  1. Looking at Tyrod's deal, Mahomes is still a possibility. McDermott could be thinking 'this will give our rookie 1-2 years to learn, and our best way to win during the interim.' If that's why they kept Tyrod, then fine.

I'd be just fine with that scenario, and it seems likely. But only if he's there in the second. Otherwise, sign a vet at min and draft one next year to complete that process. The logic in that plan isn't as "billsy" as some posters would assume,as it actually seems to make sense

Knowing DW he'll trade 2 1st rounders just to move up one spot to get a bust of a player like Sammy.

maybe your username should read "Disgruntled Bills Fan",or "Hardcore Hater"? Just some third party suggestions. ...
  2. Regardless of TT staying our first pick should be: 1) Mahomes, 2) Watson, 3) Williams. End of story.

    Go Bills!!;!;

A huge NO to a WR at ten who's had two neck surgeries following a broken neck! Also, people dont seem to realize that McD needs a WLB for this D. It's his most important piece, and should be addressed very early in the draft. And I say draft because we don't have the cash for that kind of skill player this year. I expect them to trade back, gain extra picks, and grab Cunningham or Reddick in the middle of the first
  3. Gil better not be gone. that's all.

that's what I wondered.if we do sign Dimarco, and retain Mike G,that's three FA rb's on our roster, which is weird with a deep draft coming up. Maybe they just wanna save them picks to fix our defense. All in all,not a bad pickup for a mil....

lol i dont get these moves at all. trying to run in a passing league?

    what a broken record.

you gotta do both, and do them well,if you wanna win in January and February

Don't be surprised if Tolbert is just a veteran camp presence...

at a million bucks? We coulda drafted or signed udfa for that
  4. He's no LeGarrette Blount. Tolbert is shorter, slower, fatter with 114 yards all last season. Didn't crack the rotation even when Carolina's 1st stringers went down which always happens. Guaranteed to slow down the game and force punts if he plays. Anybody with an OL can gain a yard. Winning appears to be secondary to McDermott. What a coward.

a coward? Holy s* man, let's see how the roster plays out first.while I think we could've grabbed another back in a deep draft this year,a mil is pretty cheap for a pass catching FB&short yardage ace. Not to mention his familiarity with coach
  5.

I'm surprise that nobody's noticed that we have NOT released Jerome Felton. Is this really what we're doing... 3 veteran FBs?? It seems like Felton should be the odd man out, I'm not sure why they're keeping him on the roster?

I believe he becomes a FA today .....and obviously won't be signed here
  6. Zach Brown forgot how to tackle the 2nd half of the season. Reggie Ragland is a solid ILB who McDermott hopes will be his "Kuechly". I don't think we keep Alexander or Z. Brown and the LB market isn't that great in free agency. So, it seems our top 3 needs are CB, OLB, and WR in the draft.

I agree.it'd be nice to trade down a bit and grab an extra third or so and get Zach Cunningham. Then grab best available CB,S,And WR with our extra pick. Chris Godwin would be nice in the third...
  7. Tolbert signed a 1 year 1 Million dollar deal. He will be a short yardage runner, not a lead blocker. Patrick DiMarco signed a 4 year, $8,500,000 contract with the Buffalo Bills, including $4,000,000 guaranteed. His cap hit won't be much more than 1 million a year IMO.

I seen the same thing. Just weird that they'd throw a million bucks for Tolbert, when the draft is good for rbs and we tendered Gillislee, and have J Will. I guess were stocked pretty good in the rb stable
  8. i think Dimarco is the bigger signing. They play different positions. Tolbert just signing for the vet min. May not even make the roster.

if that's the case, why bother? I mean, who's the odd man out? Td Mike? Are we planning on losing him? I don't see J Will in jeopardy of losing a spot. How many do we keep on the active roster? We could draft a camp body way cheaper than that

Just makes me think they find value in him,and if so,we keep 5 rbs/fbs.But again,in a good class for rb's this year, why pay three in FA? Meaning Td Mike, and these guys

  9. Bills continue to show mastery over contract restructuring and ability to get players to fit in at their number and seemingly take "fair deals" instead of ones tilted oin favor of the players, even when they likely could get more...not sure how they are doing it, but this doesn't get enough praise from people

I couldn't agree more. And yet there are an awful lot of "fans" that bash every decision the FO makes. I actually think things are getting alot better in that regard
  10. I've seen Tolbert.maybe phenomenal was a reach. But seriously, he can bulldoze, but is better blocking on sweeps than up the gut type runs. And besides that,he's a three down guy,if need be.He can really do it all. Power, blocking, good hands, and a nice demeanor. I love that signing. I don't see the need for Dimarco, and I've not seen anything that officially says we've signed him

Tolbert could sign now because he was cut by the Panthers. Dimarco is a pending UFA and had agreed to terms, but can't sign until tomorrow at 4 when FA officially begins.

yeah,I get that. But why would we do both? Guess I just don't see the grand scheme in that lol
  11.

When does their honeymoon phase end? 5 years? 10 years? Or whatever is convenient to deflect criticism off them.

They've owned the team 2 full seasons and are 15-17 during that time despite massive spending on UFA's and retaining other players. Being just under .500, given the resources used, is underachieving.

At the very least they share in the fault for the team's lack of results with their now fired first stab at a HC and the GM they elected to keep upon purchasing the team.

I have a great deal of respect for our Vets, thank you sir. But, that was the most idiotic thing I've ever heard! Two full seasons?? Lmfao
  12.

Yeah I'm gonna call you out on this one. They had the 5th best run game in the league by yards and ypa. Coleman and Freeman are both dynamic backs. DiMarco is an excellent fb.

Shanahan getting cute is why they didn't win the super bowl.

fair enough. Both are dynamic, but not consistent. Shanny didn't get cute,he got overpowered. That's why they lost.

Guess that spells the end for Felton

well what about Tolbert then? What the heck is going on? Lol
  13. I don't know how this guy made it this long. A complete zero and wasted roster spot for much to long

    he was a great gunner..nothing else.good job,OBD

This is a complete rebuild. But only on ST....which is perfectly acceptable to me.we sucked a** lately, time to go fresh.wonder is striker is available as a fa?

  14. They are good people but they seem pretty bad at running a football team.

First of all they keep Doug Whaley as GM (which a lot of people thought he should have been gone)

Ok fine... Then it's reported that Whaley wants a new QB, and Mcdermott wants to keep Taylor... AND ownership ends up siding with the coach over the GM?

How do you keep a GM and then not even listen to him?

This is just baffling... winning teams don't operate like this.

where do you get your info from? Cuz this is just an uninformed post...they are NEW owners, not BAD ones. They haven't had a chance to be bad yet...c'mon people, this is silly talk
