I think that is true and a very fair point. Him knowing that he might have slid. Protecting his body and being smart will be big for him... as it was for Dak last year and has had to be for Tyrod too.
absolutely. I think Watson will be a fine QB in this league. Definitely a smart guy. I just want the "why did we pass on him same old Bills" talk to be put on hold at least until September.

If this guy’s last name had been FLUTIE, you !@#$s would have sold out his jersey a year and a half ago. Why, I simply can’t imagine why this fanbase wouldn’t fully embrace Tyrod and give him the support he could use to develop as a passer…

He has some talent but it's always different when the games, especially the real games, start. Who was the stud wr last preseason? He looked great in the preseason and didn't do a thing in the regular season.

Simply put, this year is win-win. Either tyrod puts it all together and we have our man, or he doesn't and we can get a guy next year with our firsts.

Bills OC Rick Dennison said Nathan Peterman's progression reminds him of T.J. Yates' progression when he was a rookie.
you know what, I'll take that from a 5th round pick. I think he can be more, but getting a TJ Yates is not bad at all.

I bet its a tweak. He kept his helmet on and didn't look like he was limping too much.

His blocking was not the greatest in the goal line drills, but he was definitely serviceable. I had a front row seat to see him work, and he set a nice block keeping the edge rusher out so Williams could punch it in.

You guys need to get your stories straight.
He was basically playing on the outside shoulder of the OT most plays with his hand on the ground.........not that dissimilar to what he will be asked to do this season.
The "Shaq as an OLB" thing never materialized.......the Bills original defensive plan got punched in the mouth before Shaq even came back from injury........and he was subsequently used primarily as a down pass rusher, which made his lack of production quite glaring and lead to his relegation to less than 20 snaps per game in the final 3 contests.
