Sorry. Not wall of fame worthy to me. Love him, though.

Agree but I see I'm getting some disagreement about Simpson being removed. Sorry but I just think there is more than on field to qualify one for hall of fame type of recognition. Look at Pete Rose in baseball. If he is passed over why should Simpson not be? Maybe football has different standards?

Bills D is still top 6 in points and yards. I think if anyone said that before the season we would have taken it with the loss of Edmunds.

Hyde missed most of last year...him and Poyer aren't going to be right back to where they are starting out...going to take time.

I think by mid season you see a marked improvement. Same with White.

The defensive numbers are pretty good this year so far.

Hope you're right but you can't reverse aging process.

  3. My concern is our secondary. Safeties are getting old and don't think they're the strength they were. Frankly I have seen White digression even prior to injuries. Good quarterback with good protection I think is real threat.

    Not.

Ya they are in relative terms. What game did you watch? The Jets with Zach will be a tougher out than the pats

I said before season started we need to split our games with Jets and Dolphins. I look at both teams as not give me games. With Rogers out we should have won that one. Hope it doesn't bite us. This division will be nail biter in my opinion.

as a reminder, Josh himself said basically "same shtt, different day."

seems JA17 is acknowledging, himself, that it was more than just a single, one-off, bad day.   He is saying the same shtt from last season is still not fixed.

And if there is something that was not fixed last season, and not yet fixed during an entire off-season, and it looked that bad during game 1, then you need to offer a little more reason why just giving him "a few more games please" is going to see everything get fixed.

Fair enough. How many games has he impacted largely to wins? How many games can we say he was major factor in our losses? Maybe my memories failing me but I think he's on whole a very positive effect. Monday night was I believe his worst game and did cost a win. I'm not ignoring his tendencies to turn the ball over. I'm also not ignoring that particularly in playoffs this can't happen. Still some on here seem to be almost writing him off. I'm not because if it wasn't for him our losses over the time he's been here would be much greater. With all that accolades given to our defense over past few years I've seen them look pretty average on many games we've won by our ability to outscore teams with Josh being a big part.

McDermott, like a common fan, chose to once again single Allen out after the game.  I hate McDermott doing this as coach. First it does not nothing productive.  Secondly it reveals that once again, McDermott doesn't take any responsibility for losing what was a winnable game at the end.

The Bills played 58.5 minutes of disappointing football Monday night.  Then they played 1.5 minutes of good football and were in a position to have a good chance to a better than 50/50 chance to win the game, after the coin toss.  Good coaches, good players put the first 60 minutes behind them, and proceed forward.  Monday night this team choked.   Sure, Superman Josh was not thier monday to single handedly win the game.  But the entire team had a hand in losing. 83 yard rushing plays are the expected point value of a bad turnover.. Decisions to not take penalties resulting in 3 points for the other team, is the expected point value of a turnover.  Punt team giving up a TD is worse than a turnover.   These mistakes don't negate otherwise good perfromances any more than turnovers negate Allen's otherwise good performance  They all sucked.  But McDermott highlighted only one player sucking.  At this point the combination of the two of them sucks.

At this point Allen, continues to be the responsible adult acknowleding his faillures publically.  But that one way street is not likely sustainable.

Josh had four turnovers. Hard to win doing that for sure. My guess is with Rogers those turnovers would have put the game away yet we still got to overtime. Josh has taken personal responsibility for his play. I'm so so on McDermott and our coaching. I'm still bullish on Josh.

The coaches don't seem to be able to get enough out of Allen.  If the don't by end of this year, someone needs to decide if we move on from Allen, or move on from McDermott.  So far the combination is not championship caliber.

I would be shocked if the thought of moving on from Josh would even be a consideration.

  8. Diggs is a great receiver and an intense personality and that can be ,as most things, a positive or a negative depending on the situation or the personality you're dealing with. Now the speculation about Allen's not focused or working at his game is just that speculation and I hope that's not a problem. Nevertheless Josh seems tight and forcing things. If that's self induced or from outside who knows but he definitely appears uncomfortable and his natural talents are being hindered. A sport psychiatrist may be in order here something is amiss here and has been for sometime now.

So throwing into triple coverage isn’t stupid? Josh made bad decisions last night period. Whatever the “Problem “ is needs to get fixed this week in the raiders game plan. If not this is going to be a very long season. The offense I saw called last night didn’t do him any favors either. Calling an inside run to our small rb against that dominant Jets front several times? Clownshow.

Stupid? No. Forcing the ball? Yes. Don't think this is a stupid thing.JMO Definitely agree with you on bad decisions.

  10. Truthfully I don't know what the problem is but Josh and this team have regressed. I've long been one that didn't think we had a great defense a good one but not as great as reported by many fans and media. I thought with some tweaks in our offensive line we could have a great offense. What's happened to the offense is hard to watch. Coaching? Josh ? My guess is both. Coaches didn't have five turnovers....... Josh did. Bottom line is the team has regressed and coaching needs to be held to blame ultimately unless we're to believe all these players hit a wall. Above coaching I've been a long critic of our GM. Really what's he really done that's so great. We're saddled by the cap and still have same holes we've had before. Frankly he drafted Josh Allen. That's it.

  11. .I wish I felt the same as Chandler but I don't think my concern about our defense was all about Frazier and "bend but don't break" defense strategy. Still very concerned. Also, I think Rodgers is still a very good quarterback and gets rid of the ball very quickly and has enough of his old side kicks to be up to speed quickly with a new team. Jets O line is their only weakness. Defensively they're better than us. I'd be happy if we can split our games between them and Miami
