  1. How soon we forget a 17 year long drought where everyone’s weekends in January were spent watching movies and wondering what if.

The Chiefs lost to the Colts and the Texans took them to OT.  Last years number 1 seed couldn’t survive a single game in the playoffs.

You just gotta make it in.  That’s it, absolutely anything can happen after that especially to a division opponent that was relatively healthy (with scary weapons) aside from QB.

Do I wish we played better?  Of course but literally anything can happen on any given sunday.  Take no wins for granted.  If you want dominant victories go play madden.

1 win down, 3 wins away from super bowl champs.

    Cheer up

  2. At the end of the season the grieving I have is more about the loss of the team than it is the loss of the game.

I love “this team”.  Allen, Diggs, Oliver, Poyer, etc.

Whatever team we have next year won’t be this team.  We might lose Poyer, Singletary is likely gone.  Do we retain Lawson and Phillips?

Whatever happens I just want this team to get closure and go out giving everything they got.  No matter what happens this team played their heart out this year.

  3. This is the Bills fan in me talking and not a scenario I would assume would ever be on the table but….

I say they cancel the game and award wins to both teams involved with a stipulation that the Bengals hold all tiebreakers.

That means week 18 everyone is still playing for their livelihood.

Bills need a win to secure 1st.

Chiefs need a win for a shot at first (and Bills loss)

Bengals need a win and two losses for first

Yeah I know wishful thinking but also plays into NFL’s hands of making the last week highly important.

I think an issue is cancel and not make up. Call it a tie and move on?  Trying to make this up will be difficult to impossible.  Especial if Hamlin dies.

Would be hard to give the Bengals a tie with the lead and driving.  Hate to say it but I think the path forward is the Bills forfeiting.  I get it we won’t be the #1 seed.  It is what it is.  Hamlin is what matters

  5. Just puts things into perspective.  I’ve joked sometimes that I come to these forums as therapy for the ridiculously crazy game day hot takes.

But man whether you’re an all pro or the guy that consistently blows coverage every single person that steps on that field puts their life or quality of life on the line.

They all deserve a significant level of respect for that.

  6. That’s awesome news.  I’ve been “in college” these last 6 years after cutting the cord and dropping Directv.  But I’ve never been a fan of their lack of options.

Always felt like there should be multiple entry points into Sunday ticket.  $100 a year for 1 team.  $250 a year for all games.  Or go a la carte and pick your games weekly.  I only want Bills games so $300-$330 felt excessive when I ignore 90% of the games.

I’ll definitely miss the college student $99 steaming deal.

  7. For years I avoided this forum because it was so toxic.  We sucked I didn’t have to be reminded every minute.  Now that we are an actual elite team (took almost 2 decades) I actually like coming here and seeing the crap fest and sometimes even joining in.  It’s borderline therapeutic.  You can see some wild takes and be like “wow I don’t think it’s that bad”.

I don’t think anyone here truly assumes Allen isn’t a once in a generation QB who is hurt, has some growing pains with a new OC, and is in a bit of a rut.

Everyone deals with things their own way.  You don’t like naysayers.  I personally don’t like fans that go to the airport and lay out the red carpet after a regular season win against the Texans.  But to each their own.
