Mark it down: @ Jets, Thursday night, 11/2. Bills will be 1-6 or 2-5. Young Nathan will be handed the keys. Soft part of the schedule: @ Jets, home vs. Saints pathetic D, @ Chargers. He'll be given every chance to succeed.
hope so - I got great seats to the Saints game with it being so close to my birthday. Maybe I'll get to watch the dawn of the Peterman Era in the NFL.
Like I said, see what you have the final 4-5 weeks of the season.
Thinking Peterman will be anything other than a complete train wreck over a 14 game stretch is ridiculous. You'll be starting Taylor again by the end of October....
face it bro, what we got now doesn't seem to be working. Lets see what Taylor can do at home, but be on notice...
-
Yah, he lit it up, but versus who? -Montana State is a middle of the pack 2A team..... Lets see him hit numbers like that Sept 16th vs. Oregon...

52-23 over Oregon State....6 touchdown passes...

I hate you so much as a poster. You couldn't post this in one of the thirty other Tyrod threads? Go be stupid somewhere else, you !@#$ing whore.
-
they saw something in him that no one else did. Patriots saw it too - they had an interview with him before we did.
-
what we learned?
This defense is good.
No matter the system, no one will ever make TT an NFL caliber QB.
That's what we've learned.
Yeesh, youre right. 3rd offensive coordinator yielding the exact same results is a problem. I refuse to believe that Dennison is at fault.

McDermott made a tactical error not calling timeout with 43 seconds left.........but when Gannon criticized him for not taking the TO before the half......he neglected the fact that McDermott waited so long so that he could see the offensive formation.
Like it or not....his clockwork was mostly in line with what he wanted to do.........kill the clock and hopefully win at the last minute.......Dickie J used to do this all the time.
I remember Dickie J punting the ball down 6 with two minutes left in Houston .........and he got lucky and the Bills got the ball back and JP hit Peerless Price at the last second in the end zone for the victory.
That's what McDermott was hoping for.........he stripped the roster of a number of talented players so that he could have a group that was cool with playing this style of football.
Another one calling for McD's head, eh?
-
Thanks for the reminder. Seriously .... people need to be reminded.
Why? You wanted us to pickup some retread, half-ass QB that would get us to MAYBE 9-7 for a couple years? Leaving us the exact same place we have been for 17 years? No, we are going to get a QB for the future in May, 2018. Until then, deal with what we have. In the end, it will be better.
-
any reason you want to rub it in, or what? Chargers are a cursed team.
-
oh good more of these threads.
-
I think OP was calling out the guys looking for McD to be fired/Dennison to be fired/Tyrod the worst QB ever
-
Man our D has 1td allowed in 2 games. Not bad at all.
-
It really looks like they don't trusy tyrod
-
Wow! What a 180 from rex. Cam was getting battered and bruised. Great stuff. That's something at least.
-
Bingo. History repeats itself in Buffalo.
Time to fire McD already? Christ I need to get off this board.
-
not perfect, but it's the same coaching staff that has the team within a score to win the game on the road, so I can't complain much. The OL was dominated on the run game and was shaky in pass pro.
Penalties are still looking good and the timeouts are rookie stuff. No need for panic on that front.
-
Wahhhhhhhhh
-
Taylor wasn't very good overall, but this loss falls directly on the coaches.
Even still, the Bills were a dropped TD away from winning a game they had no business winning. It was a lot like the Titans game a couple years ago...except without the clutch catch near the end.
Nah I dont see anything wrong with coaching today.
-
So put in peterman and lets roll on to Denver. Fans are going to start booing
-
It is an inexcusable miss. It isn't a tight window.
He was shocking today. Absolutely shocking.
He DID drive them down
-
Were gonna do it. I have a feeling
-
Christ this offense is anemic
-
The Bills offense is terrible.
Below average QB, below average OL, below average at TE, way below average at WR.
Aside from McCoy, we've got nothing.
Since when is our offensive line below average?
