to turn around the entire defense in their first NFL season.

  7.

You say Mahomes is a first round talent, and he may very well go in the first. But he is most often not graded as one of the top 32 players in this draft which makes him not a first round grade on many scouts and analysts boards. QB's always go above their grade out of need/desperation, so quite possible he goes in the first just like EJ and JP did.

What is NOT debatable is that Mahomes is NOT a top 10 talent in this draft. He wont be remotely close to the BPA at #10...you having a crush on him and wanting to gamble on him doesn't change those facts. Does not mean he wont go in top 10...the top 4 QB's have done almost nothing to seperate themselves from each other, so its going to come down to a teams personal grade on which QB they like best. Most feel he is the 3rd or 4th best QB in this draft behind Trubisky, Kizer, and Watson. But none of that matters when a team is on the clock, what matters is how that team grades them and if they are committed to getting a QB.

But for Buffalo, we do not need to reach for a QB at ten with TT back and restructured. So the odds the Bills reach for any QB in a draft loaded with talent at other positions that are better prospects and at positions of bigger need are incredibly low.

And again, how many Mahomes threads do we need to speculate on something is a massive long shot from happening?

Don't bother arguing with them and making valid points, they still believe our biggest need is QB over the deficiencies we currently have at wide receiver, corner back, safety, and Will LB positions and that the Bills should reach at 10 for one of their man crushes they just learned about a few months ago.

  8. Well considering neither scenario is going to happen...not sure I see the point.

Mahomes is most commonly listed outside the top 30 in this draft and always behind Trubisky as a QB and frequently behind Kizer and Watson too. He is a guy who is ranked 2 to 4 at his own position in what is one of the 2 weakest positions in this draft.

Why do people think after restructuring TT we are now going to gamble with the 10th pick in the draft on a QB who isnt even considered the best QB in this draft by almost all the scouts and analysts? He wont be remotely close to BPA at 10, even if a team views him as the #1 QB in this draft, he still wont be close to BPA at 10.

Its like people refuse to accept that TT restructured and QB is no longer a serious contender at 10. Sure, anything can happen, I mean Al Davis took a 2nd/3rd round WR in the top 10 in DHB because he was fast, so all that matters is a team wants you. But I just can't see any logical scenario where we pass up a significantly better graded prospect at a position with a much higher need to gamble on a QB with mechanics issues who couldn't even lift his game enough to be the best QB is what is not that great of a class.

And no way Peterman goes that high. The QB class and Tackles are the two worst positions in this draft and the draft is loaded with talent in so many other areas. He's a 4th round pick and may not even go that high.

And how many threads do we really need about this?
