  14. Why are you using RGIII’s tweet like some kind of gotcha? I agree with his take. You mean the topic that one of the most important events in human history cannot be boiled down to a single act, but rather a host of different environmental, economic and political factors?
  15. A tipping point sure, but remember, the colonies wanted to keep expanding west and were forbidden from doing so by the british government via the Proclamation of 1763. Revolutionary attitudes were sown as early as the French and Indian War.
  16. Taxes were certainly one of them, but I’d argue it was a general desire for self-government instead of a king on the other side of the ocean.
